    Can you explain more about how to do it this way, I always used blend shape to do make controllers for the face and all the polygons move with it too creating deep unbeautiful face lines.

    When I built the advanced face i only got the yellow box and there were no controllers in it how to fix it

      It can happen for many reasons, try setting it up again. Sometimes because of a wrong selection or issues with the model it might happen that the setup is incomplete and you only see the yellow box. Only way to fix It is to set it up again manually each step one by one and see where the problem is.

      Advanced skeleton plugin is only available for Maya.

    Thank you for this helpfull tutorial, but i have trouble with building eye ball. I've checked all the step before even symmetry but it's not working and i can't move to next step. The y axis still work but x axis pops out the body. How can i fix that?. I hope you reply me❤

      Did you freeze transformation on geometry before starting the rigging process?

    I did all the steps but the controlers doesn´t move anything, i can just move the eyes. You know how to fix it? pls

      Probably you have not selected the proper mask on the geometry at first or wrong geometry selected when you select all the geometry for the face.

    Please help me. When i built face.
    I got error on step build 13 Jawweighing.

    How can i fix it 😢

      When you are creating all of your geometry, you need to give each of the geometry its unique name. This is why you have this error happening.

    Useful video! But I have a question, when making the body rig and facial rig, do the meshes have to be seperate (the head and body). I rigged my character’s body and face and after completing the face, the rig for the body no longer worked.

      It should.

      Yes you did it right. You first rig the body and then the face. Always remember to save in increments so you can go back to the previous file. You have the option increment and save in Maya.

    Does it create blendshapes or is it purely a joint-based facial rig? Can you set it up to only make joint-based rigs?

      You can do both, you have access to make blend shape based or joint based setups.

      Yes, you nees to have a proper edge loop for the 3 mouth selections. Otherwise it won't work.

    how could u modify the blendshapes? for example in the case of sad that you didn't like?

    i rigged that character face but i have skinning issue so how could i solve it? should i need to do skinning or what i do please help

      You need to refine the skinning with the paint skin weights tool.

    heyy thank you for the video, very good one but this one is happening to me:// Error: file: C:/Users/´/Downloads/AdvancedSkeleton5 (1)/AdvancedSkeleton5.mel line 28652: No Eye Geometry choosen PLEASE HELP , i already make everything to solve the problem , vertex edge face, isolate the eye or make a new eye and nothing...

      Did you select all the face geometry before applying the rigging?

      @@KINOMENTOR yeah i selected the front faces of face , not selected all face in the FACE

      @@ambikapathiak6044 you have to click "pre" go check advanced and set choose your main head joint. For some reason, this program is very buggy.

      Will try to make a version with no sound. In the meantime check the live version there is a very similar tutorial without music.

      @@livliv9068 You need to start over. Sometimes if you press build the face rig and something is not right, some nodes might stay behind preventing you from moving forward. Open the scene where you gave completed the body setup and Make sure that each piece of geometry of the face has its own unique name in the scene.
