Dimmu, I’ve been enjoying this series as much as the next person. A few things I would recommend me to do. -Look for checkdowns (small yard catches) instead of looking for the big ball with a weaker armed QB. -Try shuffuling holding the LT button while it’s play action. Instead of biting and losing your zone or your man you could give up 2-4 yards instead of 10-15. (Chase and tackle is a great mini game to use with your MLB.) -Making the playoffs will slow down the rebuild. You’ll push everything with the possibility of having a franchise QB to build around. -You can make mid game adjustments if you press down the Right stick and set up matchups for you corners and set zone defence distances. I love the Madden content as much as the MLB stuff. The Vods help me stay caught up on your streams. Thanks for making most of us smile.
Love the series man! Keep grinding and working to get better at usering on defense and you’ll be slappin bots in no time. Part of the reason I kept watching your MLB content is because you were always so adamant that no matter how terrible we as players thought we were you always encouraged us to practice and get better. When you’re down multiple touchdowns, the game is not over. But it’s also not the time to dial up plays that take 5 seconds to develop downfield. Move the sticks methodically and take what’s there. You put yourself way behind the sticks with play calling and running straight back to take a 10 yard sack when nothing was open downfield. Defense didn’t show up when they needed to, which sometimes just happens. But you can always control the offense more than you have been. Stay with it.
The 4th and 10 was a good call. The bad decision was watching the TE right from the beginning and deciding to throw it to him no matter what. Akers had NO ONE around him and the LB covering him reacted late
I’ve watched all these videos. The reason your not causing a fumble when you use the hit stick is bc your pushing the stick towards the play which always chops them low. If you push the hit stick up away from the player you want to hit, it will hit him high and more likely to force a fumble then always chopping the player the way you always do. Just that adjustment will create more turnovers for you. Much love all the content and twitch vids

This is my favorite series. Madden franchise has always had so many things you can do. You should also play owner mode. You get to play the game but also get to set the prices, upgrade or build a new stadium. It is very cool. Someone needs to do this for the Detroit Lions because they have had some troubles being successful through, well...pretty much since the organization was established haha.
When you tackle the qb if you spam the right bumper while tackling theres a bigger chance of a fumble also i recommend trying to get mlb patrick queen from the ravens
Run Block and Pass Block are just general stats. Pass/Run Block Finesse/Power are direct counters to the defensive Finesse/Power Moves, so one set is more general where the others narrow it down
Dimmu when you say that you are backing up to buy yourself time you are actually doing the opposite, especially against superstar edge rushers. What you need to do is not drop back at all when you are in shotgun or even step up slightly into the pocket. you will have more time to throw. You can still rollout but it works better if you 'design' it by double teaming the edge defender on the side you want to roll out on. Still loving the ramchise and seeing you get better though
Ok, so I can’t think of a whole lot to help the defensive woes, but one thing you can try with the corners is in adjustments when your in you d playbook in game, u can set your corners to matchup by overall, speed etc. that may slightly help with the man d not getting torched so so bad. But, love the series regardless keep ‘em comin!
Something you should look into is like getting a back up qb with the mentor tag. It gives the players at that position more xp when you do training and stuff like that, and don't be afraid to use free agency and get a faster wide receiver
To consistently stop the All Madden CPU with this lack of talent you have to cheese the blocking AI by "occupying" an interior lineman and bail into coverage while running blitzes with other guys. Now that probably doesn't make good content nor would it be fun doing the same thing EVERY play but it's what is required. Don't feel bad even the experienced folks Bengal, C4, and Jerome are getting shredded consistently in their series as well. Great vid as always Dimmu it's a good day when the Ramchise is in the sub box.

I'm with you on not pressing. You don't have the CBs who are good enough to press and they do not have the speed to recover if the WR beats them off the press. The only time I would press is if you are backed to your goal line. In that case, if they are beat there isn't much space anyway so they may still get a pass deflection. One tip is, and maybe you are doing it, if you are trying to tip a pass, if you push square instead of triangle to pick it off, the player will try to just knock it down. Some times the defender will extend further because he just has to reach with one hand. Another tip, which you may have also known lol, when trying to block a field goal, if you time speed burst exactly when the ball is snapped, the game will put you in that animation to block the kick. You are pushing the left stick straight down to run across the line of scrimmage at the same time you hit speed burst. Once the game puts you in the animation continue to hold speed burst, but rotate the left stick to run straight to the holder and dive when close enough. All you need to do is trigger that animation and you will block it every time as long as you don't run and dive passed the holder lol. I have done that too hahaha. Easier said than done because you have to hit down and speed burst exactly when the ball is snapped, but that is the sequence how I trigger it.
I just noticed you have open roster spots (at the top of the screen you can see 50/53) so you have 3 spots you can fill. Means you can bring Skowronek up for nothing and sign some backups if you wanted at spots with little depth.
So instead of just run more zone or run more man, this tip might be a little more usable. For instance the 3rd and 11 at 38:00. I'm pretty sure you shaded underneath and that's why the hook zone took that little curl route and left the deep route open. In zone you don't really wanna play underneath you want to make them throw short and come up and tackle. Same goes for your user, prioritize deeper routes in your zone then come up and tackle underneath. A decent strat is to run zone early downs and see if u can get some run stops or short passes. On short yardage man is the best because it's their best shot to make a play on the ball. Throw in blitzes here and there I like zone blitz early in drives so there's guys back in case you get burned to make a tackle. Man blitzes later in drives as you get more desperate. And when you do run man blitzes you gotta get the safeties down closer to their guy or its easy quick throws. If u man blitz on 3rd and long you can also user the man on the rb and use him as a zone defender as its unlikely the rb will get enough for a 1st if u just keep him under tabs slightly They will get cooked sometimes but that's football it will get better as your team improves.
Love the mlbts vids and especially love the fact ur getting into madden. Sometimes my cats come running when they hear ur voice and sometimes pay more attention then me while watching ur vids 😂 but If I could give you a tip dimmu when you play man never press because CB’s always get cooked doesn’t matter the overall of the CB they always get cooked if you play man -Give cushion: triangle/ Y then up on the left stick -play inside: triangle/ Y then left on the right stick -Play underneath: triangle/ Y then down on the right stick -QB contain even if the QB isn’t mobile: hit R1 or RB twice depending on controller I’ve played in a 16 person online franchise for 3 years we do like 3-6 seasons a year and I won 4 SuperBowls and 80% of the time I play man 13% is zone and 7% is blitzing. Also find what ur best corner is good at like zone or man and get similar CB’s so you don’t have one good at man another good at zone and another mid at both get 3-5 CB’s all good at the same thing.
One of my favorite series on YT! If I can give a recommendation, stop running 4 verticals so much lol. On second and medium and thirds look for crossing routes and try to time up outside comebacks. Verticals is tough to complete on all madden
As a Browns fan, I am not heartbroken they wrecked you BUT I feel for you. I agree that Man defense gets you burned bad if your DBs suck... which they do. I usually do a mix of zone and blitz. If my opponent has 2 WRs or less, I use my 4-3 or 3-4 base formation but if they have 3 WRs or more, I am in Nickel or Dime because I need the DB speed. I use the bend don't break mentality. If they chip away at me with bogus 3 yard throws or out routes, I will give them that. I don't know how many times I have bent and then gotten a turnover because the CPU is dumb. However, giving up huge plays always is a kick in the balls. Love your series though. That Garrett fumble made me literally lol. I had that happen in my 32 team franchise and had to hit up discord and be like, "so... they just grab the ball from their hands now?" Anyway, keep up the content! You are entertaining to watch
Loving the series dimmu! I really think controlling the tempo while you’re on offense and putting the tempo in “chew clock” could help the defense and limit points. I agree with the team how it is and the guys the Rams have right now, zone or man doesn’t matter. Press stats aren’t good, man or zone stats are hit and miss. I think controlling the clock and planning smart ball is good for the squad!
39:33 you don’t make many adjustments on defense, especially running zone you have to bring your safeties down so that they run back at the same pace as the receivers not just stand around flat footed also if you have linebackers playing flat zones in certain formations bring them in behind the d line so if it’s a run you have more players in the box and if it’s a pass your linebackers run out to their zone and as they are running they play more of the field instead of starting right at the spot they are supposed to guard and just letting people run by them

Love the series you are pretty keep it going. I too I am casual but that all madden difficulty be cheating at times. I feel like at all pro I still get slap by the CPU but they don't cheat as hard. My season right now am still under .500 but having more fun than when I had it at all madden. Also the CPU is consistently dotting me up at all pro is hard to defend man I feel you. Also love the Colts franchise as well sorry some of the people in the chat are toxic Anthony is a stud don't bench him he will get better and you will get better I believe in you.
If you are looking to do a rebuild, I would reccomend the Pats because they arent in a position to get a top 10 draft pick, but arent also in the position to be real contenders. Its tough because they have a lot of good pieces but not too many superstars. Also Im a pats fan aswell
you should try and trade cooper kupp or aaron donald for different positions you really need, maybe 2 other recievers like 85-88 ovr and a ton of other depth, and maybe a franchise qb.
I don’t mean this in a “overwork yourself” way but is it possible to get daily Ramchise videos?? I love it either way and just in case no one has asked, how are you doing??(mentally ,physically, spiritually)
good franchise what i would do is when u are training work on the lower guys try to make them better and run the ball more when u can u need more speed at wr and need help on front line and need help at cb on dfence and on scouting u want to draft guys with more A on them it will help u out next season i hope that helps you out

You have to hit guys underneath, even for just a couple of yards. Playing Press Coverage, you can cover inside....have you as safety covering over top
Dimmu you need to try using dime defensive more and use your controlled defensive play to guard against the run. Just a suggestion. Love your vids!
