Families in Recovery Program (FIRP)

Each year, as many as 22,000 pregnant or parenting women in Connecticut suffer from a substance abuse disorder.
Liberation Programs' Families in Recovery Program (FIRP) is the only program in Fairfield County that provides residential treatment and supportive services for mothers and their children.
FIRP helps 30 families stay together each year, fostering sobriety, wellness and self-sufficiency for the mothers, to ensure that babies are born healthy, and young ones are safe.
