    Sooner than originally planned, but I also made a video with the battle music of Blue Reflection: Second Light (or Blue Reflection Tie), if you are interested, here it is: ruclips.net/video/j_CS38htMmE/видео.html
    Don't forget that the song list is in the description.

      I hope you enjoy it, Blue Reflection has a fantastic soundtrack, not to mention that the graphics and characters are also amazing in my opinion. It's not the best turn-based RPG out there, but even so, I like it.

      Don't forget to check out the Blue Reflection Ray Anime. Storyline the Anime comes before the Sun and Tie Second Light games. It's a really good Anime. It has 24 Episodes all worth watching. Plus 24 Chibi mini OVA Episodes.

      @@lovevideogames1Blue Reflection Second Light can rival even the best Final Fantasy and Persona turn based games. This series is so unique. And very fun to get into. Honestly I feel addicted to the way the Blue Reflection games and Anime do things. Such a fantastic series. Very beautiful in each and every way.

    I have the soundtrack, but I literally listened to this video on repeat every work day for about 9 months after I finished Blue Reflection last year. And I forgot to thank you. So.. thank you!! And I've looped back around to here because I"m currently replaying Second Light to do a Deathwish run and am feeling the disappointment in story inconsistencies (especially about the end of Blue Reflection) and lack of Blue Reflection battle music xD

      I wouldn't say that Blue Reflection has my favorite video game soundtrack of all time, but it's up there, it's one of my favorite video game soundtracks of all time, along with the soundtrack of both Rosenkreuzstilette games, the original MapleStory, those two Klonoa games (to an extent) and of course, the sequel of Blue Reflection. Blue Reflection: Second Light and the other games I mentioned have *fantastic* soundtracks I would say.

    Blue Reflection is proof that more video games should incorporate Artcore for battle themes. Piano/Strings+ Electronic music is a powerful combo. It's a shame this genre (To be fair, electronic music in general) goes under the radar very often for video game OSTs.

    • @lovevideogames1
      @lovevideogames1  Год назад +3

      Yeah, the combo of piano, strings and electronic music is something rarely heard in video games, it's the reason why the soundtrack of Blue Reflection was kind of unique for its time, nowadays the sequel and...Blue Reflection Sun, have similar soundtracks and for the most part the composer for those games is Hayato Asano again, but it's true that electronic music or techno is something ignored in video games, I sometimes think that the music of games such as Dodonpachi Saidaioujou, Vectorman 1 and 2, Nano Assault and the Neptunia games (some of them) for example, is music that doesn't get enough recognition.

    I remember when i first found out about Blue Reflection was when the game was sitting there at a GameStop once. I remember wanting to play it so badly, but i never did. It wasn't until the Blue Reflection Ray Anime got announced that i started playing the games. And watching the Anime. And I'm glad i did. This has been my favorite series ever since then. This is the one soundtrack I've listened to over a million times already. People wanna go on and on how other games have very epic and beautiful music, which they do, but if people have never listened to, or even played and watched anything for the Blue Reflection Ray Anime and Blue Reflection games, then they are missing out. This is a very beautiful series in each and every beautiful way. 🥰 😍❤

    Thanks for this compilation. I can’t explain how much these tracks, especially what I assume are the normal battle tracks, help save my mental state on a constant basis. Something about it reminds me that even though I’m fighting through a lot of things in life, no matter what gets thrown my way I will be able to find a way through it all. I haven’t even played Blue Reflection yet, but I just bought it during the current sale on PS4 and will be taking my time going through it. The soundtrack alone has had a profound impact on me so I hope the game is the same.

      You're welcome. Your comment made me say ''wow'' out loud, that said, considering the nature of the soundtrack of Blue Reflection, it doesn't surprise me that these tracks can help with the mental state of someone and have a profound impact. I won't spoil anything, but let me say that, to this day, Blue Reflection is still the most moving game I've ever played, it's a beautiful, moving and emotional game with a lot of funny moments (in my opinion of course), so, I don't doubt that the game will have a profound impact on you, it's a big possibility. If you are wondering, the normal battle themes are Albireo Lake (only used once during the first fight), OVERDOSE, KOSUICHINOKAKUSURANAKIKU.EXE, and hallucination And hope, more or less.

      ''Voyeurism simulator'' is a very strong term for Blue Reflection...the game has content that can be considered fan service, I can't deny that, but it's not a game on par with other games when it comes to fan service, Blue Reflection is not a Senran Kagura game or a Dead or Alive spin-off.

    Me too I ended to buy the game because of the boss battle musics; I was also blown away with the boss battles setup!
    I'm now on BR Second Light; everything is improved (better battle system, more playable characters, better cutscenes, we can build structures around the school to get stats boosts) but the OST is a bummer: we lost all the epic battle set up of the first game and the variety of banger boss themes (only 2 tracks, one for major and mid-stage bosses).
    So we have the 1st game with one of the best boss battle setup + incredible OST but very simplistic system
    VS
    the 2nd game with classic battle setup and "lazy" OST but with everything else glown up... it's frustrating!

    • @lovevideogames1
      @lovevideogames1  8 месяцев назад

      Yeah, Blue Reflection: Second Light is even better than the first game, but it's a shame that it has less battle music compared to the original game, both games have *great* soundtracks but I would say that the first game stands out in the amount of themes for the battles, while the second game stands out in the amount of themes for the maps (or Heartscapes).

      You should honestly start the Blue Reflection Ray Anime. That Anime takes place storyline wise before Tie, Second Light does. You even get to find out more about what happened to Hiori Hirahara and Mio Hirahara's mom in the Anime. Also you get to see how Uta Komagawa was a psychopath. And a Rouge Reflector before the events of Tie, Second Light. Same with the Blue Reflection Sun game as well. The Storyline of those series is connected. Basically the entire thing is one big connected storyline. And continuation series. You can find more information when you look up the Blue Reflection Timeline.

    Blue reflection: Second light, a console sequel to the 1st game is coming to switch/ps4 and PC. Absolute yes!
    Blue reflection was such a hidden gem of an rpg back in 2017.
    The soundtrack(easily one of THE best JRPG OST’s I’ve ever heard.), the visuals, the U.I. Some of the topics that the writers chose were quite dark at times too.
    Hopefully the Soundtrack for this sequel as well as the mobile game entry which is called “blue reflection: sun” will have more fantastic musical pieces.
    I assume Gust will be using the Engine that the ryza games are using, so can’t wait.

      You took the words out of my mouth. I love Blue Reflection, not as a game, but as an experience and story, the game has a lot of flaws and I would have preferred an English dub, but the game definitely has a lot of positive aspects. The soundtrack is one of my favorite soundtracks of all time, in video games at least. The announcement of not one, *two* new games...yeah, I'll definitely play Blue Reflection: Second Light at least (I'm not into PC gaming that much).
      The announcement of Blue Reflection Ray was already something very exciting in my opinion, but now two new games including a console game...as I already said, this is probably the most excited I've been about something in years...actually, forget being excited, I'm *ecstatic* for Blue Reflection: Second Light...

      I’m right there with you, I’m not a Pc gamer myself, but a close friend of mine gifted me Blue reflections on steam, 2 years ago, played it and loved it. I don’t own a ps4 to experience the gamer any exclusive RPG for that matter on that console. (Personally for me, I like playing RPG’s via Handheld gaming devices, whether it’s the Switch, 3DS, PSP, PSVITA etc etc. I personally think RPG’s are best suited on the go experiences...but that’s just my pointless two cents on the matter...unfortunately, lol.)
      No game is perfect, but even with blue reflections shortcomings. I absolutely enjoyed it. (It also being my first ever GUST developed game that I’ve ever experienced, it holds a lot of memories to me within such a short time.)
      Anyways, I’m excited to play the sequel on the Nintendo switch. (Would love to see the first game brought to the switch as well, but whatever it is what it is.)

      For now, I'll wait and see I guess...even if the game is released outside of Japan, if the game is ''free'' I won't play it...nowadays I'm only willing to play mobile games if they cost money (I bought the Android version of Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1 last year)...if the game is free-to-play I'm out...
