I'm disabled so I'm at home. Now I'm not wheelchair bound or anything, but I was just praying this morning about my energy or lack there of. I asked the lord to help me get the things done in a day that I am capable of doing. They say eventually I will be in a wheelchair. But my God says I'm healed. I struggle daily with decorating and cleaning the home we just bought and moved into. I'm notorious for staying in my pajamas!! So you hit it right off the bat with me by stating to get ready!! I havent been able to sleep in my bed for over two years. I broke my vertebrae over 2 years ago. And we need a new mattress so desperately, but until we can afford that, I've been sleeping in a recliner. My bed causes me to be unable to even stand after sleeping on it. Any way, thank you so much for this video. It has helped me more than you know!!

Yes I agree, I take mental note when I clean, I start in one room and work around the house (1 room at a time). I find it is much easier 💪 get it done. Hi Sweet Amy - I loved this video. I really needed some motivation today. I love that you get ready everyday. Before the pandemic I always did that. Friends would call and want to do something and I was always ready but it seem like now I am only getting ready when I know I have something to do out that day. You are right though if I am not ready and in lounge clothes or pjs I am not as productive. I switch back and forth on my cleaning. Sometimes I go and clean all the glass and mirrors in the house or sometimes I just stick to taking care of everything in one room. I go to the pool from 6:30 - 9:00, 5 days a week. When I get home I shower and eat breakfast and watch RUclips for a while. Then I will start my day. I noticed during the pandemic when the pool was closed I got lots more done but I love going to the pool. A bunch of my friends from church go and we have so much fun visiting and exercising but I am tired when I get home and have to rest a bit and that gets my day off to a slow start. Today I need to do some cooking. I am trying to get my freezer down low since it is hurricane season. Yes, I would like to see you try on clothes that you bought. I ordered a cute red top that I wanted to wear to church this Sunday for July 4th and its on the way but has not come in yet. I am totally like you about letting all the light in. The whole back of my house is glass and I always get all that open for the day. It’s so hot here in Texas and I know it would be better to leave the blinds and curtains closed but I just hate it. My daughter Rebecca and her husband are always struggling with her wanting everything open and him wanting everyone closed. We always had every open and bright here but his mama always liked everything closed and dark. All of us girls in my family are major list makers too. Rachel came over yesterday with her two dogs because they are getting all new windows at their house and the dogs were going crazy. You will remember they just got their floors refinished about a month ago. I know I will watch this video again. Thanks for putting out such a good product. Love you sweet friend and I have you and your family covered in prayer.

@@SimplyRHome I just took a bunch of chicken out of freezer. I will cook it all and divide it into packets since I live alone. Some I chop for chicken salad, some I shredded for tacos or quesadillas. That makes it easy for me just to pull a packet out for a meal. That’s so sweet for you to take a lasagna to your parents house. I know they will appreciate that. One time for Mother’s Day the girls came and prepared a whole bunch of freezer meals for me. It was great. When Rebecca was home from the hospital from having Rachel one of my gifts to them was meals for a whole month. She loved it. She got married before she finished her degree from college so a few years back she was going back to finish and I did the same them. It was a joy to me and they loved it. I am not sure what kind of dogs Rachel has. They are little dogs, some kind of terrier. She loves her animals so I have to love them too. Anything for my grandchild. My girls would not believe how I let her eat popsicles on the couch when she was little. When they were little, I made them sit in the bathtub in their underwear to eat popsicles. HA! It’s all different with grandchildren.
That is a really great idea to do packets to pull out for different meals!! That has to be so convenient for later!! Lots of work today, but well worth it when you're starving and don't know what to make!!! I also will have to remember that for a gift idea!! Haha...you sound so much like my Mama. She always was so particular. Although with my kiddos she lets that fly right out the window....like eating in the living room, not taking off their shoes once inside, dessert before dinner and so many more... Hi Amy Another Friday has arrived!! Where do the weeks go. I have really enjoyed all your tips this week. I to like to get dressed and ready for the day with the bedroom made and tidy to start the day. I write a post it note list each evening of what I have to get done and anything else is a bonus. When I've done things on my list then I can then go beach combing or sit in the garden as a treat!! With great excitement this week, I went into TK Max (we have just one store on the Island) and I found a small 2 tier tray which was a bargain at £9.99. Thinking of you I went shopping around my home and found lots of my small favourite things to decorate it with. Your voice was in my mind saying, "start with the bigger things at the back" etc!! You are a great influence. I have decorated it mainly with my favourite things at the moment, but will add Autumn bits, and then go to town at Christmas!! I shall have fun with it I know. I also went to a charity shop here on the Island and found a lovely wicker basket that I've put on the back of my door with my sun hat inside, adding some summer flowers of course. Yes you have motivated me. However, the really big motivation is - Our son who works 900 kilometres away is bringing his girlfriend home (the lockdown has been lifted in Germany) first time he has brought a girl home (he was 25 last month). I know she will be nervous but so will I. I'd like to make a good impression - it wasn't so stressful with my son in law as he lived nearby and just some how blended in the house whilst eating me out of house and home. Hi Sweet Amy - I loved this video. I really needed some motivation today. I love that you get ready everyday. Before the pandemic I always did that. Friends would call and want to do something and I was always ready but it seem like now I am only getting ready when I know I have something to do out that day. You are right though if I am not ready and in lounge clothes or pjs I am not as productive. I switch back and forth on my cleaning. Sometimes I go and clean all the glass and mirrors in the house or sometimes I just stick to taking care of everything in one room. I go to the pool from 6:30 - 9:00, 5 days a week. When I get home I shower and eat breakfast and watch RUclips for a while. Then I will start my day. I noticed during the pandemic when the pool was closed I got lots more done but I love going to the pool. A bunch of my friends from church go and we have so much fun visiting and exercising but I am tired when I get home and have to rest a bit and that gets my day off to a slow start. Today I need to do some cooking. I am trying to get my freezer down low since it is hurricane season. Yes, I would like to see you try on clothes that you bought. I ordered a cute red top that I wanted to wear to church this Sunday for July 4th and its on the way but has not come in yet. I am totally like you about letting all the light in. The whole back of my house is glass and I always get all that open for the day. It’s so hot here in Texas and I know it would be better to leave the blinds and curtains closed but I just hate it. My daughter Rebecca and her husband are always struggling with her wanting everything open and him wanting everyone closed. We always had every open and bright here but his mama always liked everything closed and dark. All of us girls in my family are major list makers too. Rachel came over yesterday with her two dogs because they are getting all new windows at their house and the dogs were going crazy. You will remember they just got their floors refinished about a month ago. I know I will watch this video again. Thanks for putting out such a good product. Love you sweet friend and I have you and your family covered in prayer.

@@SimplyRHome I just took a bunch of chicken out of freezer. I will cook it all and divide it into packets since I live alone. Some I chop for chicken salad, some I shredded for tacos or quesadillas. That makes it easy for me just to pull a packet out for a meal. That’s so sweet for you to take a lasagna to your parents house. I know they will appreciate that. One time for Mother’s Day the girls came and prepared a whole bunch of freezer meals for me. It was great. When Rebecca was home from the hospital from having Rachel one of my gifts to them was meals for a whole month. She loved it. She got married before she finished her degree from college so a few years back she was going back to finish and I did the same them. It was a joy to me and they loved it. I am not sure what kind of dogs Rachel has. They are little dogs, some kind of terrier. She loves her animals so I have to love them too. Anything for my grandchild. My girls would not believe how I let her eat popsicles on the couch when she was little. When they were little, I made them sit in the bathtub in their underwear to eat popsicles. HA! It’s all different with grandchildren.
That is a really great idea to do packets to pull out for different meals!! That has to be so convenient for later!! Lots of work today, but well worth it when you're starving and don't know what to make!!! I also will have to remember that for a gift idea!!
Haha...you sound so much like my Mama. She always was so particular. Although with my kiddos she lets that fly right out the window....like eating in the living room, not taking off their shoes once inside, dessert before dinner and so many more...

Another Friday has arrived!! Where do the weeks go. I have really enjoyed all your tips this week. I to like to get dressed and ready for the day with the bedroom made and tidy to start the day. I write a post it note list each evening of what I have to get done and anything else is a bonus. When I've done things on my list then I can then go beach combing or sit in the garden as a treat!! With great excitement this week, I went into TK Max (we have just one store on the Island) and I found a small 2 tier tray which was a bargain at £9.99. Thinking of you I went shopping around my home and found lots of my small favourite things to decorate it with. Your voice was in my mind saying, "start with the bigger things at the back" etc!! You are a great influence. I have decorated it mainly with my favourite things at the moment, but will add Autumn bits, and then go to town at Christmas!! I shall have fun with it I know. I also went to a charity shop here on the Island and found a lovely wicker basket that I've put on the back of my door with my sun hat inside, adding some summer flowers of course. Thanks for your bible readings, they are always so encouraging. Have a great week ahead. Sue x

I do make a list of to do’s for the day it keeps me going and I do the same thing one room at a time to complete it makes me feel accomplished, to move on. Hi Amy boy those storm were something else earlier this week and they brought in some nice cool air too! I am so happy we live high up and don’t have to worry about flooding! Do you leave your sofa cushions out in the rain & do they dry quickly? Your deck looks so nice with all your flowers, just beautiful! I got that oven cleaner too & love it. Yes you have motivated me. However, the really big motivation is - Our son who works 900 kilometres away is bringing his girlfriend home (the lockdown has been lifted in Germany) first time he has brought a girl home (he was 25 last month). I know she will be nervous but so will I. I'd like to make a good impression - it wasn't so stressful with my son in law as he lived nearby and just some how blended in the house whilst eating me out of house and home.
