When it comes to the partition of India Dr Br Ambedkar says.. it should be decided by people itself and he justfies it this way...
Like in Hindu religion there are many customs followed by Muslims and most of these customs are against women's freedom and there is caste system too...and this will not be questioned by any of them because they consider it as sin and it's against their own...he also says they see this whole world in two parts "Muslims and non muslims " and their brotherhood is not the universal brotherhood of man , their brotherhood is only for muslim so India will never be their motherland untill they reform and come out from their customs. And he adds , for reformation they need time and partition of India would help in this bcz if they stay here they will never give time for reformation and nobody from them would question their customs as they consider it would devide and it would effect their unity to stand against other religions and also says staying here should be decided them as we r not the ones to decide their wish.
After partition they are given reservation so to ensure that they live peacefully here and given right to practice religion too which is not just for them for all as India is a secular country.
And u gave one example many of the Muslim countries are against "parada system" why is it so..?? Bcz they all are reformed , educated and are able to think its just to control the females and to take off their freedom .
So with all this wt I want to say about current situation is ...they should be allowed to practice wt they want which even our constitution says under article 25 ( only at govt and govt aided institutions) , wait them to reform ,wait for the time where they will consider it's against women's freedom...

Dr Ambedkar was initially not in favour of partition of India nor he had ever advocated partition of India on religious lines. He was an educated person and secular. It was Muslim league who was in favour of partition and creation of Pakistan for Muslims . Jinnah demanded Pakistan for Muslims on the plea that Muslims cannot live in hindu majority india after Britishers will leave. He said that Hindu Muslims are two different nationalities and their culture is different. Communal riots occur on petty issues. Jinnah also proposed that there should be complete exchange of hindu Muslim population to solve communal problem for ever. Dr Ambedkar at this stage had said that partition with complete exchange of hindu Muslim population should be accepted as it is beneficial for Hindus. Patel also endorsed views of Dr Ambedkar. Even Britishers have said that Congress should accept partition with complete exchange of hindu Muslim population to solve communal problem for ever. They have even said that they will facilitate complete exchange of hindu Muslim population in two years and will leave india in june 1948. Gandhi opposed partition and even said that partition can take place on his dead body . At this Jinnah threatened civil war and in August 1946 thousands of hindus were massacred in calcutta by Muslims. Jinnah threatened more such riots if partition proposal is not accepted.
Gandhi panicked and accepted partition but without complete exchange of hindu Muslim population. So due to Gandhi's mistake all the muslims did not leave India and about 3.25 crore Muslim remained in india and now they have increased to more than twenty two crore.
So from above it is clear that Dr Ambedkar favoured complete exchange of hindu Muslim population if partition is to take place. He had never proposed partition. Dr Ambedkar was right in his views. If partition was on religious lines and on the plea that muslims cannot live in hindu majority india then all Muslims should go to Pakistan and non Muslims to come to India.

As a consequence of the Purdah system a segregation of the Muslim women is brought about. The ladies are not expected to visit the outer rooms, varandahs or gardens their quarters are in the backyard. All of them, young arid old, are confined in the same room ; No male servant can work in their presence. Women are allowed to see only their sons, brothers, father, uncles and husband, or any other near relation who may be admitted to a position of trust. The cannot go even to the mosque to pray and must wear burka (veil) whenever they have to go out. These burka women walking in the streets is a one of the most hideous sights one can witness in India. Such seclusion cannot but have its deteriorating effects, upon the physical constitution of Muslim women. They are usually victims to anaemia, tuberculosis and pyorrhoea. Their bodies are deformed, with their backs bent, bones protruded, hands and feet crooked. Ribs, joints and nearly all their bones ache. Heart palpitation is very often present in them. The result of this pelvic deformity is untimely death at the time of delivery. Purdah deprives Muslim women of mental and moral nourishment. Being deprived of healthy social life, the process of moral degeneration must and does set in. Being completely secluded from the outer world they engage their minds in petty family quarrels with the result that they became narrow and restricted in their out-look. They lag behind their other sisters, cannot take part in any out-door activity and are weighed down by a slavish mentality and an inferiority complex. They have no desire for knowledge, because they are taught not to be interested in anything outside the four walls of the house. Purdah women in particular become helpless, timid, and unfit for any fight in life. No good intention. He said the truth. He said muslims cannot live peacefully with other religions. Muslims are loyal to their religion rather than the country and he also said all Muslims should go to Pakistan and all Christians, Sikhs, hindus of Pakistan should come to India. He studied all religions and decided he doesn't want to convert to Islam because he didn't agree to its ideology. He was not that opposed to Christianity but preferred a indo religion(non abrahamic) so he chose Buddhism whose ideology he liked.
