Since I belong to the modern era, I really understand how difficult it is to register a point on electronic armors, causing fighters to control their kicks, reducing their speed and power. I've been searching for young and known athletes who competed in 2008 Beijing and honestly, Those athletes that still exist today are countable with my ten fingers. But we can't blame the fighters themselves, they trained for so many years being engaged in flashy and powerful kicks and these electronic armors ruined their fighting style. No wonder so many athletes that came from nowhere have competed in 2012 and 2016 Olympics. I really hope that WTF would come up to a solution for this. I think requiring more power in order to score on these armors could make a difference. I'm looking forward for better changes, Goodluck WTF!
You are wrong. The electronical system has a power threshold which is not reach, the points can't be scored. So the more powerful the kicks are, the better their chances are to score.
Well, that was one of the wildest and unusual fights I have ever seen. Complete with high scoring, controversial calls from the referee as well as the judges, several delays and contrasting styles. To sum it all up...wild. 😐
I've been out of Tae Kwon Do for a while now, no idea how they score the points, but it just looks like a cock fight with the leading legs, where have the spinning kicks and KO attempts gone? It's like sport fencing.
Согласен. В наше время было в двухтысячных все удары как удары. Стыдно за нынешнее тЫквандо. Правильно написал одни тЫчки а не удары ( У Храмцова все удары подошвой. Как ладошкой по одному месту. Удары не сильные подошвой больше гладящие удары. Но почему-то датчики срабатывают и дают очки. Возникает ощущение что на подошве датчики более чувствительные чем остальные. Он в клинче стоит сгибается в крючок ногу так же крючком сгибает и просто прикладывает без особого удара подошву в жилету и два очка за это? Либо чем больше площадь соприкосновения тем лучше дают очки. Короче ни красоты ни силы удара ни техники. Главное приложить подошву ровно в жилету и вот очки. Как ключ от домофона. Ровно приложил без усилия и он сработал. Так же и этот смысл нынешнего тЫквандо как ключ от домофона ((
I did not like Cisse, he is only engaged in short term fighting. I belong to the old school and I fight young men in their early 20's. They are naturally more powerful than me but still can't beat me. I was born in the 60s and we are still brave at heart. Now great technique feeble minded

Sifo Dyas however if you hit daedo too hard it sometimes doesn’t score
