Back in the day, that was one futuristic pistol. My local gun shop used to sell them in the 90's but as a teenager it was way out of my price range.
Yeah pretty pricey. When this video was made in the 80s, MSRP for a P7M8 was $881, and an M13 was $1099. In the 90s, when I made $5/hr and drove a $1500 car, I remember seeing a used p7 for $750.

Now people are paying insane prices. $3k to 5k+. There's a k3(hydraulic buffer version in .380/.22)on guns.com for $7.5k!
