This video is amazing, I'm already a Raycast user and I've discovered many extensions that will help me a lot in my daily life. Thanks for the contribution ♥
This is fantastic. I just bought my first macbook air this week and have been really enjoying Raycast. I can definitely see myself using these extension a lot. Thanks for the video.
Amazing video, as usual! I would love to see a full build of an extension. Would be cool to create a useful extension like formatted text to HTML converter
@@bobmonsour lol, Ikr! Aliases are a big help here. I just assign them to a word I'd think to type first. But I'm starting to run out of ways to keep track of everything :)
Ha well I know Alfred power users are really hard to move, so just use whatever you want. I think empowering devs to make extensions is the reason Raycast has done so well.
My top extension is VS Code, which shows the previously opened folders. Very importantly, if you set an icon to the folder in Finder, it will show here as well. I have it bound to cmd + shift + ;
Great video and list of extensions! There's ones for encoding and decoding things (URL/base64) that are really useful too. Would love to see a video about making a Raycast extension! I've made one, but it was a lot of copying and pasting.
I have most of those as dmenu scripts 😁; the others are overkill, I mean web search can be done as easy on the browser. Though, good to say MacOS catching up.
Yeah, I’ve had a few of these spread over other items, but I’ve found I really like them in Raycast. They’re not uniquely solving these issues (like you said, you can easily find them in the browser), but keeping my hands on the keyboard has been a nice upgrade for me
Hello, why are you using Warp ? It requires an account and an internet connection to use and also collects a lot of telemetry and everything you type is streamed to their servers for completions and other purposes but it also has no transferable skills if you use another terminal. Could you please elaborate on why you use Warp ?
Been using it since the early betas! It does require an account, but all the other things you mentioned aren’t true. You can turn off telemetry and they actually provide a command to see every request sent so you get full transparency. I’ve double checked it with 3rd party services and it’s showing every network request. The auto completing and other things like that are replicatable if you install a bunch of plugins and cli tools, but being preinstalled means I don’t have to mess with all of that if I don’t want to. Other extra features are great, so I’d really miss them (workflows, AI, launch configurations, etc.), but it’s not going to ruin me if I can’t use those. Hopefully that helps.
Thanks for showing off the Astro Docs extension! I'm still improving it a bit, but hope you like it!
Love it. Thanks, Elian!

You're very welcome!
This is just awesome, as a new raycast user - this is gold.
So glad you enjoyed it!

Awesome! I’ll get something up!
I think I installed about 8 of these as I was watching. Freaking Wow! Incredibly useful. Thank you!
Raycast is the best!
@@CodinginPublic I've added so many quick links and hotkeys that I need a way to export them all as a cheat sheet so I can begin to remember them.

Very good selection, I have installed 4+ extensions. Thank you.
Wodnerful!
This was great! Installed about 6 of them and some of the others I was already using.
Would love to see a raycast extension tutorial!
Awesome! Would love to hear the other ones you’re using!
I’ve been trying to decide wether I change to Raycast or keep Alfred, but this video shows me they’re not close 😂

This is actually insane, thanks so much
I left out like 15 others I use too haha and all my custom ones ha. It’s changed how I work with my Mac.
Damn I bet! This feels like mac with superpowers, Im implementing those asap @@CodinginPublic
Excellent video format: fast and informative, others need to follow the example
Glad you liked it!

Appreciate it!
my life will be complete once Raycast comes to Windows.

Oh, cool! Okay, I'll consider making a Raycast extension. You’re the first today that’s commented about it, so we’ll see if there is more interest.
This is wild! Thank you :)
Raycast is 🔥
Wow the google fonts and svg extensions!! 🤯
Ikr!?!
video I was looking for, thank you!
Glad I could help!
I'm on linux, but I've definitely got some ideas to try out in rofi now.
Cool!
Amazing, thank you! Who's for full tut in React/TS - hands up! 🙋♂
I’d love to build something!
Amazing! Thanks for the video
Glad you liked it!
So cool! Thank you for sharing!!!
You are so welcome!
Great vid! At 1:28 how did you get the options to open in vscode or warp? Is there a way to do that with any dir?
Raycast is absolutely amazing, transforms your Mac. You just don’t get apps like this on Windows.
Raycast is 🔥
Great one !
I wonder why you are using vscode instead of Neovim though ?
One day! Just haven’t put the time in yet!
Awesome video. Would be awesome if it came for windows as well
🤞
Very nice! 👏
Thanks, Pedro. Means a lot coming from you!

Any alternatives for windows users?
Not sure? Anyone have a suggestion?
Man, how did you make that incredible pixel art avatar?
I made it like 3-4 years ago in Affinity Designer. Glad you like it!

I want a mac 😭😭😭
Naaaaaah it's illegal that it's only available on Mac
I know, my friend! I’m sure there’s something like this for windows?
@@CodinginPublicnope lol nothing close to it. There’s only flow launcher but it’s not even as close and powerful as ray cast is for Mac :(
Need to buy a Mac
I’m sure windows has something like this? Just not sure :)

Last time you posted a Mac Exclusive(oh my zh I believe) I scrounged hard to find a 'oh my posh'(which worked well)
Oh wait, it was warp.
