This is just what I needed to hear. I feel wounded, hurt, alone, forgotten and sad right now, but remembering that Jesus still loves me even with all of my mistakes and imperfections and that He knows that which I don't share with anybody, fills me with hope that after all, I'm not alone.
Amen! And THAT'S our TRUE source of happiness.. I wish certain people would REMEMBER that and save themselves the heartache of wanting everyone to be their friend🙏🏼👍🏻💞🫂

"...the dusty road of mortality..." What an apt description. I'm traveling the road alone now that my husband has suddenly, unexpectedly traveled on to the next life, but my ward has been the Good Samaritan to aid me in my grief. How I love their manifestations of Christ-like ministering!
Hi Jeannie, You are in my prayers. Remember that God loves you so very much! Your husband is still very much alive in the spirit, and is a part of your life. You can live with God and be with your loved ones, including your husband if you are faithful to God here in mortality. God bless you Jeannie!
Matthew 11: 28 ¶ Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Thank you for your beautiful true doctrinal message, Elder Gong. I pray we will all do our part as disciples of Jesus Christ as we await His glorious return. ❤️❤️❤️
God be thanked for the gift of his son. I felt the holy spirit yesterday testify of gods love. Elder Uchtdorf said, what if god came into your homes tonight? He would see you as you are, and love you. I felt that right now who I was god loved me, and he is trying to help me become a better husband, son, father and friend. God be thanked for the matchless gift of his loving son.
Beautiful ! I know that I am a child of God (85 years) and that Jesus Christ has done for me, things that I could not do for myself. I need the good Samaritan in my life and Jesus Christ has/and is the ONE.
3:09 - 🙏🏼🥺💙 At times, especially as of late, I am very hard on myself. But I know that as I turn to the Savior He will succor me in my time of need & help me to become better. As I share my story, He helps me to help others & be less Judgemental. He is my Rock & my Salvation!
This is what I needed to hear. My testimony of the gospel has been shaken by things that I have seen and heard. It has made me question my membership. All this and yet my heart longs for the Savior, and longs for the time when my testimony was so simple... so sure. I know that I love this gospel, and the people that I have journeyed with so far who are also members have a huge place in my heart. I love them all completely. This video has helped me clarify things about my membership. I still have questions, but I knowingly put them on a shelf and submit myself to God and his church.
We need everyone's perspective. Your journey is valid, and known to our loving Father in Heaven. I think when we have questions and we "Doubt our doubts before we doubt our faith" as Elder Holland puts it, and we humbly still seek to hear His voice in our lives and wait patiently... eventually, our understanding expands. Some have to work harder than others to be believing, just like some people have to work really hard to excel in school while others understand things easily. It's not detrimental, just shows that our differences are known to God, and allow us to have a unique perspective, and come to the orchestra of believers and add our part to make this life beautiful. I am grateful you are still hear, and you shared this glimpse into your journey. I think it is healthy to have questions, so long as we seek after truths and remember God, who is the source of all truth.
Wish I had a written account of this insightful message, so inspiring, just want to share with non-members, inmates, etc.! It was beautifully done ......Thks. Elder Gong.
As a member of Christ church I love service I love being kind I love all his creations .Jesus Christ is the example all of us should wanna follow I love to give my last I love to feed someone hungry it does something to myt soul even though Satan does his part through others to stop the blessing but what is Satan to heavenly father. I love the gift of helping giving and loving other's makes me happy who doesn't love smiling
im feeling worthless unwanted and forgotten... by family, church members and God. Sometimes I would rather no longer be here... Listening to this , hearing this ... it was not new... but I felt peace. Is there really hope for me?
Hi Mark, it is easy to become discouraged when we witness such sadness and tragedy in the world, but we can find hope and peace through the gospel of Jesus Christ. He has overcome the world and taught us to be of good cheer! See the link below for a great BYU devotional about how we can find strength through the grace of Jesus Christ to carry on despite our challenges: speeches.byu.edu/talks/camille-fronk/world-shall-have-tribulation-be-of-good-cheer-overcome-world/
Mark, God will never forget you. He loves you so much, He paid an incomprehensible price so that he can love you and care for you and be there for you. He is always there, even when you can't feel Him. You are not alone in your trials, nor your feelings. For many, many years I felt hopeless and worthless. I hated myself. I did not want to be alive. For years and years, I could not feel the Holy Ghost. I felt so, so broken. It has taken me many, many years, and I can't share all that I have learned in this comment. But I have learned that God can work miracles with broken things. I have learned that we were meant to be broken--because it's when we are broken that we truly realize just how much we need God. I used to think that because children are without sin, that meant that we came to earth perfect--just as we needed to be. And that the goal was to return to God with as few mistakes as possible. But if we were perfect before we came here, why come in the first place? No...we were without sin, but we were not yet perfect. This life is hard. It will break us. But when Christ puts back the pieces, we aren't going to be the person we once were. And thank goodness for that! We are going to be something better, something that is stronger, that is wiser, that is more understanding. We will be better, not just despite our brokenness, but because of it. (I love the Japanese art form of Kintsugi, because I think it illustrates this principle beautifully.) It may take a long time before you can see that. That's okay. It took me over ten years before I could start to see God's hand in my life. I hope that part of your journey is a bit shorter than mine was, but if it isn't, just hold on. Don't give up. It took me so much pain and so much darkness and so much heartache, but finally, finally, I have found hope. I have found peace. I have found love. I have found hope. I have found joy. (Please don't mix up joy with happiness. Joy is something much deeper than that. And it's something that is not an antithesis of sadness. As hard is can be to do it, joy is something that can be felt along with sadness, because it encompasses hope and trust in God and love. Feeling sad is not a bad thing. Even Christ wept.) And if God loves someone like me, I know that He loves someone like you. He will NEVER give up on you, so please, don't ever give up on yourself. Or God. You are strong. You are a fighter. You can hold on. God loves you. He will not let you go.

As I listened I could not help but contrast His inn and His home with the great and spacious building. There is plenty of room in both; the key is holding fast to the iron rod, finding joy and not being ashamed.
A wonderful reminder for us , that He knows all our imperfections yet still loves us. We are striving to become like His Son,so we should forgive ourselves when we don't get things quite right, and then keep trying. Thank you for you service and inspired words Elder Gong.
