felt like the AKGs had a cool vintage vibe.. singer song writer press to vinyl kind of thing , and the 4050s with there clarity made me think of a tv studio or PBS special kind of vibe , thanks, your videos always rock!
Thanks for your comment Felipe. Both microphones are well suited for interviews and livestreams. If you do not want them to be seen on camera, I would suggest a Shotgun Microphone (off the frame) or a lavalier microphone.
@@RedStoneProductions Thanks a Lot for answer. What is opinion about At4050 for livestreamings and talking?. Many thanks for attention. Lord bless you and family.
I have 2 At4050's and they're great for podcasts and talking for sure. Make sure you use a pop filter in order to reduce the plosives and you will get a very good sound.
To my ears the AT4050 sounded richer in the high end making it seemingly possess more clarity. It would be nice to see you compare mics on drums as well for reference! P.S. I like the guitarist’s accent! His voice would be suitable for voiceovers.

Thanks for your kind words man, it means a lot!
honest comparison!
Any chance to clash them on vocals?
Please guys can you make a video comparison of them on vocals? I'm between these two and still doubting. Is it possible?
Thanks for your comments Kirill. We are working hard on other reviews right now, but I will take your request and test them as soon as we can.
May you recommend this Mic for livestreamings and interviews?
I did external and internal acoustic treatment.

If you had to record a rapper which mic would you go with?
It would depend on the Voice big time. Nonetheless any of these 2 Condenser microphones would do great (in Cardioid Mode).
AT4050!
How about a Comparison between the C414XLII and The 4050?
Yea, I'm interested too!
AT4050 has better string clarity imo
4050 sounds much better.
at 4050 awesome, also for vocals. C414XLII beter for electric guitar cabs ..
4050
C-414 is bit hard or muffled. 4050 sound more open in mid range and highs..
