The Tokens were popular in the 1960s this was their biggest hit re-entered the American charts in the 70s This is a modern tour. The falsetto voice was made popular by a group called The Four Seasons with songs like Rag Doll. Try Tokens song... A-B-C 1-2-3
@@jukeboxdave6026 Thank you well-wishes back to you. I just turned 57. I have a love affair with all kinds of music from the Victrola era till the 90s. I enjoy watching reactions to my favorite songs which is how I found you. And I think my being out of touch with current music will afford me the privilege to enjoy reacting along with you to these new songs. I will subscribe to you, and starting your first reaction I will go through your playlist. Cheers!
The lady is a soprano singer named Kelley Krepin Defade if you listen you can hear a soprano Saxophone being played in the background as Kelley is doing her solo.
This was original Doo Wop. Different but catchy, nothing technically elaborate just good singers and usually 3 or more back up singers. I enjoy seeing today's crowd hearing this style of music for the first time. Other similar tunes/groups would be "The Duke of Earl" by Gene Chandler, "Blue Moon by The Marcels", Pretty Little Angel Eyes by Curtis Lee" to name a few. Thanks' for posting.
It's called "Doo Wop" from the early 60's

I believe this is an African song first sung back in the '30's? The Tokens first popularized it in the early 60's.
