Marvel rivals is in that moment of pure bliss that overwatch had when it first came out, nobody cares whats meta or what strats to use, nobody cares if its balanced or not its just fun. But eventually some basement trolls will realize whats op and what isn't and they will destroy the fun by using the most broken comps or something and evrybody will be forced to do the same if they want to win
Yea but sadly every single multiplayer/competitive game will always end on that, like FightersZ Where you see the same 3 characters every single match and they dont have counters aside of the same character, or Titanfall where every sweat picks the same weapon that instantly deletes you, or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe where you see 12 Teddy Roller Yoshis all bagging right away instead of racing in a racing game.
yeah but as far as i can see the balance doesn't look completely broken, and the synergy system makes for a good way to not have a set in stone meta.
It kinda comes with the territory of competitive games bud. Lol
"How does he have Bongo already?" Because Rocket can hold down his healing balls button and just shit out healing as long as its near someone, bonus points for peppering enemies.

One thing I haven’t seen people talk about too much apart from Jeff the landshark is the voice lines in this game. They’re fucking awesome and the VAs have done good work

One thing I would like them to do that overwatch does is have the enemy team say something different when they ult. Hearing the same thing being shouted on both sides makes it so that you don’t know if you should be scared or not.
venom looks like a sort of wrecking ball equivalent, good movement, self sheilds(no team defence things) and just the playstyle of going in trying to get a kill and then getting out and rinse and repeat

I don’t know if we can technically call this the Overwatch killer, since it never really lived in the first place. But jokes aside this will be good enough on its own and the fact that 2 of my favourite marvel villains have been added already Venom and Magneto, I’m already sold
In marvel rivals if you have good healers you will stay alive alot but if you have bad ones…..💀

Does venom's ult one shots if someone is directly underneath him?
From what I've seen, I don't think it can 100->0 anybody, and Flats said it does 50% of an enemy's HP + 40

Overwatch needs to copy the team-up system. It makes you naturally gravitate to synergies. Teamwork is rewarded for both selfish and selfless reasons.
