WorldShame and Queen Pwndalot 🥀
Never thought I’d see them in the same sentence 😭
idk
How did you first discover it, and why did it potentially take 10 years to expose him ?
No rudeness intended
No.
Dude told everyone he was playing blindfolded, but instead he was playing with a mask.
bars
bruh 😂
now that's funny
haha
I think socrates said that.
this is something Captain Disillusion or Corridor Crew would have noticed immediately haha, since they debunk vfx videos, but most of the gamers dont know to look for artifacts, obvious masking issues and the rest
Missed oppotunity to say "left hand for pumpin, right hand for jumpin"
Left hand for cheering, right hand for cheating...
wasn't a missed "oppotunity". He was just waiting for you to say it.
@MTREDHEADS why did you feel the need to point out the typo?
@SolutraTheir own comment isn't grammatically correct, yet they feel the need to do that.
The only issue being he wasn't using it for jumping because it was fake.
I'm laughing imagining the guy sitting there dying on the first jump over and over while pretending to jam to the level.
Could have had a channel with successful videos just by doing a bit like that (holding two mice like maracas or turning the mouse upside down and hitting it with their forehead, etc). Just playing a character who thinks he's nailing it while either dying over and over or blatantly unpausing Windows Movie Maker and pretending to try to hide it.
@ArchibaldClumpy im kind of surprised we dont have a big channel doing deliberate fake content like that
Surely the cringe-inducing self-embarrassment and effort of faking all this CAN'T be worth it lmao, though there's always eventually someone to crop up, willing to sink that low
@Cadence_7w7 so long as we keep encouraging them with millions of views and ad revenue... attention makes money, good or bad attention
@error.418 Others doing so, you mean. Watching Karl's video will have no direct impact, and its content can only have a negative long term impact for the relevance of the cheater, as there's nothing worthwhile in this case
15:17 lmfao he really did have a mouse glued to his desk that's wild lmao
dude starts a run all nervous like he's performing in front of a live audience
I love how he treat's each run like he knows this is going to be the one - like the head nod before the attempt. Like did he do that cool head nod at every one of the 2 million attempts?
Honestly though, good for him. I certainly think this is more interesting than just being another guy who is good at some dumb game. Maybe the meta for gaming at these random nothing games should be more about cheating successfully than about beating the game. Maybe we should stop celebrating lonely people sitting there burning electricity running through level 1 of some random NES title for 3 years straight in order to gain a couple frames - like that's flagrant mental illness IDK
@hansolo631 bro..? all video games are arbitrary pixels on a screen 😂 "random NES title"? "m-my pixels are better than your pixels 😭" you left a wall of text with the SOLE intent of being negative, why not act like a mature adult and spend that time on a productive hobby, maybe go to the gym to improve your mental health, because how are negative walls of texts EVER going to do anything to improve your situation??
@hansolo631 maybe you should stop watching youtube on the same note... We've been paying for any form of entertainment since before gladiators - celebrating sudden death. Mental runs in our genes, our history repeats on it.
It's why we go out of our way to get entertained by people who do stuff most others would not.
@hansolo631 Of course, writing comments under a video about a "dumb game" is better and more useful then play it. (Sarcasm, stop burning electricity and don't watch RUclips)
"Nobody cared who I was 'till I applied the mask"
Dun dun dunnnnn
“If I move your hand off that mouse…will you die?”
“It would be EXTREMELY painful”
for you
LOL
lmao
Would’ve been more believable if he was eating Pizza.
The coke is equally as important to credibility.
I don't see a fake heart rate monitor either
That gave it away immediately.
Legit blindfolded runs need to eat Pizza.
You guys suck... now I want pizza 😢
Was the 420th like on here proud moment
Oh come on, that's so fucking fake. You ever seen a speedrunner's desk that clean?
🤣🤣🤣🤣 as a speedrunner myself this holds so much truth, top comment potential 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Had to think twice for this one. Lol
No pizza or coke? Clearly a faker right here
this is actually a legitimately good point. less things in the frame means less things to worry about editing later
cry about it
The fact that this dork made tens, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars doing this... shit's wild.
Almost like the olympics, where everyone cheats but everyone pretends they don't.
fuck... im a shitty hustler... every person out there whos ever risked shit for a good payday is feeling fucking stupid. myself included. who tf watches and falls for this shit?!
Pretty neat money hack though
@Ultrabuu85 wow you sound butthurt 😂😂 Failed athlete?
@Rondigitysteroid. If he is competing naturally it will be really really hard to win
5:06 bro is more dramatic than 6 year old me.
"It's almost time"😂
Give me a pizza, a heart rate monitor, constant camera adjustments and a celebration dance at the end and I'll believe you.
Can someone explain this joke pls im employed full time
@shlonkits a joke for the latin american group youtube channel named Badabun, the dude got caught cheating in Super Mario bros 1 and desync his pressing button with pizza eating
@shlonk just watch Karl's video on the Mexican RUclips channel that faked a Mario speedrun
Shoot it like a modern action movie.
@shlonk The camera adjustments probably refers to Queen Pwnzalot who constantly adjusted her in-game camera while doing a blindfold speedrun, which obviously wouldn't be necessary if you were actually playing blindfolded since you wouldn't even know where the in-game camera is pointing in the first place. Karl's video on that one is titled "This FAKE Blindfold Speedrun Fooled Everyone..." The celebration dance bit is likely referring to EpicSeastar, a Jump King speedrunner who at the end of his fake speedrun played Surfin' USA and did a goofy dance to celebrate his new record. Karl made a video on it titled "The Dumbest Fake Speedrun Ever". I'm not sure about the heart rate monitor bit though, I guess I'm not unemployed enough to know yet
certainly one of the most cringe cheaters in history
I think the fact that he's been doing it for 10 years is the most cringe part.
10 years of faking being good at an obscure video game challenge... in that time surely he could have just actually got good at the game lol
Other than monetization, I don't know who he's trying to impress, plus the first time someone asks him to do this at their house or at a public event then his deceit would have been revealed
@SayAhh I'm not sure how much would he realistically earn from monetizing his few dozen of 2-minutes long videos...
@JoannaFalkowska maybe low cost of living expenses where he lives? I don't know how nor how much YT pays
@JoannaFalkowska U guys are trippin, before the adpocalypse here on yt, creators were making boatloads of cash from monetization. It wasnt about watch time then it was basically per view and if his videos were getting millions of views for every upload he was EASILY in the 6 figure a year range if not much more even if his uploads were infrequent. I hate cheaters but the guy figured out a way to make a great living for 10 plus years FAKING playing a stupid video game. U may not like it , i sure as hell dont BUT we gotta respect the hustle.
4:52 oh my god, his fake, over the top theatrics are sooooo cringey. The deep sighs and putting his hands over his face, sloooowly and dramatically putting the blindfold on… more deep breaths. So dramatic lmao. Thank god cheaters are horrible actors who can’t put together how people genuinely behave
He looks like he meant to overdub some monologue like, "Sometimes, before I put on the blindfold, I stare into the fabric while I can still see anything else and ask myself, 'who's really putting on whom?'"
Dude should have taken a theater class instead
@SayAhh sending someone to theater school to become LESS dramatic is crazy 😂
@Thomahawk1234 it's to become better at appearing to not be acting
it's because most newer speedgames have an internet following of 12-15 year olds who don't know any better but love the "lore" and the "aura"
This guy's "celebration" is exactly the same as the one I did back in '93 when I watched someone beat Mortal Kombat in the arcade and walk away during the credits, so I stepped in to pretend like I was the one who beat it and pumped my fist like that. Most shameful moment of my life, by the way.
😂😂😂😂😂
did it work and did anyone find out
@zerotimelefti remember that accident he won the nobel price of gaming that year
@Mrseanisawesomedude what no lol now you're just making up stuff
@zerotimeleftNah, I remember the Nobel for gaming was contentious that year, but he managed to walk away with the medal.
12:38 I assume he masked most everything on his desk - and the only part that's "live" is him - e.g. about half the frame is one take, and the other half is another.
Yup, easiest trick in the book of film splicing. People have been doing it for literally over 100yrs.
"everyone knows this is one of the unspoken rules of blnidfold competition, left hand for pumping, right hand for keeping still the entire time until the camera fades out" this is a quote of all time lmao, love the video!
absolute legend
😂😂😂
Adding this to the quotes list
left hand for pumpin', right hand for jumpin'
Bro was so irrelevant no one bothered to expose him 🥀
rage bait
I thought it was because the people who watch geometry dash doesn't have developed their frontal cortex yet. So to them the cheater looks like magic man.
He had a ton of views on multiple of his videos
@abdou.the.heretic Not sure I'd call someone with millions of views going under the radar or irrelevant
itt: people who think getting views is the same as having a community or fans who care about you. It takes more than views to be relevant lmao
I think the main reason he wasn’t exposed sooner was because despite his popularity, he was isolated from the rest of the community. He was never considered a “top player” (and never received the scrutiny that most top players receive). And “beating a level blindfolded” is a niche enough achievement, at least in Geometry Dash, to the point where there isn’t a popular “list” for it. Most people are not actively trying to beat main levels blindfolded, which is why so few have done so.
Also, the vast majority of his audience were casual/amateur players, a large amount of them being children, who would be impressed with his achievements but wouldn’t scrutinize them as much as a professional player would. His videos often spread by being recommended to people who watched other Geometry Dash videos, rather than word-of-mouth, and he was less memorable than other notable players as a result of that.
This and also the fact that most of these achievements don't seem impressive for an experienced player (except clubstep and the 2.2M att) so it was neglected.
And even when being suspicious, we didn't knew how he cheated.
No it’s bc there was no pizza and coca-cola. No reason to think he’s cheating lol
So the views were probably coming from people who are much too employed to care if a video about a dude playing a videogame was staged.
@Mephitinae You realize the whole "Well, this petty nonsense is beneath the contempt of those of us with actually meaningful things to do" brag instantly falls apart when you're both watching and commenting on a video like this, right? Aren't you "too employed" to be wasting your time watching some guy do forensic analysis of some person you've never heard of cheating at an extremely obscure way of playing a game you've _also_ probably never heard of?
Yeah I've been around the community for over a decade and never heard of this guy once. If I had seen his videos the theatrics would have made me think it was just a parody anyway
Billy Mitchell wouldnt mask his legs to make himself look taller.
Billy Mitchell is very sad right now, he just learned that he isn't the biggest narcissist in the world any more.
(Billy Mitchell has never threatened a war over not getting a prize.)
@TruthNerdsSo Trump trolled you and you took the bait, nice.
@TheRedRaven_ booooooo you should be embarrassed to defend Trump regarding literally anything.
@TheRedRaven_He‘s already a murderer, war criminal, multiply convicted felon, and most definitely is prominently featured in the Epstein files.
Tell us all about how unspeakably delusional one has to be to dismiss his most recent sick confessions as trolling after all he’s proven himself to be capable of before.
@okalyddude LOL I'll never be embarrassed, ever. I am so proud of Trump right now, he's doing an exceptional job with our border. JD Vance 2028! ☺
10:50 his hand being a freeze frame is ridiculously obvious evidence lol
That hand morphing reminds me of the Goosebumps intro.
Gives "The Haunted Mask" a whole new meaning
Viewer beware, you're in for a scare
*insert classic Goosebumps theme here*
Underrated comment lmao
Speedrun / Challenge run theatrics are my favorite part of these. Shoutout to the guy who danced to "Surfin' U.S.A." after cheating in Jump King.
The dancing was okay, the real gold was him making those weird noises like he was having an orgasm lmao
at 6:30 the cursor literally moves and his hand doesn't, I feel the only reason it took 10 years to prove it was because we all kinda knew it was fake from the beginning.
Yeah idk how anyone fell for this, just looking at the guy for the first time in this video. It’s so blatantly obvious.
Your comment makes no sense. What we see on the mouse should actually be what we see on the screen cursor. That’s the whole point of going through the effort of masking. Also, his mouse does move at the exact same time the cursor moves. I agree the movement is pretty subtle, but a man just has high sensitivity.
it's because most newer speedgames have an internet following of 12-15 year olds who don't know any better but love the "lore" and the "aura"
You underestimate the gullibility and lack of perception of people.
But I'm thankful for people like Karl who rip the mask off.
@avengentangel4848 It’s because there aren’t any obvious signs of cheating to the untrained eye. Geometry Dash is also a game with only one button that uses music sync and memorization, so it makes sense that people would assume he’s learned how to time and memorize his inputs over time using the music sync.
Dude puts that blindfold on like he's preparing for a Harakiri ritual or something
11:38 this ''unlike some people'' made me rewatch the video i watched yesterday
Dude reacted like Badabun when he won the world record 😭
I almost wish bad a bun had not been exposed immediately, and had released multiple fake runs of many different games before being exposed, because that video was hilarious and I wish there were more like it
literally what i just said when i saw him react lmfao
Bro why did you put slime on your feet and record it
@u12bdragonto this day I still think Badabun just made a very bad parody video because is not even a speedrun channel, I watched their videos cause they were funny 😢
16:24 he gets up after every fail and walks towards the camera so that he can stand on something to look taller
Why would he do that, he's 6'5"?!
I find blindfolded speedruns of games to be such an insane thing in the first place, that I almost always suspect cheating.
This is the issue with ACTUAL blindfolded runners...the fact that it's possible and people do it in a verified manner (and EXPLAIN their methods in ways that can be duplicated) makes it that we can't assume. I suggest looking into a recent video by Bubzia, a LEGEND in blindfold runs and what he has to say about this assumption. It's a nuanced and interesting take.
weird way to think, vast majority are legit and not even that hard to learn, some are astonishingly impressive and then some are fake, the fakes are the ones that get popular
@Valmerix "weird way to think"
Nothing weird about it. That's such a common opinion. It's actually weird NOT to think that way.
@Valmerixhow do you know they are legit or people are just better at faking it? I just don’t find it interesting even if it was real. I want to see skillful playing not just memorizing movements.
@bltvd boiling down blindfolded gaming to "memorised movement" is ridiculous at best (I'm not trying to criticise btw 😅): so many blindfolded strats require a lot of precise excecution and in depth knowledge of the game and the physics behaves, especially for improvised backups (which happen way more often than it seems), otherwise if it was just about remembering most of the runs would take 1 attempt 😅
The ROI of effort to status with cheating is so pathetically low even if you get away with it. Even in mainstream games it is questionable.
I'm always amazed how popular irrelevant shit online is. Fascinating
Cheaters also use bots
16:29 Also his fly is down lmao
Lmao good catch
Why’s that what you notice
the implications of noticing this are funny
Meat gazer
now that's some humiliation
6:40 lol no joke, if he was legit he would make this same thing every single time until he actually achieve the score/record and have this footage... I'm surprised nobody thought about this before, how perfectly staged the preparations are and how he gets the records only then, otherwise he has to record each attempt like this, which would take YEARS
Yeah, it starts with him preparing as if he knows he's about to get the record
5:21 i didn't see pizza and cola, he is definitely not a cheater
He IS a cheater because there wasn't pizza and cola, you got it backwards.
Also, no heart monitor changing from 85 to 89
I bet it's Clara again putting her hacks on everyone's computer.🤣
13:39 fun fact: the ground in the main menu changes based off of the last levels ground that you played. out of all of the main levels, fingerdash is the only one that uses that ground. not blast processing.
At least he had fun jamming out to the music the whole time.
wait, wouldn't he just be jamming to the beginning of the music repeatedly lmao
@paper2222the first three notes of Can't Let Go are pretty good
king of allegiance spotted
SDSLAYER SPOTTED
I was at one point trying to do the Geometry Dash main levels but invisible, maybe I'll make a comeback
Well that is way easier than blindfolded since you can use the background as anchorpoint and you can view your ship/wave position
You should do it, it feels good to complete a challenge that you've been working on for a while
7:50 Muty literally cried after beating one of oldest Quake records
Yeah we've all seen similar.
Sus
His mannerisms are cringe af
That stupid fist pump
I got a message underneath that says translate to English. When I did, it said “His mannerisms are cringeworthy.”
@jm329 well yes, cringe as an adjective is not a thing actually, there is the verb 'to cringe' or 'to have a cringeattack' and the proper adjective is cringeworthy
@richardbottom9843 🤓🤡
@jm329 I also got this. They are now translating the broken english the kids are using. They should include more rizz and scoobidies in their list of foreign words.
The guy was so much into blindfolding he even masked his hand
6:03 Now I can't help but imagine him doing all this just to find an open and peaceful environment to scream and rage for 40 seconds over failing before returning to the game lol
Read the title and then looked at the thumbnail... Thankfully not Bubzia, would have been heart broken 😅
I was about to comment this. I don't recall what Bubzia looks like (cuz hey, blindfold) and I got really worried lmao
@BlazeSupercollideri wear a blindfold while my phone plays his blindfolded runs
Bubzia is the GOAT, don't even know why the thought crossed my mind 😂
@BlazeSupercollidersame
Heart broken? Because?
It's just some guy on the internet that you don't know.
Imagine dedicating your life to cheating at a video game. It’s really sad.
Edit: all the replies praising him for scamming people are even sadder.
A shit game at that
I wonder if the millions of views had anything to do with it 😂
For all to see, he didn't realize there will people super dedicate every details of the game?
@BRAVOROBINSONdid you rage quit on stereo madness?
People that watch that are the stupid ones. There are many people making millions by cheating in games, it is pretty smart if you ask me.
He did not see that coming 😅
In his Clubstep completion, it took him ~30 seconds to go from sitting down to playing the level. Assuming that he did the whole video ritual every single attempt, he took those 30 seconds 2 million times, which adds up to around 45 years of playtime.
His fly was down in some of those fails
Wouldn't it be more fun, interesting, and impressive if he did a 10 year series literally called "creating the ultimate fake speed runs"? Then you could try different games, encourage community interaction by catching errors, and improve your own video editing skills by incorporating the fixes and explaining them? You'd also get 10x the views since such a series could be game agnostic.
I'd watch the hell out of that!
“Its so obvious”
Me 99% of the time not noticing shit changing or such micro errors I’d of just considered it video quality having poor blur. Lol how people catch this is insane I’d never see such little things like this. Bravo to the eagle eyes out there
Well it was obvious because of the theatrics of leaving the game, removing the blindfold and starting again for each attempt, tje method of cheating is easy enough to find if you're actively looking for it I guess
I genuinely don't understand how anyone can be silly enough to fake a blindfolded run. The routing is SO much different and it's just incredibly obvious when someone is faking when they perform feats that are clearly only possible with vision
You still have to have a somewhat deep understanding of the game to realize that, however. Most casual viewers only see someone doing something cool while blindfolded and don’t look or think deeper
I mean you say that, and yet it took over a decade to catch him
Millions of views equals $$$$
Ego makes people do silly things.
It’s not silly the dude made big money. I doubt he regrets it at all.
15:49 my guy is so good at clicking that his index finger grew abdominals
😂😂
This has got to be one of the most insane things I’ve ever seen. Absolutely creepy vibes too.
I am 1:31 into this and already am like wtf am I looking at and I’ll be damned if this doesn’t look like those brain rot ai girl streams that randomly pop up now adays..
15:59 I always keep my hand still after finishing...
Too much information
😳😳
You're playing a different type of game, but it also has speedrunners
That's during the period of feeling maximum shame, right?
@thomasphillips885yes :(
Oh man not again...
YES, AGAIN
-Days- Hours without GD youtuber being exposed for cheating or sending inappropriate messages to people under 16:
*ZERO*
same day that dolphy got exposed too this has been a very strange couple of days
Crazy how this situation got this big
I didn't see this coming. Unlike he did, apparently.
I was cringing right from the start. The dramatic entrance and sigh at the beginning was ridiculous!
It’s like those fake morning routine videos
Well we didn't see that coming
*Rim shot*
but he did
i love how it eventually just became his journey with masking
I thought he would do one of these intros into a cut into the real attempt type thing. Absolutely hilarious to watch without a cut.
i remember when he first uploaded and honestly im surprised it took this long for any of us to realize he was cheating the whole time
It's kinda insane he cheated for so long, getting tens of millions of views and no one knew. People can be tricked so easily. We are so cooked 😆
The fact that this clown (subject of vid) has made spicy bank and been held in high regard by a lot of people is sickening.
The coin count was wrong, it's too easy to spot. When he goes down the pipe also check the coin blinking isn't aligned with the ones in the bonus level.
I mean if Niftski was doing things on attempt one I'd believe it lol
the in-video ad got interrupted by an ad ... adception
5:50 lol that's exactly what I thought in this moment XD
The only thing I ever did while not seeing what I was doing was switching my PS3 from AVI to HDMI. I had to memorize how many button presses it would take because I bounced between my brother's and his friend's house to play games with them, and his friend didn't have an HDMI TV for me. I have never tried playing a game blindfolded.
There’s a way to do it by holding the power button for so many seconds. Something like that.
@ErrorlVlacro Yeah, I don't have a second gen. I have a gen 1 backward compatible with the 4 USB slots and SD card slot. This didn't work from time to time for one reason or another and I had to push the buttons to do it manually.
7:58 Derek Zoolander - Blue Steel
Ive always assumed it was cheated but i never knew how to prove it lol
biggest lie told
The best gamer is Billy Mitchell
Imagine if we could force these cheaters to perform live at a convention and live stream it so everyone could see how little skill actually they have 😂
They should make an exploits-only league where we find the most effective real-time cheating strat.
AGDQ Halo Speedrun Moment
Frogarchist has a video for that
There was one of a mario64 liar that claimed he discovered tons of gamebreaking glitches, but his tutorials didnt work for anyone.
Then later he got invited to a GDQ event where he had to perform them and it didnt work as expected lol.
lol this guy's theatrics.. it's like im playing The Sims hahah
Imagine putting so much effort hiding a cheated attempt instead of playing legit.
I have to wonder if it takes the same amount of time to fake runs and to actually practice them.
@dimwarlock when you see the quality of his masking, cheating probably takes less time.
Just look at how much money he made from those views. Money was the reason. And clout I’m sure too.
@ErrorlVlacro The watch time for his videos is a handful of minutes. Even with millions of views, engagement would be low. He certainly made money, but not "quit your day job" money.
@ErrorlVlacro Clout is gone. Money isn't that much. A "viral" video might get $1000 per million views. Is it worth making yourself a fool for life? Who knows.
Honestly, the trickery and dedication makes him a pretty cool supervillain.
Funny how “upset” he gets when he loses compared to how “excited” he gets when he wins.
It's probably not much but I notice he uses differ mouses
One lights up
And the other looks like a standard black computer mouse
@15:04 also I noticed that in most clips he has the mouse on the keyboard pull out section but In this clip it's closer to the monitor on the actual desk and there's a bit of white, what looks like adhesive padding under it similar to the other adhesive padding he has on the desk for the other things on there.
Definitely a Physician
imagine how many cheaters there that we don’t know about
I've always thought a run in my community was fake, the run was just too good for the skill level of that player. But I could never find solid proof. This video has me rethinking though - real cheaters are obvious if you scrutinize them. The run in my community is probably legit.
For real, the efforts people put themselves through to NOT do something.
Things like this actually make me feel bad. Instead of an amazing, dedicated individual capable of something truly challenging, we end up with a clever deceiver.
Cheating has come a long way from Todd Todgers just entering bs scores into a leaderboard.
Honestly, Geometry Dash seems like it would be a more ideal game for blind-run challenges, as it's constant and if you fail then you start at the same place every-time meaning no getting lost.
Exactly, which is why the GD community believed him for so long.
@railenherman6482 Nah, its more so we don't really care about this guy. This isn't like some famous creator everyone was just waiting for his next video. This guy is so isolated from the GD community, that a 12 year old playing basketball on the street is more connected to LeBron than this guy is to GD,
To quote James Randi: "If you're wearing a blindfold, why do you need to also look the other way"? (possibly paraphrased)
Pointing your favored ear towards the audio source. Think Marco Polo in a pool
@82Xaro Or... Cheating....
@82Xaro I remember now, in the example it was Uri Geller and it wasn't a blindfold. He cupped his eyes with his hands. And he also turned around. There were small mirrors in his hands, so he NEEDED to turn around so he could see through the mirrors.
I actually don't have a problem with that on its own. To me, it's kind of like "Look, even if I could possibly see through the blindfold, I'm not even looking at the thing".
to make it more legit?
One could say that his “sleight of hand” was not up to snuff.
the fabrik sound like a cloth mixed with paper
HAHAHAHHA This was epic. Just watched till minute 4:14 after i paused reading the dc mesage. And just by knowing generally what to look for, the videofootage instantly stood out to me. So i instantlly noticed the weard blendline on his hand. Now i will keep watching to see thats right.....
Woah...I randomly paused this video while going to answer the door and when I came back your comment was shown under the video.
I paused it at EXACTLY 4:14 .
I don't expect you to believe me but it was too eerie to not comment. 😂
@muffaloRUclips is actually doing this as a new feature, they’re putting comments with timestamps at the top when you’re at that timestamp. I think it’s pretty cool, you’ll usually get comments referring to the area of the video you’re watching.
@PurgatoryyMusic it's not particularly new tbf, they're literally phasing it out again because nobody liked it 😅 (i think mostly because it meant if you tried to open the comments, sometimes you'd accidentally skip to the timestamp you were at 30sec earlier when the comment popped up, and if a comment faded away and you tried to find it again, you'd have to scroll for AGES, so now they're rolling it back and implemented the 'Timed' section lol)
@rat-gang- Yea you're right. I guess I meant a "new official feature". I believe before it was an experimental feature for premium users with experimental features on, and some random free users.
Didnt see that coming 😂
I’m genuinely impressed with the amount of effort and work this guy put into this. With the skills he learned and honed, he could have probably just gotten a job instead of doing this
Lol but this paid more money!
On the bright side at least he didn't get utterly ruined for liable. Swings and roundabouts; you can't lecture if you own hands aren't clean.
amazing how something so simple done that badly was that effective
You transformed the video quite a lot from the original, good videol! Very good point about how beats it first attempt everytime, i cannot believe no one spotted that (the original video doesn't even mention it as well). And it was hilarious what you said about him taking off and putting on his blindfold every attempt.
I know hindsight bias and all but i would've thought these weird behavioural cues were quite obvious. The masking is a bit more technical and provides the sufficient proof but the fact that he can beat the level right after he 'locks in' is so obvious especially with the crazy amount of randomness being blind presents.
i always just thought he got really consistent with it and is then doing the act for the video, i don't think beating the main levels blind folded is that hard (not sure though)
@C@Cr34ky it is WAY harder than it seems. Just try stereo madness for example.
A lot of people did find that weird, as well as the attempts-to-jump-counter discrepancy. He has been suspicious ever since his clubstep blindfolded completion, it is just that nobody bothered to actually expose him until now.
The original video does mention this point, though it did not point out that it’s like this for every one of his videos. The original video mainly focuses on the absurdity of having an intro to every attempt for 2 million attempts
Treble locked in holy
We all knew it, we just didn’t prove it…
Prove it
@ellsawyer Watch the video
@rainbowsnail4171 prove it
Wait you really couldnt tell what i meant? Yall make me wanna be dramatic fr.
I meant, prove you knew, and i said it as a joke. Sarcasm, a silly nothing comment meant to do nothing but be slightly annoying and silly. Silly goose.
@ellsawyer lick it
Even more crazy than anything! He has a landline phone for some reason.
I looked at the thumbnail and I thought it was about a nurse lol
This is just really sad, I looked up to this guy and praised him. Now he’s been exposed for cheating.
You looked up to a guy playing a clicky game on his computer?
@theGamer-z5f5b i looked up to his skill
5:35 Also worth noting most of these are levels that have reasons for having extra high attempt counts.
#1 - VSC, one of the hardest levels in the game despite being extraordinarily short. It's all of the difficulty of something like Slaughterhouse packed into 15 seconds. Additionally, the first few clicks are some of the hardest. Both of these things cause attempts to be incredibly short.
#2 - VSC again
#3 - Sakupen Circles is fairly short, and gets the vast majority of its difficulty from a couple of specific sections, meaning a majority of your playtime will be spent practicing the same brief bits of the level over and over. This jam packed difficulty ends up having a similar effect to VSC, albeit slightly offset by normal attempts taking longer than normal (since you'll be getting TO those hard parts rather consistently).
#4 - VSC again lol
I did not expect Karl to make another Geometry Dash video but I am happy he is covering this
lol he's pumping his fist with his thumb inside his fingers like a baby
