They also have their versions of Weinstein.. of that I am sure.
The tribe is comically evil.
When I search for a medieval lute or a Balkan tambura I appreciate a demo that plays the most cliche songs for the instrument - it's easier to check if it's good when listening to familiar riffs in the most common tempo, sustain, dynamics, etc. I think the same logic applies for these Chinese instruments and it's convenient. :)
17.5 mins of WNN?! Worth a news just for that! Keep it up man.
Using Chinese scales and harmonic progressions is racist now?
imagine when chinese people make generic rock with a minor harmonic scale and Asian Weaver goes " OMG why do they playing stereotypical white people music, it's insulting, sounds so american" ;)
I'm curious whether the demo musicians are intentionally using Chinese scales, or if the instrument is tuned that way by default.
No but it's kinda like saying they got a dope new latin horn synth and they play the Mexican hat dance.
@@exileisland2675 I’m not aware of Mexican tuning system or scales, I could be wrong. My point was that it’s a music theory thing…
@@joelp2201your taking this way too seriusly and missing my point. im just saying you can play a Chinese instrument without doing the musical equivalent to "ching chong, ping pong"
dude it has nothing to do w racism 😂 it's just stereotypical traditional music. just cuz it's the most common thing and first thing u think of doesn't make it racisms lol
Yeah this is like calling I IV vi V 'too white,' or IV - V - iii - vi 'too modern Japanese'.
Americans are slaves to the racism
Behringer donated 10k of synths to our local elementary all it took was an email they are special
specially inconsistent I would say. They ride this weird line of stealing (or at least copying) from others and trying to get a halfway decent public opinion on them.
Charity doesn't provide protection from criticism.
@@PocinTheTechthis looks like a description of AI
It wasn’t that simple, Benn Jordan had to call them out on this promise before they made good
You're calling the guy that can see through the bs AI? What does that make you? A bot? @@johntax9400
I was ranting just the other day about the product page for Yangtze, had to scroll down the equivalent of 10 pages to find out what in the hell the samples were based on... Some of them sounded pretty nice, but the base instrument articulations were so similar to EVERYTHING ELSE OUT THERE that I'd rather just throw effects on the ones I already have than bother to pay even $50 for the entire Augmented lineup at discount.
God I love this channel. Tooooo funny as always man.
I've said it before, literally no one else could do a channel like this.
Why is Behringer's logo a severed toe on a slice of pizza?
PizzaGate
Ackshually, it's a severed👂 _ear_ on a slice of pizza…
@@crnkmnky You're blowing my mind right now I auckshually can't believe my 👀
that's hell of a augmented piano
I would like to sample that piano. 😬
Is minor pentatonic on koto plugin razict?
I will send you a very heavy piano 😂 lmao
Behringer hired a developer who was working for Arturia, so they might develop the whole line up of virtual analog emulations.
Where did you find that info?
@@esahm373 Official Behringer video says that company Orastron helped them with the plugin development, and they mentioned Stefano di Angelo. This dude was lead DSP R&D in Arturia at some point of his career.
And it was said in the video that there will be a line up of synths, Vintage is the first one.
@@DmitryPuffin Thanks
HAHA, Knowing you , I knew it was not random Skynet dropout frame :)
16:14 Melly made Murder on my Mind at least a year before his friends were killed. If I remember right they have cameos in the video
So you're saying it was premeditated. 😈
Whats with the huge mental hump you can't get over of someone playing chinese music on a Chinese instrument? Were you expecting Free Bird?
My guess is they just downloaded copyright free chinese midi to showcase how the instrument sounds without having to pay a composer.
I'm curious whether the demo musicians are intentionally using Chinese scales, or if the instrument is tuned that way by default.
Wasn’t really paying attention, but it seemed like Behringer donated heroin to Arturia so an AI of Tupak took some black kids to Guitar Center to get $300 guitars…an’ shit. Fucking crazy times we’re living in.
beringer - davinchi edit - stock preset - film grain
hey do you know top music attorney? probably. but i was wondering if u follow her and have been keeping up with her fight against these distros
@weaverbeats it would be nice to own an actual model d or prophet 5.
You keep saying 'these people don't look like Behringer users', but i have Behringer synth and two guitar pedals, what do i look like? son of a b*ast*rd!
(Liked the thumbnail 🦆👹😇)
Behringer releases a free synth plugin and encourages people to donate to a charity instead and Behringer haters from USA will still complain lol.
The same goes for my piano... :D
The Weaves, Nice Piano!
That Behringer presenter is one of their employees. The other photo is stock with some _Shoping_ going on-Adobe Style. 80s synths sound like that, so if that is cheesy to you then you probably think all 80s synths are cheesy.
Seriously you never heard of the Yangtze? That's the longest river in Asia. There's a very good book you should have read in grade school about rivers, so that you would know these things. It's called _The Yellow River_ by I.P. Freely. He had a sequel called _Rusty Bed Springs_, but it didn't do as well.
Have you learned about pentatonic scales yet? Like on Smoke on the Water? Go play the shorter keys on your Nice Piano. If the preparation you did doesn't inhibit the sound board too much you'll understand why Arturia likes pentatonic scales.
Was that patty in the background??? If you know, you know 😂
i bet weavey got that shmeat, the type to write home about
The type to write an Udio song about.
9:50 they made a Kurtis Conner type beat ahah
Chinese subscriber here🙋 nah she got the names wrong PiPa should be pronounced as Pee Pa not piper😂
Behringer are a scummy company, and low quality crap.
Or not
Used/owned any of their gear from the last few years?
Wrong! Behringer mixers and interfaces are well worth it. Their dynamic vocal mics are great for the price too. I also use the sm57 clone from them on my snare and it actually sounds better than a real sm57. Just not good for guitars.
I need a heavy piano to play some heavy music.
where's my goddamn piano? Do a vio about the Euphoria follow-up.
Hey weaver flip the cam next time so your hat logo reads the right way lol.. i wonder what behringer looks like backward tho lol..
The unflipped image is part of the style i think (matches the ripoff news greenscreen etc)
@@holliefitzzz weaver will address this lol … and the hat with behringer spelled backwards will probably be spelt “raeg yttihs” :)
Im getting an AI weaver to tell me what sucks in the news everyday and what good synths are coming out. XD
They realize it was a great free promo for their artists
Maybe Ableton called Behringer about them ripping off Analog 🤔
Lamar and Drake beef is boring.
Guitar center doesn't even stock anything other than used guitars and casios near me.
The thumbnail made me uncomfortable
Anyone notice the similarity between Behringer Vintage and Ableton Analog, literally copy paste with cringe and a bunch of bugs most likely thrown in
Most of their recent products are copies of shit
Yeah, I think one of the Analog designers called it out. He said they made some sacrifices on the Analog's interface, because it was designed to naturally integrate into Ableton's DAW. The Vintage allegedly plagiarizes those shortcomings, despite being a standalone plugin.
It's not racist, Hommie, that's literally how it sounds :D x
imo vintage is pretty good but not sure why the vst isn't like just the synth it is like a normal plugin in a huge box like a DAW is suppose to be there or something :) Like the sound this makes though, good free vst. As much as you want to be hater, I got to say not only did I pick up vintage but I also picked up a ddx3216 and liking that also. Again liking both these offerings by Behringer... again I think they do provide a lot of gear that would otherwise be out of reach for people, they are providing a service imo especially since I am a broke hobbiest Behringer is great. In fact the ddx3216 feels and sounds good imo. Also vintage provides fairly good sound, and IMO is a quality vst, not cheap at all in feel.
thanks for continuing to hold B to account. why would someone who is downloading a free vst then also donate money? it doesn't make any sense. just an empty promise from them.
Nice. It's weird how y7 keeps on deleting things I say about sunlight, f4r/\/\4, etc. Totally not predictable. Behringer haven't even fucking sent me the headphones they were supposed to send me yet, luckily I got better ones though.
I don’t know. Imagine you release a Latin Horns instrument. What are you going to demo it with? On the other hand, perhaps don’t do La Cucaracha, know what I mean?
Someone needs to explain to Behringer what an init patch is 🤷♂️🤣🤣
Arturia making "stereotypical" melodies. I think because of microtonal music, the way their music theory works makes it that way. For the Behringer, for me that company is somewhat blessing for me. Arturia and Behringer are the only two companies that have affordable stuff for me. Yea, I'm broke af.
100% on trying there and buying elsewhere - unless they can match the better price. I'm in Australia and we have a big store called Manny's, and they'll usually price match a guitar or anything else.
As for $300 guitars, so much of their sales will be dad coming in to buy his kid a cheap guitar and amp. Really, it's the intermediate guitars where value is. The super expensive guitars are usually little to no better. My price limit is $2500 Aussie dollars absolute max, probably about $1600-1700USD. Anything over that is just pissing money away coz the guitar will be no better and sound no better.
Gibson charges huge prices because dumbass guitarists don't understand guitar tone and think they need a $5000 Les Paul to sound like their boomer heroes. People pay Ibanez extreme amounts of money for a Joe Satriani guitar when it's basically no better than a normal S-Prestige. Capitalism for you.
Behringer are the Zionism of music production
LOL that song was so 'oriental'...
for some reason weaver humming the melody fucking killed me
Behringer, were worried people would pirate it! 😂
lols the guy in the new york works for behringer .... ofc he uses behringer hardware ....
11:40 I understand your sentiment, but SPECIFICALLY for guitars - I would NEVER buy online. When you try out a guitar, that is that specific guitar you are trying, even if its "factory-made" there's so many little nuances, it almost feels like you and the guitar choose each other. Yes you can get it set up after, but that magic first moment is like picking out a puppy or kitten. I'm getting emotional over here and I'm a drummer first!
I buy all types of gear online from Thomann. I don't like it, just send it back no money asked
The difference between buying a VST plugin or digital audio interface and an expensive hand made guitar is that you can try ten different units of that guitar model and they will differ. A lot. Unlike the interface. This is why anyone who would be serious about sinking thousands of dollars into a guitar would not order it online without first trying out the one they buy.
I feel confident in claiming this because I used to own and manage the largest guitar store in Scandinavia for many years, we sold 8500+ guitars annually and kept 2500+ guitars in stock with a lot of variety to choose from. I tried pretty much every guitar going through my store, save for the bulk ones, and even after proper setup they all differed enough for someone to skip the purchase if it did not feel like The One and look elsewhere for the same model when it came to expensive instruments. The only comparison is that with a Behringer Xenyx mixer, they all sound exactly as bad as the other one but every 20th unit will piss you off because it shipped already broken, aka playing the "Uli Bingo"...
Although Kendrick delivered a good track, as a diss song I do feel it falls short, because not everyone enjoys to have to pull up lyrics and study what he means pressing play/pause. Drake's track I played twice and understood 95% of it. Sorry as a poetic rapper Kendrick is hella cool, but at writing diss tracks you can hear he's not been doing that often, by the lack of instantly hard hitting punchline after punchline, while Drake has the experience and delivered even though he took on 5-8 other artists beside Kendrick all in one track. So I'll give this round to Drake for holding his own against Kendrick, while still having one hand free to face slap other artists effortlessly. We'll see what's next
LOL Behringer has no way of winning with American youtubers.
As a white in Hawaii i also dont believe in cultural appropriation. 😅
😏
Maybe they’re trying to take Ben up on his offer of redacting his videos
Shield and a tax writeoff. Capitalism is great.
Pale but good.
She did butcher the names, big time.
Drake got bodied
🤣🤣🤣
It's not making fun of them, that's genuinely what Chinese music sounds like. You can view videos on RUclips of their street playing and yes, it's exactly like that. It's just true-to-form. Would you be saying the same thing if someone did a Jazz impression by using only 13th chords? Or made a Japanese anime song using IV V iii vi?
yes
lol comes back to tik tok when it gets banned in the us.
Behringer has been shamed into donating to charity (far from it being "just e-mail" that prompted this - they have been solicited for many years). Even if it were an honest action, you can't make up, in my not-humble opinion, for being a cancer on the industry with no regard for law (despite keeping an army of sleazy lawyers to sustain their horrible, antisocial business model) or common decency. When the company is sold and it starts doing its own damned work (something former employees say they beat their heads fruitlessly against a corporate wall trying to encourage, only to be forced into further "tribute" work) - they should still be avoided, just on principle (any principle, because these guys have none). That company sucks, and no amount of too-little-to-late, heavily promoted "charity" can change its utter state of suckage.
Give money to causes you like because you want to help those causes. Don't buy into sales promotions masquerading as public goods. Give your million dollars because you care, not to get a "free" plugin from a horrible company.
Hey Weaver, they're using Chinese scales on Chinese instruments. You sound like a goof making a big deal out of it buddy.
That it's "impersonal" isn't really the point. It's also impersonal to pay someone to handle your social media admin and pretend to be you, but that's what many (most?) people of her level of fame have been doing ever since social media took off. The moral issue is taking jobs away from those professional impersonators because you don't want to pay them anymore.
Why not both?
@@dc9662 Because it's simply not feasible for all famous people. Even with music stars, they're not all doing the same job. For the highest level, even if they wanted to handle their social media channels, they couldn't
I like cheese.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I distrust Behrengher
Even if I don’t like someone, if he can reliably piss off a lot of self-righteous people then he’s got my baseline respect. If he can do that AND make cheap analog synths then he’s basically an unmitigated hero.
😂😂😂massive hater is back lol
Behringer rules! They have a sense for the poor, and don't do expansive marketing. So on YT they don't sponsor a lot of "influencers". That is actually good for us, but many people don't catch that.
Beginner haters on the wrong side of history
Beginner sycophants on the wrong side of spelling. 😏
