    This is quite possibly the most helpful fashion video I have ever seen on RUclips. My style has always felt like a bit of a mash of things; now I realise that there were definite preferences for a few of these categories, and I now have words to describe them. I think this will really help me to put together outfits more easily and hopefully make better use of my wardrobe rather than resorting to the same combinations all the time; thank you.

    I’m glad you’re talking about silhouettes😊
    No matter your type sometimes we need or want something a little different than our type indicates like for working ( depending on the circumstances of the job) or other functions like a family wedding. Maybe we can reflect our type in different ways such as the color or pattern.

      Kellie Gallagher yes!!! Self representation through person style is not exclusive “your perfect silhouette”. I’m super inspired by the Japanese culture and how they’re very daring with different silhouettes ✨

    How to wear bold colors being a TR? I’m a fan of color blocking but it doesn’t do well on TRs

    • @sattvadevi
      @sattvadevi 5 лет назад +3

      Maybe let the smaller details be in bold colors (like laces, seems, jewelry and other accessories). If you don't want the different colors of your outfit to be in too bold contrast to each other, maybe try a more monochrome color scheme with, for example, different shades of green. From your bold lime green to a more muted, and one really dark. 💚

    They say Flamboyant Natural shouldn't use the geometric print, but somehow I like them black-white-brown

    • @inspiredby624
      @inspiredby624 4 года назад +2

      I think often it depends on color and fabric how a print or pattern looks overall. E.g. on a flowy item a geometric print will look "softer" because the lines aren't as straight as they would be on a stiff fabric. There is always a way to make something you like work for your type :)
