Don't think I'm the target audience for this grill but I'm glad that you enjoy this product. You are extremely blessed with such a beautiful family. Hope to see more videos in the near future.

Thanks for the video! That thing looks amazing, I used to own a timberline 1300 and got rid of it because I didn't like that it couldn't really sear meat. But now I'm getting the itch after seeing this! Keep up the hard work, your videos are great!

Hey D, thanks so much! I really appreciate it. I had the induction burner on medium heat. I'm still learning how to use it. I'll definitely go med-high next time for a better sear. It's an amazing outdoor cooking unit! Cheers, and have an awesome summer!

Huge, Gigantic, Enormous Favor to Ask You: I'm trying to see what the end of the Induction Cooktop cord looks like... the end that plugs into the back of the grill from the side cooktop. Is it a regular outlet that could plug into the wall or something different? If different, could you explain it or shoot me a link of something that looks like it. Looking forward to ordering one of these.
You'd save the day for me. Thanks! Great Video by the way!!

Unless Traeger surprises me with a box on my driveway that’s a little rich for me. I’m somewhat suspect of the all-in-one cookers. I use my pellet smoker just for low and slow smoking even though it supports up to 600 degrees. I use my gas grill for short, hot cooks and its side burner for sautéing mushrooms and veggies. It does look like a great unit. It’s great seeing your kids being involved while you’re cooking, very cute. Takes me back 👍.

I hear you 💯 Wayne. Definitely on the pricey side, but in my honest opinion, worth every penny. I do still enjoy a direct reverse sear over charcoal and real wood. Yeah I try to include the kiddos as much as possible, as long as they want to do it! It’s really just so I can hold the memories for when I’m old, ha ha… Cheers brother!

@@ItsRyanTurley Hey, you’re absolutely right! Take a lot of pics and videos then take more. You never have enough when they’re grown and on their own. Wish we had more. But it’s also great hanging with them when you see what kind of adults they’ve become. I’ve learned kids are great at all ages, even they’re 20s like mine. Cheers!

I love my Weber smokefire. The flavor is unmatched, and I can sear on it too!

I have had so much trouble with my Timberline XL with flame out sensor replaced twice, then the motherboard and nothing worked kept getting the flame out sensor error. Then Traeger switch me out with a new Timberline XL grill only to get the same problem again. Now waiting on a flame sensor for this second new Timberline XL grill but nothing have been shipped out it's been going on two weeks and every time I call I have to wait countless hours just to get through. I am so frustrated with this new Timberline XL grill and wanting them to just give my money back. NOTE: THIS IS TGHE SECOND TIMBERLINE XL GRILL SAME PROBLEMS

I'm sorry to hear that. I haven't had a bit of trouble. Perhaps you got a couple lemons. I have dealt with Traeger Customer Service on a couple interactions and they have always been incredible. I hope you get the smoker working properly! Cheers, and thanks for watching.

Its an Awsome smoker, However I decided to give it a good clean out and to my surprise there was so much ash under the burner plate it required a shop vac to get it all. I had the Timberline 1300 previously and although the Xl is far superior I really like the foil liner design better for clean up. Yes you still have to shop vac the 1300 but I really thought the whole concept of the ash and grease keg would work better.

I have a new Timberline XL less than two months and I having all types of trouble with the fire sensor, then the mother board and the sad thing about the situation NOBODY at Traeger seem to care. I have to wait on a area tech guy to come out base on his schedule it taken several days before anyone to come out to fix the problem. I paid too much money for this grill to be having major issues so soon. are anoybody else out there having issues with this grill for what I heard not too many people know much about this grill yet so SAD Traeger

@@ItsRyanTurley I’ve been using regular non flavored pellets and I cook at about 250-275. Just ordered charcoal flavored pellets, and I just read you have to cook at much higher temperatures. I’ll give that a try next

@@ababoy4228 interesting, I’ve never heard of unflavored pellets. You definitely get what you pay for. I’ve used Traeger pellets for years and never had an issue, and the smoke flavor is amazing! But perhaps you just don’t like smoked meat?… The only other idea I have is that your pellets are, no Bueno.
