Hi, just wanted to say thank you for a simple but informative video. I haven't welded before so I looked at 'welding for beginners' etc, but they were useless. You took it out the box, wired it up and and gave a simple demonstration. As you know, real men don't need instructions! 🤣🤣. Thanks 👍🏻
We have used the ruclips.net/user/postUgkxOTeIs0vv4_9B5hsmnLsk9r930uDQLu_Y for probably 30 hours with our camper and it’s been great! The noise level is really only noticeable when running the AC and other appliances like the microwave, hair dryer, or coffee pot. It’s not huge like other ones and it has wheels so even at 90lbs, I can move it!
the welder i had same as above ,was good for one year about 40 hours i used it for a year after some thing in side stopes the wire from running ,, the motor 12v stoped . it was good when it lasted on well will not bye again choose different maker ..same one i had as above
I was thinking maybe the feed rate could have been slowed a trifle and the amps also turned down. But that was just my opinion! TOOLIOM 200 looks as good a bet and cheaper??
Never use an A/C flux core machine as they are very difficult - always buy a D/C one. Never use the flluxcore wire that comes with the machine for anything but practice - buy some good stuff for real jobs. Practice plenty before trying to do real welds - particularly on thin material. Enjoy.
Can you pls elaborate on this suggestion you made? I'm looking to buy this machine when available again. Is it A/C or D/C and what's the difference between them? Thanks
@@cestvraimenthorrible3465 My first flux core machine was an A/C one and it is very difficult to use - I no longer use it. You will find videos of people using the with some success but they are normally very experienced or well practiced on the machines. Because the polarity reverses with the mains frequency of 50/60 Hz they cause a lot of splatter as well and burn through thin material. DC is a lot more friendly for the novice (as long as you set the polarity correctly for flux core) and is much easier to become proficient with. If the Parkside is DC then it should be fine. I love my DC welder which like the Parkside was very affordable.
My Harbor Freight welder was 125 amp, AC output. It was slightly better than a hot glue gun. I converted it to DC electrode negative (DCEN). It made a whole new machine out of it. I took on a rather large project with it. I mounted a hydraulic cylinder on my HF motorcycle lift. I had to fabricate and weld the mount for the cylinder. The welds had to withstand 9,000# of force to lift a 1,000# motorcycle. I've been using it for about 3 months and the welds are holding well. Harbor Freight sells a 125 amp welder that is DCEN for a little more money. I bought mine not knowing anything about welding. The one advantage mine has over the one that's already DCEN is that it will accept a 10# spool of wire and the one that comes DCEN will only take a 2# spool. If that isn't an issue for you, I'd recommend buying the one that's already DCEN.
Interesting ...I would have love words with it ...But seeing all these question in many languages, no words must be ok! I wonder If this one is close to the Mig 100 a friend bought at aldi
Great job and fantastic result there. Can i please kindly ask your voltage and speed knob settings from the first thinnest sheet to thickest metal sheet? I've got the same one and im really struggling with given instruction outside the box. Much appreciated!
I can tell you first hand that this is a dreadful machine - I have one - however I also have the more expensive Parkside multi-process welder, which I use to run flux core & it is a little belter of a welder. Excellent machine, can't say enough good things about it. This ^^ however is absolute pish.
Hello my friend, I have a Renault 4 car. I want to repair its body and floor with mig welding without gas 130a. Is this welding strong and good or not. I want an answer from you
Litle more volt ,and less of spatters , and rhe finish been more glaze too, replement the gas cap fore selfsheld welding ,you see more better of welding
Hello👋🙋♂️ there. Amazing and very interesting video🎥.. Super like👌👌👌 Good information and very helpful Do keep posting Warm regards and best👍💯 wishes The UnknownManCub 👍😎👨🏭
If you look at a white screen its not the same as looking into an arc flash. Your phone does not recreate the same level of light as a high amperage industrial welder
3mm you would want to set wire speed to 4-5, and start with heat (voltage) from D+ till you find the sweet spot while lowering it.. (aka lowest spatter and smoothest sound of arc) btw this method is common for all MIg/fcaw welding.. you usually set the wire speed first and then find the proper heat for it...start with high heat and lower.. for 1mm?? ehh.. that would be a bit difficult...no continuous bead for sure.. try wire speed 1.with heat A-B and try tacking.. (all what I said goes to a 0.8-0.9 wire)
@@laszlovona There is only a single dial on the machine for specifying the metal thickness (0.8 to 3 mm). The feeding speed and amperage is automatically set by the machine.
Amazing replies from all over the world! No se donde las tiendas son pero tengas que buscar con google. Me gusta practicar mi espanol - buena suerte con eso:)

I will rate that work of yours is 99.99$ an hour.you did a great job.
Love this video no talking just showing every step my kind of videos
Flux Core is so underrated . it may not produce eye candy welds like gas mig or tig but it's just as good and can weld outside
Thanks for testing and sharing. Seems convenient for home use

Isn't it good that it is not synergic? As we can reduce or increase wire feed and volts as required to get the desired results....

No, this is only flux core machine
Looks like the same welder as this titanium 125 from HF

it can only weld steal, but no other sorts, not sure if suitable for a car body
Bende var bu makinadan arabalarda güzel sonuçlar alıyorum ancak yinede gazlı kaynak almanı önerebilirim en az 250 amper olmalıdır

The Parkside wire makes a lot of fumes you need to wear a respirator or use outside on a windy day
Yes the fumes are terrible I agree
The wire its the regular MIG (with gas) or its a special wire to do it without gas?
Special (Flux core wire)

If it does not use gas, the process becomes FCAW not MIG.
PARKSIDE PFDS 120 A2 👍🏻
Push the weld man dont drag it if you don’t have to
I believe you do have to drag with flux core, hence the saying if it has slag, drag
Doesn’t matter with flux core because that’s how the pipe work is done with the mig
