@@sopronunciareglignocchi7255 I go to Arsenal men’s and women’s matches at Emirates one of the largest stadiums in the country and is usefully about 15 mins from home. Whilst there is currently a vast difference in price for a standard ticket, attendances have been higher at Women’s games. I think this would still be the case if prices were the same. Luckily we have many lionesses and indeed Tillies so people want to see them play and of course London probably has more Australians here than in QLD. The quality of football in both teams is remarkably high so both tickets are good value.
I truly believe team success in womens sport is directly proportional to number of queer players on the team. Like Matildas have sooo many queer players. England's Lionesses probably have slightly more hence why they got to the final last year. And OMG I swear all of the Spanish National Team are queer icons. Lol I love that their official song for the world cup was written by a sapphic artist. And I love even more that they won the WC. THE GAYS ARE ALWAYS WINNING.
Straight white middleaged football-hating male here, I do watch womens football and cheer for our national team (Sweden), and has done so since the 90's, and this year for the Matildas since the hype was so big.

Don't get me wrong, men's game is equally amazing but you get the sense that in women's game everyone's just soaking in the amazing atmosphere, the emotion and the growth we've seen during the past few years, makes it extra special.
I am a huge German National Team and Bayern and Wolfsburg fan. Since the World Cup 2023 basically lol. Mostly because of Lena Oberdorf, Lea Schüller, Sydney Lohman, Alex Popp and Laura Freigang. But I am a huge simp for Lena Oberdorf and Alex Popp.
Raso Raso Raso, oi oi oi! I completely followed the same trajectory in 2019 when Haley was on the portland thorns. My lesbian therapist named her dog Raso. We had a load of great aussies that year. We also had foord and carpenter, but Raso was my favorite. She’s so scrappy and fast. And when you learn about how she came back from having a broken back… amazing. Now I’m obsessed with soccer. If you ever end up in portland, I highly recommend making a point to going to a thorns game. The supporters section is awesome.
Hello there, fellow Riveter! I laughed so fucking hard when the BBC aired "She fuckin' jumped into me, you twat" clear as day. Yeah, she probably did! That's our Hayley. Look, if you want sympathy from a ref one thing you should not do is be notorious serial offender Alysha Chapman.
This exact thing happened to me during the 2019 World Cup, I got pulled into soccer not knowing anything about it and because I saw Alex Morgan and Christen Press running around and now it’s my favorite sport lol
I had to wait to watch this until I finished the NWSL matches. Australia world cup was amazing! The Matilda's support, that PK shoot out, and all debutants that did so well, so many fire kits. It was just the best.

It seems like the Matildas have had the same impact in Australia as the Lionesses had in England from the 2022 Euros. Love all of these amazing women. I’ll be rooting for the Tillies at the Olympics in Team GB’s absence.
the womens world cup 2019 is what got me into football like proper, I was a casual fan over the years because I'd catch games every so often but 2019 ... god, that awoke something within me - call me sporty spice because I'm all about it 🤩🤩🤩
Honestly as a big big fan of women's soccer, this video was made for me. I'm from Canada and I feel like our journey as a nation within football is very similar to Australia's. Our women's team is way more successfull than our men's but they're still working towards getting the recognition they deserve worldwide (even after winning 3 straight Olympics medals). Hope we'll get to the same point of popularity and respect than the Matildas have in Australia and worldwide. Keep up the good work, love your videos!
English here, and our women's national team are a lot more successful than our men's team and tbh I'm completely fine with that! (also our amazing Alessia Russo at the end of the vid was a nice touch)
I'm not surprised you're into football now. They don't call it "the beautiful game" for nothing. It has something that hooks you if you pay a little attention. The physical aspect is fine, but seeing really technical players like Fowler herself is a joy to watch. I watch men's and women's football because I love the sport. When it's played well it's an absolute blast. The dribbles and faints, the quick 1-2 passes, the amazing team work, the great goals, the impossible stops from the keepers. All I can say os welcome to the wonderful world of Association Football.
This girl played soccer as a youth.. and so began the addiction to the sport ever since!! So I am proudly with ya here in Canada!!! Bring on the smokin' hot lesbian babes in soccer!!! 🤩😍😂 Thanks for your public service Brianne!!! 😜😉😁
I was at the Matildas v France Quarter Final in Brisbane for the penalty shootout. One of the greatest moments of my life and my favourite time from 2023. I'm a guy and I would go to a Matildas match over any other sporting event.
Alanna Kennedy, Hayley Raso & Katie Mccabe are my fave players. The Ireland v Aus game is so iconic- especially bc my 3 faves interact (even though it's mostly raso & Katie being taken down by each other lmao). I also LOVE Lia Walti (plays for arsenal, Caitlin Foord's ex) and Bunny Shaw (plays for man city, an absolute powerhouse w goals). Have you been watching any more women's footy lately? can we have an updated version of this video? :D
I've watched both Women and Men Soccer/Football and I love both. I enjoy both because they are both amazing to watch! I support the Zambian Women's Football team and I will forever be a Copper Queen Fan!
Just here to say that it’s a CRIME, an absolute CRIME, that the video of Christiane Endler, the Chilean goalkeeper, carrying two of her teammates didn’t make it in this video 😭 hell there’s a video of her carrying 3, I repeat, THREE of her teammates with ease! That was a moment, if you know you know!
Ok idk if you will see this but i actually love womans soccer so much and you asked a few question that i would like to answer for you. You asked who is that at 11:37. That person is Misa she is a goalkeeper for real madrid (where Hayley Raso plays. The first ever Australiaan it play there might i add) and spain. And the girl with the swim cap at 12:30 is Danielle Van Der Donk, who just so happens to be engaged to an Ellie Carpenter. Ellie picked an absolutely massive ring for Danielle. Swedens goal keeper plays for chelsea with sam kerr. Her name is Zecira Musovic. Most just call her Zee, tho. She is very, very funny, she has a little game show thing she hosts for chelseas media called meme girls i recommend watching it.

It has had a profound effect on my life! And I’m sad that I didn’t go to any WC games and it was all so close to me!

Love too see the love for the womens game, after the World Cup. Sad not to see my fav lady Leah Williamson featured but the Katie content is always entertaining.
Football has great terminology. For example, Mary Fowler's style would be called "elegant" and "cultured," which refers to being smooth and having control of your technique. It befits her as a human being too.
As much as I love the Matilda’s, I will always be a USA fan. The 99ers (1999 World Cup team) will always have such a special place in my heart. Like fr if you wanna learn more abt the team read Briana scurry’s book. It’s sooooo good

What you're forgetting is that the ticket prices are far lower for women's football than men's (at times they even give them away for free). Also, I find the claim that women's football matches are outselling men's football matches to be dubious.
I remember watching that Australia vs. Ireland, constant battles between Raso and McCabe. Also, I love how you see the passion and joy of the players, the fans and the pundits in women's football.
HAHAHAHAHAAH I HAD A GUT FEELING YOU WERE GONNA USE MY TIK TOK OF KENNEDY AND LE SOMMER WHEN I SAW YOU FAVOURITE IT 😂
The absolute honour 🫡
I think Kiwi’s had the same feeling towards the tillies in the world cup. it’s like seeing your sibling succeed. I had all the same emotions
Love this my friend was on FaceTime and we watched it together, we could not shut up we were laughing so much. Thx it was a video. Keep doing what you’re doing it’s amazing Bud.
It seems like the Matildas have had the same impact in Australia as the Lionesses had in England from the 2022 Euros. Love all of these amazing women. I’ll be rooting for the Tillies at the Olympics in Team GB’s absence.
I've been so obsessed with woso since the euros omg I'm so happy that you are doing this video
the womens world cup 2019 is what got me into football like proper, I was a casual fan over the years because I'd catch games every so often but 2019 ... god, that awoke something within me - call me sporty spice because I'm all about it 🤩🤩🤩
Honestly as a big big fan of women's soccer, this video was made for me.
Kek
English here, and our women's national team are a lot more successful than our men's team and tbh I'm completely fine with that! (also our amazing Alessia Russo at the end of the vid was a nice touch)
Russo is all woman! A hot female with Sicilian blood coursing through her veins, she is no dildo Queen!!
If you didn’t know this Danielle van de donk the one with the swimming cap is engaged to Ellie carpenter
The one at 11:37 is misa (maría rodriguez) she plays for real Madrid and is spains goalkeeper :)
Brianne drooling over Mary Fowler is the top-tier quality content i came here to see.
im 5 seconds into this video and i can already tell you i have most of these videos saved already
the earliest I've ever been in my life love u Brianne
WE NEED MORE OF THIS
I've watched both Women and Men Soccer/Football and I love both. I enjoy both because they are both amazing to watch! I support the Zambian Women's Football team and I will forever be a Copper Queen Fan!
Mary Fowler deserves so much more game time that Manchester City gives her, same for Kyra Coony-Cross at Arsenal (coming from a Chelsea fan)
Finally got your reaction to women’s football!
I did not know. Thank you for the explanations. Context adds a lot of value to these.
IT'S ALWAYS the GK'S. My awakening was Macca vs France.
Couldn't like this video more! I was tearing up rewatching all the Cortnee Vine penalty shots...again
THANK YOU FOR INTRODUCING ME TO WOMEN'S SOCCER
this (explosion of women's soccer in Australia) is fascinating and so awesome
Another low budget shit show classic ✊😆💖. I can just see Brianne up against Mary Fowler on the field & any memory of what she had to do would disappear in an instant the second Brianne locked eyes on Mary ❤️🥰❤️
Such a good quote "Not all men, but always a man"
as a straight male fan of woso I am constantly categorised by the algorithm as a lesbian, so I thought wth just go with it, and yes I agree that Fowler is a) very good at football and b) hot
I’m so glad you explained! Sitting in Norway and am now a soccer fan ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
This is EXACTLY the video I needed thank you! 🙌 The power of seeing queer women in such a mainstream space where they're not there just to be sexualised is so refreshing
i am fully straight and the only sports i have ever been interested in are gymnastics and diving. but this world cup also got me fully invested in soccer i’m so obsessed with the matilda’s now and have watched every game since i just think they are so fun to watch! fell in love with their team spirit and love all their personalities
You should follow the UWCL! Its a good timing, this weekend barça-chelsea!
the girl with the swimming cap is Danielle van de Donk she`s from the netherlands and an amazing player and person! After that match she got a shirt from someone with her face on it where she was wearing the cap it was such a funny match. You should look into her shes funny cute and amzing player
DVD is also the fiancee of Ellie Carpenter, as well as her teammate at Olympique Lyon Feminin.
Happy to be the love of your life. Twice. Appreciate you. And this video 😅🫶🏻
Congrats and thank you for helping Brianne bring us those videos.
@@ireallyreallyhategoogle it's my duty, really.
I never related to the "what red flags are you attracted to" thing until I saw Emily Gielnik laughing in the middle of a physical altercation with another player.
This is me, i have never been into sport and I casually watched the WC but after we lost to England I started looking into the team etc. Fast forward to today and I am obsessed, I’ve watched all the Tillies games, I follow Chelsea in the WSL and I’m going to Melbourne to watch Arsenal women play.
It has had a profound effect on my life! And I’m sad that I didn’t go to any WC games and it was all so close to me!
please support a womens a league team aswell
I love female soccer, female cricket and rugby league.
And Union.
Sam Kerr played on our local NWSL team in Jersey and I will never not be mad that we traded her to Chicago. LDV was another rockstar like that. Love the Matildas.
11:36 that's Misa Rodriguez, Real Madrid (and Spain) goalkeeper ☝🏼🤓
The thing that really makes me happy about women football is rhat the studios are now getting full of people❤
im distracted by the flaming jumper, it's very cool and i must find one
i just realised it's giving lightning mcqueen >:3
Hi from South East London.
I think they are now allowing some straight Women to play,as well...
it makes me so happy to see tobin heath here, even if it's just 0.0000001 second
mccabe is a card collector thats the point .. no yellows is like saying ... no food today katie
Love too see the love for the womens game, after the World Cup. Sad not to see my fav lady Leah Williamson featured but the Katie content is always entertaining.
Zećira Mušovic (the Swedish keeper) is also a Chelsea goalie and another not so known fact about her is that she’s also my wife
Football has great terminology. For example, Mary Fowler's style would be called "elegant" and "cultured," which refers to being smooth and having control of your technique. It befits her as a human being too.
The FIFA World Cup last year was a fever dream
Oh the girl who had the swimming cap was Emily Van donk, who is Ellie Carpenters fiancée!
you've taken cool to the next level with your ending 2 mins
Zećira Mušović is the best ❤ the Swedes did a great job at the world cup but she was really the key to our success! ❤
As much as I love the Matilda’s, I will always be a USA fan. The 99ers (1999 World Cup team) will always have such a special place in my heart. Like fr if you wanna learn more abt the team read Briana scurry’s book. It’s sooooo good
Haven’t been this early ever 😂🙏🏽🙏🏽🫶🏽
I hadn't seent his coming but I am happy. When two not-so-different worlds collide!
The angry in sports I can relate to!
It's why I always preferred NHL for the aggression that's in the game itself
If there is a god, how come Guro Reiten's left foot has never asked me out?
As a straight male- how could you not like Women's Soccer. Not to be weird but all your points in this video are valid. And the skill level in the womens game has grown exponentially. Win win
"It's like watching a f*cking ballerina but with a soccer ball" - this is the definition of soccer omg you get it.
You should start reacting to women’s volleyball games. There’s a lot of lesbian tea and also the players are amazing
low key never have liked soccer but after this my mind has clearly changed and my respect is +100
What about the other women's sports? Hockey, Aussie Rules, Derby etc....
