Compared to Lazar 3, which is mainly an APC with relatively low armor protection and a few bad design decisions (imho), the new vehicle Lazanski looks like a much more complete and better thought out product from the very start. To me it seems that it can be compared with the best out there like Boxer, AMV XP, etc. and it's probably going to be much cheaper. So it's export potential is excellent. You can put both western and eastern turrets and APS on top without issues as well. All in all, congrats to the design team, you did a great job with this one!
The price of Lazanski will be significantly lower than the price of most vehicles, it will amount to 2,500,000 dollars. As for Lazar, in order to understand his concept, I will explain to you. I personal like the look of "standard" Lazar III but would it like even more in IFV version, only less windows then. :P But now - it would be much better NOT to order any Lazar III but only improved (Less windows, better mine protection and RCWS) M20 MRAP and Lazanski. M20 MRAP = APC Lazanski = (Wheeled) IFV 57mm is fine but more for export I think ... why not the same turret like upgraded BVP M-80AB1? Easier for logistics. Would be 30mm, 7.62 coax, 12.7mm OR 30mm AGL and 2x ATGM (NOVA then). That's a nice turret ... And Yugoslav/Serbian M86 and (dual-fed) M89 30x192mm are better than classical Soviet/Russian 2A42/2A72 30x165mm or not? PS: Maybe "classical" Lazar III only/still for Gendarmery. :D

Лазар 3 је посебно погодан, као котролни пункт, или за патролирање у урбаним срединама. По тестирању наше војске граната од 57 мм даје најбоље перформансе, јер има огроман домет, и може пуцати по 3 гранате рафално. На тестирању из покрета на 2 км даљинским рафалним паљбом са 3 гранате, обавезно погадја мету велицине оклопног возила.
@@slobodanstojanovic5521 I am well aware for what the Lazar was developed for, that is precisely why i mentioned that it has flaws. I will explain what i am talking about. Compared to other modern APC, especially for a new vehicle (which Lazar 3 is) the basic all around protection is too low(STANAG 4569 level III), and the side windows make the situations even worse. They should have built it from the very start with basic all around protection against at least heavy machine guns (like 50 cal), especially because of ambushes. I don't think anyone with a sane mind, would ambush a group of armored vehicles using only their M4s, or AKs. They would at least have one heavy machine gun, at that alone is enough to pierce through this(and all other APC's with similar armor protection) vehicle like butter. First they would shoot at the engine, stop the vehicle, then just spray the sides of it and kill everyone inside. Worse option, which is also VERY likely to be in a good ambush, is some kind of RPG, and then.. well.. even the best armored APC's have no chance. Using windows, just lowers the overall protection of the vehicle and is proven to be not very useful at all in practice, despite of its concept. There is a reason why the new versions of Lazar will be without side windows and improved protection(as well as almost all newly developed foreign APC have no side windows ). All in all, i think this is good vehicle for what it costs, but it could have been made right from the start. Especially because its so new, the designers could have learned from the abundant experience of recent foreign conflicts as well as the conflicts from the civil war in the breakup of Yugoslavia. The concept of side windows was mostly introduced from the experiences in the war in KiM, where the Yugoslav(Serb) army was fighting against not so well equipped and trained terrorists. Such vehicles are not specifically designed to fight such groups, but rather to be used in an all out war against a competent and well equipped opponents, who won't just be armed with old AK's, RPG7s and NSV's.. but much more potent weapons.
This is currently the best 8x8 vehicle in the world. Protection front of bar 6, side of bar 5. The final range of the 57 mm cannon is 14.5 km. It also fires in bursts of 3 grenades. It can also use various types of ammunition, from ordinary, to timed and explosive. The maximum weight of this vehicle is 36 tons.

Na 2 km rafalnom paljbom iz pokreta (tri granate) pogada sa 2 projektila oklopno vozilo i busi ga. A iz mirovanja moze sa 4 km bez problema busiti laka oklopljena vozila stanag2 i 3. Sa rasprskavajucom municijom na preko 6 km ubija pesadiju. A moze obarati helikoptere na preko 6 km.

Кумулативни против оклопни пројектил 57мм има пробојности од око 300мм довољно да пробије т55 м60 и сличне тенкове из 1960 и 1970их година а скоро свако борбено возило пешадије. Сигурно би било прецизно до 7-8 км. Показана је групација од само 30цм на даљини од 2км са овом купилом. На 7-8км би била око 1-2м што је сасвим довољно да се погоди возило а за пешадију се користи високо експлозивни пројектил који и на максималној дистанци има одличну прецизност кад се испаљује као минобацач.
I hope Yugoimport develops further this platform to be able to host a 105mm gun or 120mm mortar or why not 155mm howitzer. There are similar designs like Boxer or Centauro.

152-155mm can not be put on this chassis, a specialized chassis should be developed for such systems. even the 105 mm gun is a big question, the Americans have an unsuccessful experience in installing this artis system on a striker, now they are removing these guns from all strikers, apparently after the first shot. everyone else is flying by because of the lack of accuracy and rocking of the car.

It's similar to hunting patrons, where you have so many little parts that take down bird in air! Russians have anti-drone sistem DERIVACIYA with this gun au-220 57 mm!

Wouldn't that gun be too big for an APC as its role is to serve as shuttle for troops rather than joining them in an offensive. APC's max caliber would be 20mm, bigger than that, it's an IFV. With modularity these days, lines between IFV and APC seems to blurred even more.

First is Lazar 3 vehicle with 2x30mm cannons and 4 anti-tank missiles NOVA made in Serbia. Second is Lazar 3 vehicle with 3 barrel machinegun and its an older concept. Probably wont live and especially not in Serbian army. Its displayed for foreign potential customers.
Already someone told you about Lazar ,but he forgot to tell about Lazar with 30mm gun + 7,62× 54 in RWS. Lazar is much smaller than Lazanski and don't have protection like new Lazanski! It's better than Boxer or Patria
These are 30 mm cannons from Czech Prague. the bullet is 30x210, much higher penetration than the standard 30 mm bullet according to the NATO standard.
One glaring issue i see with this design is the turret/weapon station. If you pay attention, at 4:10 you can see the turret ring inprint in the roof above the infantry transport section. What this means is that the weaponstation is entirely confined to itself and not connected to the hull, ie there is no internal ammo storage within the hull. This might seem fine given it should increase crew safety, however it also means the only ammunition storage is within the turret, a very small turret at that. Because of this i find it very hard to see any way this IFV can store more than at Most 30-40 rounds, those 57mm casings are very large and require much more space than a 20mm or 30mm casing. Now 30-40 rounds is very very limited and would significantly reduce it's combat endurance, making the time before it is required to retreat and rearm very short in comparison to most other IFVs.

Malo je zemalja koje samostalno rade sve komponente. I Amerika na Abramsima ima Nemacke topove. Generalno novac resava sve ali u oravu si, zna da napravi problema isporuka delova. Ili prodaja gotovih sistema. Englezi blokiraju Ergentinu u nabavci borbenih aviona jer ne daju dozvolu a pozivaju se na svoja sedista za izbacivanje koja su u sklopu gotovo svih savremnih aviona (Argentini dostupnih) sa druge strane resenje se uvek nadje. Kao Turci sto su resili nabavku delova za Barjaktar tako ce i Argentinci najverovatnije uzeti MIGove 35.
Tako je to sada, ne isplati se razvijati neki deo kad ga je neko već usavršio , većina stvari danas koristi miks komponenti, bilo koji tehnički uređaj, evo klime svi proizvode a sve su u 90% slučajeva Japanski kompresori
Prilicno je velika razlika praviti kompletno vozilo po tudjoj licenci, i traziti dozvolu za bilo kakvu ponudu trecoj zemlji od prvobitnog prozvodjaca vozila (kakav je slucaj u HR) i kupovati podkomponente koje se ugradjuju u vozilo koje je potpuno domaci razvoj. Dokaz tome je sve veci broj nasih sredstava prodatih drugim zemljama a koje se dobrano sastoje od komponenata kupljenih u Evropskim zemljama i USA na primer. Takodje, sistem za oslanjanje je projektovan iskljucivo za ovo vozilo, planski sa ciljem dalje prodaje trecim zemljama. No dobro, svako se raduje po svojoj meri.

The vehicles are excellent and can be improved for the price paid for them, for something Nato attacked and divided Serbia, they cannot have Slavs in the middle of Europe !!!
So the most important and key components(engine, transmission, suspension, fire control and the turret) of this IFV are manufactured outside of Serbia and brought in, in order to assemble this IFV. In overall it looks close to Russian Boomerang but it can't cross rivers. So it is similar on paper to Patria's AMV XP and Piranha V but not Boxer.
What counties make 100% of their products lol ? This turret is Russian but there is also Serbian turret with 2 x 30mm cannons and 4 domestic nova missles with 9km range and top attack. This one has higher level of protection than boomerang that's why it can't cross rivers its too heavy
Yeah kinda if you put that way, 30 or 40% are domestic parts such as new armored plates, door, small corner cameras, wires, hydraulics for the door, hatches electronics and communication devices.
Even though 60-70% of parts are not made in Serbia and are imported it's still a lot cheaper to make it than that you bought a brand new foreign vehicle, plus we can sell it and earn money.

I believe thats just the turret not the vehicle. The hull withstands more most likely.

@@slobodanstojanovic5521 I am well aware for what the Lazar was developed for, that is precisely why i mentioned that it has flaws.
I will explain what i am talking about.
Compared to other modern APC, especially for a new vehicle (which Lazar 3 is) the basic all around protection is too low(STANAG 4569 level III), and the side windows make the situations even worse.
They should have built it from the very start with basic all around protection against at least heavy machine guns (like 50 cal), especially because of ambushes. I don't think anyone with a sane mind, would ambush a group of armored vehicles using only their M4s, or AKs. They would at least have one heavy machine gun, at that alone is enough to pierce through this(and all other APC's with similar armor protection) vehicle like butter. First they would shoot at the engine, stop the vehicle, then just spray the sides of it and kill everyone inside.
Worse option, which is also VERY likely to be in a good ambush, is some kind of RPG, and then.. well.. even the best armored APC's have no chance.
Using windows, just lowers the overall protection of the vehicle and is proven to be not very useful at all in practice, despite of its concept.
There is a reason why the new versions of Lazar will be without side windows and improved protection(as well as almost all newly developed foreign APC have no side windows ).
All in all, i think this is good vehicle for what it costs, but it could have been made right from the start. Especially because its so new, the designers could have learned from the abundant experience of recent foreign conflicts as well as the conflicts from the civil war in the breakup of Yugoslavia.
The concept of side windows was mostly introduced from the experiences in the war in KiM, where the Yugoslav(Serb) army was fighting against not so well equipped and trained terrorists.
Such vehicles are not specifically designed to fight such groups, but rather to be used in an all out war against a competent and well equipped opponents, who won't just be armed with old AK's, RPG7s and NSV's.. but much more potent weapons.
This is currently the best 8x8 vehicle in the world. Protection front of bar 6, side of bar 5. The final range of the 57 mm cannon is 14.5 km. It also fires in bursts of 3 grenades. It can also use various types of ammunition, from ordinary, to timed and explosive. The maximum weight of this vehicle is 36 tons.

Na 2 km rafalnom paljbom iz pokreta (tri granate) pogada sa 2 projektila oklopno vozilo i busi ga. A iz mirovanja moze sa 4 km bez problema busiti laka oklopljena vozila stanag2 i 3. Sa rasprskavajucom municijom na preko 6 km ubija pesadiju. A moze obarati helikoptere na preko 6 km.

Кумулативни против оклопни пројектил 57мм има пробојности од око 300мм довољно да пробије т55 м60 и сличне тенкове из 1960 и 1970их година а скоро свако борбено возило пешадије. Сигурно би било прецизно до 7-8 км. Показана је групација од само 30цм на даљини од 2км са овом купилом. На 7-8км би била око 1-2м што је сасвим довољно да се погоди возило а за пешадију се користи високо експлозивни пројектил који и на максималној дистанци има одличну прецизност кад се испаљује као минобацач.

152-155mm can not be put on this chassis, a specialized chassis should be developed for such systems. even the 105 mm gun is a big question, the Americans have an unsuccessful experience in installing this artis system on a striker, now they are removing these guns from all strikers, apparently after the first shot. everyone else is flying by because of the lack of accuracy and rocking of the car.

In my city made all kinds of rounds, from 155mm to small 7,62. New product is 3P rounds of 40mm and for 57 mm! It's similar to hunting patrons, where you have so many little parts that take down bird in air! Russians have anti-drone sistem DERIVACIYA with this gun au-220 57 mm!

Wouldn't that gun be too big for an APC as its role is to serve as shuttle for troops rather than joining them in an offensive. APC's max caliber would be 20mm, bigger than that, it's an IFV. With modularity these days, lines between IFV and APC seems to blurred even more.

These are 30 mm cannons from Czech Prague. the bullet is 30x210, much higher penetration than the standard 30 mm bullet according to the NATO standard.

One glaring issue i see with this design is the turret/weapon station.
If you pay attention, at 4:10 you can see the turret ring inprint in the roof above the infantry transport section.
What this means is that the weaponstation is entirely confined to itself and not connected to the hull, ie there is no internal ammo storage within the hull.
This might seem fine given it should increase crew safety, however it also means the only ammunition storage is within the turret, a very small turret at that.
Because of this i find it very hard to see any way this IFV can store more than at Most 30-40 rounds, those 57mm casings are very large and require much more space than a 20mm or 30mm casing.
Now 30-40 rounds is very very limited and would significantly reduce it's combat endurance, making the time before it is required to retreat and rearm very short in comparison to most other IFVs.

Ja bi tu kupolu sa Lazanskog stavio na one T-55 sto su u rezervi (ionako je T-55 zastario tenk) jos dodao neku raketu PO, odradio aktivnu reaktivnu zastitu poslednje generacije i to je to. Dobijes vozilo slicno terminatoru.

Malo je zemalja koje samostalno rade sve komponente. I Amerika na Abramsima ima Nemacke topove. Generalno novac resava sve ali u oravu si, zna da napravi problema isporuka delova. Ili prodaja gotovih sistema. Englezi blokiraju Ergentinu u nabavci borbenih aviona jer ne daju dozvolu a pozivaju se na svoja sedista za izbacivanje koja su u sklopu gotovo svih savremnih aviona (Argentini dostupnih) sa druge strane resenje se uvek nadje. Kao Turci sto su resili nabavku delova za Barjaktar tako ce i Argentinci najverovatnije uzeti MIGove 35.
Tako je to sada, ne isplati se razvijati neki deo kad ga je neko već usavršio , većina stvari danas koristi miks komponenti, bilo koji tehnički uređaj, evo klime svi proizvode a sve su u 90% slučajeva Japanski kompresori
Prilicno je velika razlika praviti kompletno vozilo po tudjoj licenci, i traziti dozvolu za bilo kakvu ponudu trecoj zemlji od prvobitnog prozvodjaca vozila (kakav je slucaj u HR) i kupovati podkomponente koje se ugradjuju u vozilo koje je potpuno domaci razvoj. Dokaz tome je sve veci broj nasih sredstava prodatih drugim zemljama a koje se dobrano sastoje od komponenata kupljenih u Evropskim zemljama i USA na primer. Takodje, sistem za oslanjanje je projektovan iskljucivo za ovo vozilo, planski sa ciljem dalje prodaje trecim zemljama.
No dobro, svako se raduje po svojoj meri.

So the most important and key components(engine, transmission, suspension, fire control and the turret) of this IFV are manufactured outside of Serbia and brought in, in order to assemble this IFV. In overall it looks close to Russian Boomerang but it can't cross rivers. So it is similar on paper to Patria's AMV XP and Piranha V but not Boxer.

This turret is Russian but there is also Serbian turret with 2 x 30mm cannons and 4 domestic nova missles with 9km range and top attack. This one has higher level of protection than boomerang that's why it can't cross rivers its too heavy
Yeah kinda if you put that way, 30 or 40% are domestic parts such as new armored plates, door, small corner cameras, wires, hydraulics for the door, hatches electronics and communication devices.
Even though 60-70% of parts are not made in Serbia and are imported it's still a lot cheaper to make it than that you bought a brand new foreign vehicle, plus we can sell it and earn money.
