Andrew Cumming That’s not what it means. Third-year players play this, meaning they’ve played for three years.

Alexander & Andrew you are both WRONG. Julia is CORRECT. Music "Grades" (or Levels) are the rating of the DIFFICULTY of the MUSIC ITSELF. Level or Grade 1 being the easiest. Level or Grade 5-6 being the most difficult. It has nothing to do with how many years a person has played or what "grade" the players are in.
