Naxos all day long as the all time, never get tired of it great. Terre D' Hermes as classic, timeless, designer. New to me this year but predicted to be all timers are Nawab of oudh by Ormonde Jayne (edp or intensivo) and BDK Gris Charnel extrait. I'm only just starting my collection based off many blind buys recommended by yourself, Gents Scents, Chaos Fragrances, Aaron Terence Hughes (I do love his deep explanations/technicalities on the breakdowns), and Demi Rawling (along with a few others that I'm not following regularly) and so far my favorites have been Spice Bomb and Spice Bomb Extreme. I share some of the love on many of the fragrances mentioned in the past few months as well as some mentioned in videos from years past. It's been fun researching the notes and when each one is best so I can properly build a collection for every season and every occasion without breaking the bank and owning 100 fragrances I'll never find time to wear. You could almost say I have a top 20 that I currently own with a handful of clones and a few niche fragrances to round off the collection. The Spice Bomb DNA seems to by my favorite so far, though I've been receiving some great compliments on my Armaf and Lattafa clones so far. Waiting on the right nights and for warmer weather to truly share a handful of date or warm weather fragrances, but in a few months I'll have a proper top list to share. I don't think it'll be much different because I've really loved a decent selection mentioned by yourself and your husband after binging so many of the videos. Thanks for the great recommendations, by the way!
Welcome to the Community my friend , I hope you enjoy this journey to the Max ,and as you said , it’s not about owning 100 Fragrances, it’s about owning the 15-20 of the best fragrances that YOU personally find amazing. We do not wear fragrances only for others to compliment or like , we wear it for our own satisfaction as well.
I love some of the Tom Ford Fragrances (esp. Tobacco Oud and F***ing Faboulous). But I never understood the hype for Tobacco Vanille - in my opinion, it just tastes like black tea.
Great list. Interesting to see your tastes as of current. It is interesting and very cute how you put Explorer in your top five. It is a Swiss delight for sure. I find it somewhat reminiscent of Abercrombie and Fitch Fierce, despite its known comparison to Aventus. It really is great though, I think; for its scent, price, bottle, I think it is a nice full package. It is absolutely modern, masculine and sexy, and I think you pick up well on that.
I'm fairly new to to whole perfume collecting world, I used to own one (YSL L'homme intense). I ran out of my last bottle and unfortunately saw that it was discontinued. In search of a new signature smell i'm getting sucked in to the nice world of scents and loving your chanel in particular! I tried many different, mostly designer, perfumes in stores and am pleased with what I have now: - Bleu de Chanel Parfum, for office and allround use; - Dior Fahrenheit Parfum, for evenings and weekends; - Guerlain L'homme ideál EDP, for going out. I will be looking to buy a niche fragrance next, so kepping a close eye on your videos! :)
@@TimonBrew all good . Wear anything u feel smells good. Personally I go niche, just remember the more expensive doesn’t necessarily means it smells better but they do project and last longer. Personally I smell the fragrance in advance or if ima do a blind buy, I go on frgrantica and look at all the notes involved and if it is something I like such as patchouli, musk, ouds etc. than I grab. Base notes are the scents that left after an hour it sprayed. Tops are the first notes you smell when you spray
@@96gds Personally, YSL is overrated. Compared to how they were made before, they don’t last long and you have to overspray. Don’t get me wrong they smell good, but it’s something that is common. I wear La Nuit to the gym just to not use my good ones. My others ones will have females wanting to have triplets with me lol
I don't have a huge collection but my favorite so far is Versace Dylan Blue. I just bought my second 1.7oz bottle about a year after buying my first. I have also been a fan of Calvin Klein Obsession since I discovered it in the 90's
Pretty good selection here. There are some other fragrances out there that are great smelling though. "Prada Black" is an excellent one as well. I like "Bentley Black" too.
Definitely some Great ones there Monika ! All of these I have and have had some compliments on them. Have you ever tried the Italian sticker version of D & G Pour Homme ?? WOW !😚
Hi Monika, I'm in love with a perfume maybe you didn't smell it before, it's acqua di parma bleu mediterraneo ginepro Di Sardegna, I like it a lot, my favorite perfume for winter time, I love to know what do you think about it
She already has a Bleu De Chanel on this list, probably didn't want it saturated with BDC flankers. As for Dior Sauvage Elixir, not everybody likes Sauvage and its various flankers the most. It's popular fir sure, though.
Stance is better assuming he’s not super into fragrance Stance is more generic and typically masculine fresh daarej is great but isn’t as masculine due to its sweetness and not as mass appealing
Explorer overrated is it cucumber or grass or citrus sometimes I like it sometimes I don't not my fav notes , Also you have to spray 20 time to make it last long .
D&G Pour Homme was one of my top fragrances before they reformulated it. Another amazing fragrance that was ruined. It doesn’t smell the same. The original formulation has a sticker or metal plate label on the bottle. The newer formulations just has the text printed or etched on the bottle like the one shown in your list. It was reformulated around 2011.
@@jordanxlongoria It lasts, you just become nose blind to it. It has happened to me several times, but women around complimented me on how good I smelled. Explorer is awesome for sure!
Try Roja Enigma ( Creation ) before you buy it. To me it’s a love , or hate fragrance rather than a can’t miss. I think it’s really good , but it’s not my personal favorite from the House of Roja. Elysium, Scandal, and Danger are also really good in the same line. Scandal ( blue bottle) is my personal favorite.
Love your channel, great video. But Spice Bomb Extreme is a real bomb, on me it lasts forever and it chokes people if I give more than 4 sprays. Can’t get much stronger than that 😂.
Some of my current favorites at the moment that I cannot get enough of: Terre d’Hermes by Hermes, Sedley by PDM, and Gentle Fluidity Silver by MFK. I own 2 of these three and am just waiting to pounce on a deal for the third. I’m still somewhat new to the fragrance world but I have already felt what it’s like to like a fragrance and grow out of it. Maybe it’s seasonal, maybe my nose is maturing, only time will tell.
Great choices, I love sedley. I think most prefer Percival from what I read but Sedley wins for me by a mile. Gentle Fluidity Silver is a gem also. I love TDH but my Mrs not so much so it doesn't get the usage it used to. Try Carlisle also by PDM a classic for the colder months
@@Chris-df7vg I couldn’t get over the opening of Carlisle, smells like diesel fuel or something to me but the dry down is nice. I also did not care about Sedley at first but I love it now so I will have to see. I may have a preference for PDMs “lighter” scents which is not what they’re known for.
Ehy Hi Monika, I wanted to ask you: between Armani Code (the little one, not the cylindrical long one), Dior l'Homme and Davidoff Cool Water Intense, which one would you suggest to a 25 years old? Occasion would be: a scent for the evening, with friends (informal occasions), dates etc
In case she doesn't answer, I can tell you that Armani Code Profumo is very likeable, somewhat sweetish, Dior Homme smells so much like lipstick and makeup people might think it's weird, the Homme Intense is better, but still anything that has iris will have that smell to it, I don't know about Cool Water Intense but I found the regular Cool Water very boring but that doesn't mean anything. Also, almost everybody likes Spicebomb Extreme, just FYI. Cheers!
@@dggydddy59 hi thank you for your reply. True, code profumo is good. Also true that homme smells like lipstick! I just smelled the strip of paper (with Homme on it) and it really reminds me of lipstick. I then tried hugo boss (the brown one, bottle and cap are brown), but they (the boss ones) dont last long enough eventhough they are parfums... that is what I noticed. Very average in their character. Right now the most "alive" (now it is evening, this morning I tried some fragrances) on my skin are Code and Davidoff. Davidoff Coolwater intense is very nice, it is coconut plus mandarin and acquatic notes (it reminds Le Beau, but it is better in my opinion. Fruity fragrance). (Normal coolwater is for 50-60 years old i think) I tried somewhere else Spicebomb, the standard one, but it smells kind of shower gel... I was looking for something elegant but "sexy" (playful so to speak, "alive") at the same time. (For example I got Dsquared 2 Green Wood, AMAZING fragrance but the very weak point is that almost 0 projection and durability.) In your opinion/experience, which fragrances can sum in themselves the elegant/classy vibe + the playful "sexy" vibe? For example, bleu de chanel, eventhough good, is too much "closed" in its own character... you can like it but it doesn't give you the pulsion of wanting to smell more of it.
I'm assuming if you said you've looked for better versions of Oud Wood you've smelled Thameen Carved Oud. If not you definitely should! I personally do like it better. Fresher opening, not as linear, and much better projection and longevity.
I love your voice let me review Ur voice Top notes fruity, sweet ,vanilla, soft spicy Middle Notes, musk, orange Blossom Base Notes, Honey, brown sugar 💕 your so Amazing

Good list. Those are really nice.
Honestly, I’ve had Hermes but never got any compliments on it compared to when I wear Carlisle or Ombré Leather
The fact that Terre D'Hermes started the list, you've got my utmost respect 🥂
Ehy Hi Monika,
I wanted to ask you: between Armani Code (the little one, not the cylindrical long one), Dior l'Homme and Davidoff Cool Water Intense, which one would you suggest to a 25 years old?
(Normal coolwater is for 50-60 years old i think)
I tried somewhere else Spicebomb, the standard one, but it smells kind of shower gel...
I was looking for something elegant but "sexy" (playful so to speak, "alive") at the same time.
(For example I got Dsquared 2 Green Wood, AMAZING fragrance but the very weak point is that almost 0 projection and durability.)
In your opinion/experience, which fragrances can sum in themselves the elegant/classy vibe + the playful "sexy" vibe?
For example, bleu de chanel, eventhough good, is too much "closed" in its own character... you can like it but it doesn't give you the pulsion of wanting to smell more of it.
1oo percent code
Mont blanc explorer is gorgeous
Daarej pour homme ?
Right now my top two are Aventus and Blessed Baraka.
I'm assuming if you said you've looked for better versions of Oud Wood you've smelled Thameen Carved Oud. If not you definitely should! I personally do like it better. Fresher opening, not as linear, and much better projection and longevity.
I love your voice let me review Ur voice Top notes

Is it possible to wear Ysl la nuit in warmer weather?
@@RISKmg It is because you can wear what you want when you want! I love wearing during the warmer months because I think it performs better!!
@@brianclark6294 Ok thanks 👍
Definitely the next fragrance I'm buying 💯
@RISKmg if you want something that smells like it and not as expensive buy Poker face ted lapidus! Smells almost identical and a quarter of the price!

BDC EDP, Sauvage EDP and AHSEE
All boring and overplayed
@@DuSeun Nah not really. Only to snobs
@Chris Wilson So anyone who doesn't share your opinion is a snob, since your opinion is apparently the only correct one. Noted
@@DuSeunI kinda agree BUT if those where the only 3 you had, you’d be OK
