@s@selohcint’s how people talk about someone having died in India (or atleast from what I’ve seen, especially people who want to be kind/polite). ‘(s)he’s passed’ is never used; directly saying someone died or mentioning death itself is uncommon too. There’s a discomfort culturally in a significant parts of india about talking of death in direct terms atleast in English. You’ll often hear ‘(s)he is no more’ instead. (And no it’s not a direct translation of what’s said in Hindi about someone dying).

Like the easiest audio example I can give is scammer calls video..pay attention to the syntax and abnormal word usage.

A Reddit mod with a girlfriend sounds too good to be true
Dolan closes his eyes, leans over, and lets out a loud, three-second long fart. Then the wet sounds of his intestines releasing old, smelly, crammed up food into the toilet can be heard immediately after. This intense wave is over in eleven seconds. He leans back on the seat and opens his eyes. That took a lot out of him. He's starting to sweat. It is clear that Dolan suffered enough for now. Now it is your turn.
The smell coming from his freshly-formed produce is absolutely fowl. This room stinks worse than the wide dumpster right by your apartment, and that has not been cleaned in years! Your body reacts to his stench by covering its own face, facing the door. Dolan notices you rush to defense mode.

A tear then sheds from your eye. Not because of his sarcastic, sick & twisted sense of humor. But by how strong the aroma of unflushed waste is. Like cutting onions, more tears start to cover your eyes. You start to squint them.

In a panic, you try opening the door again, but it is still locked! Aggressively twisting the knob, you suddenly hear him lean over the seat once more.

we have a ton of mundane reddit shit but its not dramatic enough to be slop. r/pics recently banned everyone who had ever interacted with r/whenthe from their sub because of a feud between the modteams. i feel like drama surrounding r/whenthe (which is a perfectly fine maybe left leaning if it matters meme subreddit) is the absolute epitome of mundane reddit drama because they're literally just a bunch of people being chill and making sure nobody posts porn and every other reddit mod on the platform wants them dead.

Hey, I know about both of those mods. The Antimeme subreddit used to be unmoderated before Rioblox took over, and after that, Course_mediocre did. They weren’t great mods. That Rio guy even permanently banned me for a half-year-old meme comment. It was one of those overused “Your execution will be in 3 days". comment He said violence wasn’t allowed on the subreddit due to new rule changes.
Apparently, foreseeing the future that the mods would change and new rules would be added is a required power if you want to comment there. I tried explaining that I couldn’t have known a rule like that would be created someday or that the sub would get new mods, but he just ignored my DMs.
What a weird place Reddit is.
Edit: I logged back in reddit after a while to amuse myself with this situation and it seems like that Rio guy has been Mass reporting and getting people IP banned for exposing the fact his "girlfriend" was some Indian dude. Bro is powertripping he even got the r/antimeme2 subreddit banned (the whole sub yes), because the proof was posted on that sub.
Another sub r/antimemez got banned because they started posting the proof too. Yk these mods are literally called "power mods" and they hold the power to get admins to ban whole subs and users.

Iirc CourseMediocre was also an active member of the subreddit and would also powertrip, removing posts that weren't their own and only having theirs up. That or it was Rio doing all the removals. Either way, the subreddit was less "antimeme" and more "CourseMediocre's antimeme edits". (Got so bad I once saw the most recent posts were 4 CourseMediocre edits in a row)
Looking at the sub now after all the drama, it seems it's slowly recovering since CourseMediocre's "passing" with a lot more variety in the posts there.

Of course, they showed up later and came clean after it didn't work.

This subredddit is one of the subreddits I am most active on Reddit, I can safely say that they're NOT the same person and it's 100% a catfishing incident
The reason I can say that is because I chatted with him in portuguese using slangs and abbreviations that non-portuguese speakers struggle to understand, so people discovering that Course is an indian boy is already proof enough they're not the same person
