Lehman’s in Kidron, Ohio for wood stoves, oil lamps, tools, many Amish-made items, tons of useful items as well as books… and special events.
I missed this abs will have to watch it with a pen and paper. I have some of these but not near enough.
Superb video, splendidly produced. Plenty of content, no unnecessary humor or baggage. I like the way you present your subjects, pragmatically and no-frills.
Appreciate that! Thanks for watching and supporting
A 100 gallon galvanized stock tank is a must. Placed over afire pit and filled with water, it's a marvelous bath/hot tub. If you want to get all spiffy, locate a surplus army immersion heater to heat the water. They are not easy to find but they burn gasoline and will run well on stale junk gas which can be had for free at small engine or marine shops. I have seen these heaters used in 55 gallon barrels to heat green houses and to keep farm animal water from freezing.
One of my favourite cold weather items is my battery powered heated vest. I use it from riding my Harley in cool weather to sitting 25' in the air with my bow
Love this video! Thanks for moving through the list and not talking about each item for 10 minutes like other channels
Excellent video. I'd like to see more videos, organized the same way this one was. It was effective in reminding me of things I mean to further my preps. Thank you.
I hear you! I’ll get another on the list!
Thrift stores for cooking utensils. I got a cast iron pan set, and a Dutch oven for $20.
I can just take them off my beams in living room have a collection of Griswold . Comes in very handy
This vid was excellent, well thought out and holds the viewers interest. I suggest future content to include books on....Survival methods, grid down scenarios, first aid, herbal remedies, gardening, disaster preps, food preservation, homesteading, etc. Lots of great reads out there to have on hand if the internet is down. Resource materials at hand could be used as a bartering item for those who failed to prep and are now forced into a new world they were in denial to expect. Could be a good starting point for their situation. Great job on this vid. 👍
Love Tractor Supply, but Harbor Freight is another one of my favorite places to shop for inexpensive prep and bushcraft stuff.
Great video! Thanks for the simplicity with highlighting supplies. Makes it super easy for newbie preppers!
Just came across your channel with this video. I really like your rapid fire list with no long drawn out critic of any one item. Your channel will be at 50k or beyond in the next 12 months... keep it straight forward with no fluff and you will get there! 🙌
Good coverage of what's available at T S. Thanks for the broad overview.
This was so beneficial..extremely informative..thank you sir and God Bless you for your time and great job!!!🙏💞😊
Glad it was helpful!
Dude tractor supply & Home Depot are my hot spots, nice vid
I learn so much from your videos, can you do a video about prepping and safety if you live in a apartment
Darn good list! Creative. Witty and quirky presentation - like it. Thanks for the timestamp reference too. I’ll be using this now.
So pretty much you need 1 of everything 😂
Just kidding. Thanks so much for all the helpful tips and time it must have taken to make this vid. Much appreciated.
Great video!!! It’s one I am going to have to watch. About 10 times, I do have a few items on the list.
This was a great video. I'd ad zip ties. I was always using it to patch things up in a pinch. Many uses. And shop rags. DONT throw them away after a small clean up, they can easily be washed and reused.
Zip ties where in there I thought.
😂 I was multitasking... must have missed it my bad!
Great video! Things we forget!
Lots of great ideas!
Excellent video. Thank you very much!
Great video
Excellent review, much appreciated. Hope you don't mind one further note, however. While you did eventually mention solar generators, it would be nice to have reminded folks about them at the same time you went over alternate fuel devices. I've never quite understood why some people want a limited fuel source generator (ie, gas etc) when that source is going to run out quickly and they might not be able to get more. My favorite mid-range solar generator is the EcoFlow River series. I have several of the 600's with extra batteries, and I can tell you from experience that it's beyond easy and cheap to just prime them every 6 months with a wall charger. Each time my unused batteries have only lost about 1%. Unless you're caught in Noah's flood or something, you don't even need to connect them to the solar panels (which you should still have) ever. Easier to just keep a bunch topped off. If going with multiples, buy the same models so the batteries are interchangeable in the unlikely event one generator fails. Never put all your eggs in a single basket.
It’s a great callout. Did a couple reviews on EcoFlow and the River, great stuff!
Love your video. Good job!!
One of the best of the list was the cast iron Dutch oven
Yes, hands down
Very through video...Top Notch👍
Great list!! Good video!
Got some great ideas! Thx
They have kits for generators to allow gas generators to run off propane. You don’t have to be limited to ones that are already setup as such.
Awesome reminder, you just gave me an idea for a vid!
Loved the video
Very interesting video with a good list. Another thought, one can see items & price them for scouting out @ thrift stores & garage sales. Thank you. God bless.
I got most of that stuff, the reason I say most is because I live on a tropical island lol.
Goodness.. One stop shopping.
tannerite because it's tannerite.....hahaha....awesome list...
Awesome
And seeing how HOME DEPOT has a policy of not putting their hands on a Shoplifter , we can all grab these items for FREE ☺️☺️☺️
Haha all the things I could have gotten for free!
Hummm....additional go bag. Where to set up Hamm radio, additional medical supplies, get spray paint for lids. Please cover topic of dividi g up supplies. Where and how to configure secure command control. Flares, bull horn?
All great adds!
I got a 12 lb cat hooked on tuna I stole next door two years ago outside cat she was raised eating mice the time I stop feeding her to feed me I need no traps 😂
Could you do a video over sanitation like using the restroom with no running water
Absolutely!
@@PracticalPreparedness awesome!!! Thank you so much I really need help on this portion
would like to know more on small wood stove....
Research rocket stoves and rocket mass heaters, many can be home built for cheap or free. The best small manufactured stove I have had is a "Lopi", it has secondary wood gas burn, a glass door and built to last.
yes both. where to find a good wood stove[ brand name which are good ones] how & what is needed to install. had one years ago but it smoked up the house, stopped using. I was told i can't get house insurance if i have one, would love one thats outside the home but to cost to high. thank you.
I was taught to prepare tool heavy. Rely on tools and fabrication. eventuality dictates
What will happen to people who have Solar? will this effect or impact our solar inverters and batteries?
@@PracticalPreparedness Thank you for asking, I have a off grid solar array and I'm concerned about the inverter and my battery bank and solar panels . will the Solar storm affect my equipment ?
Beer
Bourbon takes up less space and won't get skunky.
How about have alot of money to buy all that suff .
David, having started earlier than today would have been a game changer. That way one could have prepped most of the items as a budget would have dictated. Thrift stores could have supplied much of these items @ a lower cost. One would have to have exercised do diligence in hunting for such items. Cost referencing products between stores & watching for sales or discontinued items would have been beneficial. Starting to prep in the here & now is somewhat like training for a marathon one week prior to the race. Some preps is better than no preps. Most preppers deal with cash restraints. They tend to make sacrifices in spending to be prepared. Good luck. God bless.
99% of this is life. what are the rest doing?
Do not dry seal jel cap vitamins!
@Practical Preparedness Thank you. I tried to research everything I could dealing with storing for long term. There are food items like pancake mix that I have heard shouldn't be vaccum sealed .The ingredients should be sealed separately the way I understand it.
@Practical Preparedness Any time👍 But I am only 2 years into prepping and I have so much to learn.
half that stuff isnt at typical Tractor supply stores
Diaper pins
Damn this is lots of 💩🤦♂️Im not prepared
@@PracticalPreparedness 😂🤣😅
Tractor supply how much they paying you it cost 6 dollars for a small sneaker bar and a 12 oz coke two years ago 😂
Want to prepare us for our future? Figure out and show us how hack into crypto wallets 😂
Haha that would be the last skill I'd ever need!
Awesome
