The Book of Daniel is a clean fiction it is not historical, it is intended strenghtened the Jews faith in their God , Yahweh, in the face of the persecutions inflicted by the Hellenistic King Antiochus IV Epiphanes who ruled in the second century BC, while the setting for Daniel was 6th century BC, Daniel was written in the second century. Claiming that Jesus is related to Daniel is streeching the narrative too far , Firstly, as the Book is a fiction, there is no Daniel ,if there was, he belonged to the tribes of Judah , the claim that Jesus was born in Bethlehem and thus fall under Judah is hotly contested, most scholars assert that Jesus was born in Nazareth and therefor not of Judah. There us no archeological or direct historical evidence that Moses existed.
