I felt like my heart didn’t matter, and my emotions were a burden to carry and so I crammed them down into the depths of me. When I encountered Christ at 19, He opened up the floodgates. 😅 i’m so grateful that I am able to cry, not only for the things that I get emotional about in my life, but the Lord has softened my heart to be empathetic towards others too. Something that I never imagined I’d be able to do. I’m so grateful for the gift of tears, because those tears keep my heart soft and are caught by the one true God each and every time.

I think for a lot of us, we don’t mind doing that but when it becomes abusive or toxic it can confuse us to think we’re not a good Christian if we don’t suffer through abusive situations. The enemy of our souls is responsible for inflicting us pain and suffering but it’s not happening without God’s allowing him to; However, remember the story of Job, God only allow Job to go through all the trials to show proof to satan that some of us serve God no matter what He allows our way…pray on, endure with the savior rescuing you…one day He will bring it to pass…I’ve been in your shoes, my deliverance did not happen yet, but I’m in a better place understanding why He allows me to go through the fire…He IS right there with us.
