Sounds great man. Im using the Laney 2 12 atm and its awesome with the Quad Cortex it is really good. But im thinking about one of these now. I guess its a fuller sound with the bigger cab and speakers?
this is exactly the set up i'm looking into as well. i saw a boss gt1000 bundled with the seymour duncan powerstage 100 stereo and was wondering how that would fare with a frfr as opposed to a regular cab. how'd your setup turn out?
Sounds great! How does it compare to a standard 4x12? I know the LFR is a different thing than a standard 4x12 cab, it's basically a big PA speaker, I'm just asking how it compares in terms of low end thump and "bigness" relative to a standard 4x12 cab.

Nice set up. Heavy tones there! I'm looking for a frfr set up for my Boss Gt1000.

Laney is horrible at getting people to demo their products, I have the 212 and been thinking about upgrading to the 412
is the 2x12 loud enought o keep up with bassist and drummer? metal with lots of effects?
