When best had the ball at his feet even just that alone was great to see, especialy when he just stopped and walked with it. Becouse you just didnt know what he was going to do next! Like he would chip a goal keeper from 27 yards out and score, or he would hit a long 60 yard pass with any foot right onto the players foot. Or when a player tried to tackle him he would just step to the side then go past him as if he wasnt there, he made the game look so good to play. And very easy. But it is anything but easy. When i played i would wonder how did best make that look so easy?
Bulova keeper is Barry Daines (ex-Spurs) Red No 10 Tommy Hutchison, Red No 14 the late Clive Heywood, and the guy that George Best beats to the ball for the first assist at 30 seconds is my old friend and teammate the late Dave Anderson who we all knew as "Lobie". Wonderful guy. It's a shame George didn't stay longer in Hong Kong.
