I’d guess the vast majority of old packs from sets like these that ever existed, have been opened by now. Which just makes unopened product a rare thing, and thus expensive. It’s more that rarity than the promise of card value in them that sets the price. It’s probably easier to find even a Cradle than an unopened Saga booster, though obviously there is more demand for specifically Cradle than there is for the booster.
@@Leuber Exactly. In 25 years from today, packs of any set released in 2024 will probably be at least $50-100 and likely on the higher end of that scale. Some of the price is informed on the contents, but most of it is driven by scarcity.

Foils in 7th edition are black bordered, so that's the only black bordered version with that art. And it's a marginally playable card. Makes sense.
7th edition foils are always insanely expensive
Neat in-pack combo Vampiric Academy Researchers. Take it on the wheel.
It's hilarious how overvalued old packs are. You barely break even if you hit the rarest thing in the pack.
+$300 isn't breaking even?

Good luck, Gavin!
WOW, what a pull!!!
Commenting for engagement 😅
Let’s do this!!!
You cats are the best! Thank you!
4 Uncommons? Was this pack opened and repackaged perhaps?
Rectors, Embrace and Windfall - what’s the fourth one?
@@Leuber Sorry, only 3 but Academy Researches was in a wrong place.
@@smolensk83now that you mention it, it’s indeed curious that Patrick shuffled beforehand and everything but the Rectors ended up at the proper spot!
