Hello...I enjoyed your video. I didn't know about the baby oil. Great idea! Did I miss it...did you do something to the back of the zine? Anyway, I loved the moon with the moth on its face, like a mask😊Thank you for sharing 👍
Bjr c'est très beau ce que vous présentez... Mais je n'ai pas compris pourquoi vous avez enduit vos découpes d'huile pour bébé au pinceau ?! Merci pour le partage... Cathy Avignon France 🇲🇫
Thank you for your question! The baby oil makes normal copy paper translucent, and more like a vellum paper. You just need to let it completely dry before using otherwise it will make everything very oily....a few days in sunshine will do...
I tried to use the baby oil to "clear" images, to make it more transparent but they got to oily. Maybe I used to much oil 😅 I'll give another try. I loved the effect. This is a pretty art zine. Thanks for the tips ❤
Less is more with this technique...it helps to also "wipe" the images with paper towel to dry them and then leave them to dry for a day or two in a sunny area. I usually make a few batches at a time because they tend to be too oily when used immediately and then the glue also have a difficult time sticking things down properly...keep trying and let me know how it goes ❤
I love this little book! Have you put something on the backside. I want to make one but am considering what to do with the back. Maybe another theme. Well done! I love your videos.
@@MarianneBurgerStudio Thanks Marianne! I would like to send you some happy mail when I get the chance. I have figured out what I might do to the backside!!! Hee hee!! Have a great day or evening over there. Will make sure to look at your other videos.

Good question, but no...I only decorate one side. Normally fold and glue to secure.

Thank you for your question...Usually, I glue the book pages closed from the back so it stays in book form, but doing the back is a wonderful idea!
