Well ima side with dream his side is more fun.
This episode has me more excited to see what happens next, Eryn learning more about those who have been turned into monsters over the centuries. The fact that Wilbur and Jack "still have a chance", considering how both them and some other characters don't have those black streaks down their eyes or shackles like some of the other victims leaves me to think they still have more free will due to not being monsters for as long as the others. CPK, Aimsey and Kristen finally meeting Eryn was cool to see too.

I've noticed that the most recent victima don't have a chain around their neck. Which probably means they can still be saved. Although it seems Jack and Wilbur don't have much time left. I love this so much good work

Yeah. The most recent victims have white eyes, no tears, and no chains around their neck. Jack and Wilbur don't have a chain around their neck or tears, but they do have black eyes. It may show that they don't have much time left.

I love this series. All of the details and hints. Jack and Wilbur had black eyes, but no tears or neck shackle yet, unlike the others. The recent ones changed (Tommy, Tubbo, Boomer, and Tina) have white eyes. Makes me think that Jack and Wilbur are close to being lost, like what Eryn writes down at 2:50. Maybe it takes a year for the transformation to completely sink in?
On another note, I found a song that fits this AU pretty well if you were seeing it from Aimsey's/CPK's perspective.
"Leave a Light On," by Tom Walker.
I see it as how Aimsey found CPK and the song continues as they deal through not being believed and CPK's odd visions and such, ending with CPK seeing flashes of Tommy, Tubbo, Boomer, and Tina being changed and knowing that Eryn survived.
Just a headcanon, of course. :D

It seems like there's a time limit for the ghosts to be saved, as Eryn wrote 'Still a chance for Wilbur and Jack', and they were the most recent to be turned before Tommy and Tubbo. What will happen to those who can't be freed should they manage to free the ghosts (assuming the method that saves them releases everyone)? Im quietly hoping they pass on peacefully, some of them are 100+ years old after all.

If the souls of those trapped within the forest can talk to Eryn, what are their bodies doing while not hunting for people? Do they just lay there till Dream calls them to action? (Also, I love that you can see a difference between older spirits and the more recent ones. Great touch!)
They're just shells/puppets on strings. The souls are trapped in those.

I love the backstories to all of the character's deaths and transformations into the creatures that they are now. I love the character designs, and the locket with Mumza at the end, that made my heart melt. This and the last chapter really signifies that they aren't monsters, they're just trapped souls controlled by Dream to get more souls, and they just want to be set free from his grasp. This is a very interesting AU and I love it!! Great work as always!

Ahhhh, so there is a time limit...right. Of course it makes sense they've been kept alive for 100+ years because of the curse. Hopefully the team will save the people who are affected. I REALLY LOVE THIS ANIMATIC! I enjoy following this AU it gives and seeing how the story comes together 💙

Well, I think it's the amount of time they've been under the curse. Like the black eyes with tears means they are dead (humans live up to 80-100 years) they are living through the monster and the curse is keeping them alive. The black eyes mean they have been under the curse longer..... White means they are newly cursed.
Well think about if they are dead....they are trapped souls and nothing to linking them back to the real world, so that probably why they have chains around their necks and wrist. The people who have chains only around the wrist are still in the real world and are not dead.... So they can be saved.
That's what I think and I am sorry if it doesn't make sense.
Ahhh it’s too good!!!! The music, the drawings, everything was perfect! It really hit me emotionally when Mumza took the pictures of Phil and Techno. There is now so much mystery and I can’t wait for the next chapter! Amazing job!

I still like the concept of the MCs mostly being online influencers posssibly playing themself to a degree, they all know eachother irl, so if course they would interact and the synnergy just feels more real.

@@Grimmijaggers No no, I get that. My apologies, this is a bit of poor explanation on my part. This is just my thoughts I had when I first saw your vids, before I read the UA. Obviously the characters are based on the real world but altered, but I originally thought the characters being "the real ones" is a nice plot hook. You have all these movies like Blair Witch or Grave Encounter 1&2 where wannabe paranormal investigators get dragged into some paranormal bs but we never see much of the aftermath. Assuming that these groups of paranormal investigators have some connections between eachother, onje can assume they will react to the dissapearence of one. Maybe they will ignore it, maybe they follow up with their own investigation and potentially get in the same kind of danger. Your haunted forest is like the epitomy of this cycle. Over the centuries some folks disappear, the townsfolk try to potential cover this up, this is gonna attract investigators, like in this case Wilbur & Co. or maybe others. Now given the fact that Willbur knows some folks, they may start looking for him after prolonged radio silence after he said he's gonna make a video about _insert haunted forest_ with some other people. Sry, this is basically me rambling about a really interesting Alternate Reality series concept I'd watch the hell out of, because I like the idea of these RUclipsrs we know play an alternate version of themselves, this has mostly nothing to do with your AU. Like, a charcter similar to Tommy could be the MC, an aspiring content creator who moved to the town, having the secret motivation of finding "Willbur". The Tina character could be a resident streamer who the MC befriends and potentially has knowledge about the local legends. Aimsey's and CPK's news page gave me the idea of two survivors from a vlogger group; while Aimsey develops into this kind of kick-ass, emotionless person intent on ending whatever is going on, while CPK went crazy. Eryn somewhat reminds me of a stereotype of the "friend" of the MC, in this case some kind of colleague who moved with him. They actually don't known eachother that long, and his character is mostly focused on making jokes on the situation and the weird sh*t going on and he's likely to eat dirt at some point in the story. Once again, this is just me excessively rambling about my ideas for another possible AU I got from your lovely work, don't mind me :3.

After reading the stories and re-watching all the videos now I feel so much for Dream's original victims. Like they've been trapped for centuries. They've had to watch all these people be trapped and see so many people be hurt. I especially feel for Callahan. Man just wanted to do his job and be respectful to the dead before leaving town and he got punished for it

Aahhhh!!! This is so good!!! I love Aimsey, CPK and Kristin coming to see Eryn!!! Seeing mumza sad over Techno and Phil makes me wish they could be saved too but it looks like only Jack and Wilbur can be along with Tubbo, Tommy, Tina and Boomer. Also really like the tear tracks on their faces like the kids in fnaf, its crazy how many of these fnaf songs fit.
the tear tracks was directly inspired by the fnaf kids, I felt that if I was using fnaf songs so much I might as well take some inspiration from the fnaf lore :D

I love this so freakin much. Also I love how from an outside perspective you could rationalize Eryn's behavior by saying he witnessed something traumatic happen to his friends and he dissociated and his mind came up with this story instead. Meanwhile poor Eryn is like not please this shit is real. The panic and pain you got across in their facial expressions is amazing. So excited to see what the plan is and to see if Mumza is an actually an old lady under that hat.

She's 'more' because she's connected to Philza and actively looking for him and Techno. But she's still just human and alive

I am so happy I was home alone while watching this because I am making some unholy sounds of excitement, this is so epic XD I literally screamed and started clapping when the video ended, every new episode gets me so hyped and makes me look forward to what comes next even more! It really keeps me on the edge of my seat, and draws me into the story like the characters are drawn into the woods hehe. I’m so excited to see what the future of this AU will hold and I wish I could better express in words how much I love this ^^

I'm so mad I got a notification so late. Despite this, as usual, this is so awesome! I've had some of my questions answered and I'm so glad we got to see Kristin! Though it is interesting that he knows who he can and can't save while also knowing how long he has left,! The conclusion feels very close.
Rewatching the series and rewatching this made me realize that those without black eyes and tears can't be saved. Nice detail.

While rewatching I noticed that there are less chains on those recently turned (Wilbur, Jack, Tommy, Tubbo, Tina and Boomer) there's also note saying that there's still hope for Wilbur and Jack. Also the eyes for the latest 4 are white while everyone esle's are black. Is there any connection? Does it mean that those turned not too long ago can still be saved and maybe turned back?

If the book is destroyed, maybe everyone will go back to normal. Or maybe some of them will die...? Aaaaah! The story just gets me thinking.
