Tua also needs to think of every defensive player that'll be going into the game every week wondering to themselves if they're gonna be the one that makes that 'final play' that truly injures Tua..
People are certainly not simply being dramatic when they talk about this decision...but Acho's opener was spot on *for once..to the next person that might have some sense in this situation.. don't play the odds with your life!

Tua will NEVER think health over performance/being an athlete and wealth for his family. Why?
Because we’ve seen how he was formed in his head in that ESPN interview clip of him and his parents. You can just google: Tua + dad + belt.
And then read the Sports Illustrated article that comes up, or look atthat ESPN interview clip. And just know. He was beaten with a belt by his Dad after training, games, if he made mistakes or didn’t perform up to his Dad’s standards. In his teens. Not for being a bad person, a bully, because he hurt others, did not show respect. Because of performance in a sport or practise was not up to Daddy’s standards!?
Because he was primed to become a millionaire athelete in the NFL and seen as the whole family business. You just have to read that SI article, or watch the ESPN clip with his parents. To get how he got to a point where he views things like that now. Sound like that in the presser now. And why probably no one in his family (Mom or Dad) tries to make him change his mind. They instilled that in him.

Tua and the dolphins have let Tua play through clear concussions not thinking about his longevity. I think the issue people have with Tua is hes not improving his safety. Hes not falling right, this last concussion it was super easy for him to slide down but instead he decides to lead with his head? Dude has kids and a family, he just got a guaranteed bag. For those kids having a dad who is full functioning and present in their lives is going to mean more than some extra money. Ultimately, he has to absolutely get serious about protecting himself on the field. His inability to do that, knowing the risks is what frustrates people
