Imagine if the main bad guys was like: "So our sentry guns are the most powerful weapon we have right? Let's put all that daka on our next giant robot."
I think this is the last episode I saw as a kid and never knew what happened if he survived or how the series ends. rented it on video at some small indie rental store that didn't get the rest of the series.... he just gets blasted to "death" and I'm left cliff hanging for like 30 odd years
Spoiler Alert . . . . . . . Kazuya survive the blast and struggle to the control room. Prince Richter was impressed for all effort from Earthling to save Baam people even they were enemy. He save Kazuya and sacrifice himself to finish the job. After the conflict end, Earthling and Baam terraform the Mars and live together in peace.
@@poorlydigitallydrawngigachad That's pretty much what happens to all robots, both hero and opponent, behind the scenes. The enemy in Daimos creates a "rubbery armor", they create the ice storm/fire blizzard combo; the enemy finds out that the combination/detachment maneuver for Grendizer and his Spacer leaves him completely vulnerable, the base builds the Double Spacer (actually a VERY improved version of Mazinger's scrander); the enemy finds out that Vultus V's Choudenji Ball literally drains every single erg of energy from the big dude, they send out TWO enemies - one to sponge up the attack, the other to kill Vultus; Zion finds out that most of the Federation GMs use energy weapons, they send out the freakin' Big Zam, who is completely invulnerable to energy attacks; and so on and so forth. Basically, only someone who has absolutely no control on what to send out and how (for example, Jeeg and Raideen's opponents, whose battle units are millennia old magical artifacts), doesn't try upgrading.
1:04 - new truck punch to the tailbone - ha ha ha. 1:21 - I think that he should aim at the engine or the steering, that the enemy would not be able to turn left then right 1:27 - the tires aim to puncture the tire stationary, the enemy is with us
sad to see Daimos got totalled in the end. Was under the impression that the Tranzor mode has a better armor due to the large panel enclosing the torso.
The ending of the program is rushed (it was replaced by Battle Fever J Super Sentai tokusatsu after the anime ended in 1979).. Sunrise and Toei originally wanted to extend it for another 4 to 5 episodes but Toei and Bandai demanded the show to be finished already to give way to Battle Fever J the way they did with Toei Spiderman tokusatsu also with very rushed ending
The only time we see Daimos fight an enemy Mecha in Tranzer form in episode 33
I Miss this Classics my friends. Thanks.
Still competitive even in tranzer mode!
I hope the insurance will pay for the damages
- Kazuya

Unfortunately they never get to do that because if I remembered it correctly that part is right at the final episodes so...

Daimos suddenly get nerfed at the final episode. Defeated by just puny sentry guns.
Yeah. So disappointing.
If I remember correctly everytime daimos defeats one of thier machines they were taking notes and making stronger weapons

I am surprised he survived the explosion
can tranzor move backward hehehe. I wish there is a scenario where he ram them backwards
Richard: He cannot transform while in Tranzer form like that!

There was pretty heavy recycling of short clips in Daimos. You can spot parts of the transformation sequence during the fight.

such a wimp of a robeast........can't even get the upper hand over tranzer mode Daimos!
Owned by an oversized truck-kun.
All the plot armor got wrecked by a couple enemy machine guns in a hallway?

@@KuchingKingVideoGamer we'll that's disappointing honestly at least the Japanese Spiderman ending was satisfying
