I've always enjoyed Huey Lewis and the News' music and even as a teen/young man in the 80s. It gladdens me further to see that their Hearts of Rock and Roll are still beatin' after all these years. I appreciate Huey Lewis' deep, comforting voice in this good interview:)
Huey you dont know how special the sound of the band is " Her love is killing me " sounds like its from the 80s what a tune... please keep them coming ... When I seen back to the future when I was a kid and heard "Power of love" "Back in time " I'm still hooked to this day best 80s band by far thank you for everything.
Sometimes Bad is bad........She was. Right down to the note & the strange pair of shoes. I was dating her 10 years after "Sports" was a smash. Whenever I hear that song, I can see her and hear her. She was hot. That song keeps memories alive. Even though it didn't work out, I wouldn't trade those days for anything.
I like the comment below that music is a universal language - very true. Another one is math, the language of nature. I always related to it as a healing force. The screamer stuff, though, I don't know...seems somewhat afflicted. But I wouldn't take away from anyone's preferences or right to listen - to each their own. I just want to be in the camp that survives and promotes life. Not ready to cash in my chips yet 🙂
