@@TeyvatHistoria Or, what seems a bit more likely, she suffers from some form of psychosis and has been slipping further and further into delusion; believing herself to be this fictional character. Since visions seems linked to intense desire and not Archons this would make sense as to why she was granted one.
@@mattg6106 ...or just she's playing a character, since Fischl is a prime example of a "chuunibyou" character. She breaks character several times around the Traveler - towards the end of the Unreconciled Stars event a while back, various voicelines, even some friendship conversations in the Teapot - so Amy - "Fischl's" real name - is clearly not deluded into thinking that only "Fischl" exists and not the real Amy. Fischl is simply a persona that she puts on to appear mysterious and cool.
@@gladiatrixathena2756 I think the 'clarity' of her just playing a character that appears cool is highly debatable. Especially when you look at and learn about her past with her parents and what appears to be her downward spiral. She never broke from that character enough to prove that she doesn't believe herself to be the Fischl from the stories. It may have been more like a lapse in knowledge which you would expect to find in this sort of delusion since the books wouldn't cover absolutely every detail of the character.
@@mattg6106 I'm not so certain that Amy breaking from her "Fischl" persona can be easily glossed over as filling in the gaps. There's a clear divide between the two - and much like the Raiden Shogun and Ei, the difference is night and day. Take this snippet of Fischl's second Teapot conversation for example:
*Traveler*: Actually, I want to know if anything is bothering you, Fischl.
*Fischl*: Preposterous! I am the Prinzessin der Verurteilung! What mortal follies could venture to imprint themselves upon my psyche?
*Oz*: When I was out on reconnaissance, didn't the new recruits from the Adventurers' Guild joke about you since they couldn't understand what you were saying?
*Oz*: I remember that you were distressed about this, mein Fräulein.
*Fischl*: Nonsense! How could I be perturbed by such trifling antics from my retinue?
Now, if "Fischl" truly believed she were some otherworldly princess and not some girl cosplaying as her favourite fictional character, why would Oz mention that she got hung up on some Adventurer's Guild newbies making fun of her and the way she speaks? Doesn't seem like something "Fischl" would be bothered by, but that's a completely different story for Amy - the girl behind the persona.

I'm definitely building Fischl next. I just love this whole story of her and how serious and funny it is at the same time.

If it is the curiosity and imagination to extends beyond common understanding what serves as the criteria for being chosen by a Vision of specifically the Electro Element, then I know for a fact, if I were to exist in the world of Teyvat, I would be one of the few who got an Electro Vision before the start of the in-game story line. Which is also why I hold the Princess Fischl in utmost respect, as her persective of the world is so trascendental, she managed to be elected by an Electro Vision against the odds.
Tell me, what makes an Electro Vision holder?
@@SilverArgent as far as I'm aware (or the only connection I can make between all known Electro Vision Wielders) is they all have a very "unique" or "special" perspective of the world.
Lisa is in search of the truth about the world, after she read a book that gave her a huge amount of knowledge in exchange for a reduction of her lifespan.
Razor seeing the world almost from a wolf's perspective, or maybe not even wolf or human but a point in between.
Fischl sees the world from a fantasy filter, based on her favorite novel series.
Beidou is a lot more used to the open sea than being on land.

I get what you mean thou but I don’t know if it’s enough criteria for them to get Electro Vision.
Here’s what I think: They’re being ‘different’ or having different perspective is what sets them apart and also what makes people to NOT USUALLY LIKE them because they are somehow DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND. Quite eccentric people. They make decisions that might not raise your eyebrows but they seem to be always RIGHT.
That’s the ‘theory’ I’m trying to uncover or prove. Like what makes them “RIGHT”? If that’s true thou and I can make connection to it, does that mean Fishcl (whatever her real name is) is right? That she is really from other world? That she is a Princess like what she read in the books. Like the “Phantasmagoria” is what will happen in Teyvat just like what happened to thousand worlds she traveresed?
Fischl is in fictional world. But maybe she’s not. And maybe she’s right. And the event with Mona, why is it that it is her? And Mona? And Scaramouche? Fischl said to her voiceline the reason why she conceals her eye is because she seen the truth of “this world”. And she can’t bear to see what she’s seen. What if it’s really Teyvat she’s speaking of? And what if she’s RIGHT? And later on Scaramouche found out the “truth” as well. And maybe becAuse of that he will relinquish his harbinger status and will get a vision which is most likely electro. (we can agree that it will be his vision because he’s different or has different perspective among all harbingers and of course Ei created him)
Well, i still need to prove “having different perspective” but always “RIGHT” is the criteria for granting electro vision. Sorry it might not make sense but maybe I’ll find the connection someday.
@@SilverArgent I definitely never thought about it that way. Specially since most vision holders seem to be oblivious about "the truth of this world". And if they're not oblivious, it's not because of their vision or the element of their vision, but because they experienced something that gave them access to that "forbidden" knowledge (do the 5 Books quest of Enkanomiya to kinda see what I mean).
honestly think Fischl is just a dreamy girl with enough power to manifest her dreams into reality. But I may as well be wrong and there's a much deeper plot to it all.
Still, if it is revealed that your theory is right. I'll make sure to remember where I first heard it from 😊
@@allangarcia9235 also here’s another thought.
We as players (or some), tend to look at Electro visions as weaker element. They say their resonance is bad, their elemental reactions is not that great and their damage is almost inferior compared to other elements (their opinion not mine)
However, based on my theory, Mihoyo/Devs intend it that way. Electros are different, we see it as “unusual” or not as great unlike the other elements and their resonance. That may be true in some cases. But I honestly believe that electros will one day prove that they are not as bad as people think. Raiden Shogun is the start of this “big damage” as she of course is a good representation of electro characters. And I honestly believe that the next electro characters will be regarded as good as the other elements/visions. So they’re being “different” now will change and they can prove that they are “right” - that they are as great as the other elements. Also, I’m already thinking that Grandmaster Varka is Electro because Diluc, Kaeya, Bennett and Eula somehow hinted that he has “different perspective ” or approach to things. If he is indeed electro, i bet he’d be really OP.

So, I studied up and gave these my best effort at giving these appropriate pronunciations.
I’m not natively German, not multilingual, but these are as close as somebody like me is going to get without taking a course to be frank. Maybe one day, but there’s sadly no time for that now.
