In 1972 I made the Phelan widowmaker on a 360 Yamaha. Then in 1974 i got a Honda CR250 now that thing would just haul ass up the hill in 3RD no problem and we never used that trail on this vide. We would just start at the bottom and take off.
I would suggest using the bikes power band dude. Your shifting too soon and not winding the gears out enough which is cutting your bike off by the legs basically. That two stroke needs to scream!
If you mean the area under the 15 Freeway, yes. But, it's probably 20 minutes of riding depending on how fast you take the single track parts. You'll have to head north from the staging area, under the freeway, up onto the ridgeline. Then follow the track west to this hill climb. There's plenty of places to park much close if you're looking for an unloading spot.
The actual, genuine Widowmaker is located next to I-15 above Draper, Utah and ran from 1964 to 1988, with the first guy finally going over the top in 1970.
Surprisingly it’s harder to hit that hill after it rains. The dirts way better after it rains on the average but not there, for some reasons my friends and I can barely do it after it rains
Ya I know. It’s just funny that of all the hills out there the actual widow maker is the easiest hill to ride up. The one in this video is significantly more difficult.
One of the best I've seen! Happy you made it!
Thanks 🙏🏻 it took a while but I finally made it 😂😂

Where is the widowmaker i tried to find it but i can't find it
Its in Phelan by the cafe at the top of the 138. You can actually see it as your going up the 138 on the right before you get to the cafe
@@ExtremeSportsWannaBes okay thank you so much i appreciate it

Sounds like a cool run
Can you park at the cafe the big open lot next to it? To ride these hills?

Haha back in the early editing days when I though 10x the footage was better. 🙄
The widow maker is the one across the way. Not that
