Chico Colina and Fermín collect herbs in the mountain range in front of Santiago. In the Vega Poniente they market their products which play an important role in popular medicine. Chilean scientists who study boldo and quillay tell us about the healing properties of these trees and their importance in Chile's pharmacological heritage. In El Monte Luis Armijo composes bones and tendons with therapeutic precision. In Peyuhue, guided by Patricia Chavarría, we find sanctioners who practice ancient healing traditions of the Chilean countryside.
