- Brick Farm Trout Fishery - Sometimes You Gotta Be A Yob With A Blob!!!
I totally went to brick farm expecting to be fishing with natural nymphs - however that was not to be the case on this session!!
Good job chad , next time I'm struggling at brick lake i will try a fab :)
Good to see you back on the water Chad… a reel fun day out
I’d like to play this fish on the reel but Todays tip guys, always ensure that your reel is secured to your rod 😂😂😂😂😂 was sooo funny mate.
You was right Chad, they are alder flies
I turned off my go pro when I hooked the fish so the comedy gold was missed sadly - I defo would have posted it
I love buzzer fishing to Chad, but sometimes we have to forego what we want and give the fish what they want!
Nice one chad good fishing
I’ve had loads on the washing line, but no I won’t fully decide the tactics until I’m at the waters edge and what the weather does
I can get a bit stubborn sometimes if I wake and decide I want to fish a certain way lol …. Push comes to shove though I will always relent and do what needs to be done tactics wise on the day at the waters edge
Little bit off topic of this video
Chad do you still using Hardy Ultralite X 9' #5 rod for stillwater fishing. How do you find it and would you recommend it.
Thanks
I think my main issue with the ultralite is my main issue with the sage x and the Helios 3d …. Lovely rods with high level components….. however they were much more like a 6 weight than a 5 weight
Hi its an Alder fly.
Cheers Dave I did think it was an alder
Do you still use your Shakespeare sigma 5wt?
I have a 7wt shakey ….. the line is a bit iffy now but the rod is good
