Hightly recommend this thing. Cooling lasts for hours, makes you sweat less (personal experience) and you get cool water that refreshes you. I use it for everything, from hiking to airsoft, or any labor intesive activities in hot conditions. And you can use it in conjunction with soft armor and real plates if you do real tactical work. I rarely endorse products but this one deserves it. It's so good that it's even beeing adopted by cookers so they stay confy in industrial kitchens.

I have one myself but I do not use mine for airsoft. Rather, I have worn it under actually ballistic vests for hours and it is a godsend and useful to have to keeping my body cool and also keeping things ergonomic and not having to carry water bottles or a bladder when what I do does not allow or needs to be more streamlined.
What about later in the day when its all melted. Does just having the water in there help with some cooling?
The water of course stays in there and it does help with body regulation, be it frozen or not or warmed up. I have zero complaints about the system after having worn it for hours in all conditions, hot and cold and in different environments. The water is good to drink and with the way it is set up, it really isn't that hard to drink out of.
I run this i love it. Works great. I recommend using this in conjunction a smaller bladder as well and drink out of this FIRST. OR use it for shorter skirmishes in the summer. It does feel cheap but its plenty sturdy

For someone like me with MS this could be really useful.
I dont run a plate carrier for airsoft, but as a cosplayer this is very interesting. Would be great to keep cool when im in a heavy cosplay for hours for a convention
and you dont have to carry an ugly bottle around haha

The hydration part is pointless unless you don't mind waiting for it to melt. I drink around 1 liter of water within the first two hours of a milsim so I can't wait for this thing to melt and my gear is already heavy enough so I definitely wouldn't be running a bladder with this. I like that they added the hydration part but it just seems pointless to me. Maybe if they dropped the price it'd be worth trying it out, but for now I'll just stick to my regular bladder and put ice in it.

Do you know if there's a way to remove the bladder and put some form of cover on it? Cause I want to get this but I don't want to use it for hydration and I don't want the bladder to get in the way.

But then I realized it was my buddies.
I have one of these and the only problem I find is halfway through the day it tastes like hot piss because of the heat transferred from my body into my plate carrier

Saw this at Ballahack in VA very cheap material it should be like 10 bucks not 45 plus the water will melt and be loud when u run when it melts. What if it gets condensation outside of it? Then you have a soggy plate carrier!
What? I'll get soggy with your sweat anyway so that's irrelevant. And no, it can't be $10. It can be just any plastic for drinking reservoirs. $40 is a great deal for this.
lol are you saying that because it's lightweight? That's literally one of the best things on it. With ice, it even helps ballistic protection. Worst thing is, you don't even have it, you just "saw" one.

You have no idea how hard it is to invest your own money into a new product then. This was done my a LEO officer that patrolled in the desert and needed a cooling device. He took his own damn money and made this happen. He'd be bankrupt by now for just $10 a piece, I bet that's what it costs on materials alone. It's not any injection molded plastic. It has to be BPA free to avoid contamination, Has to be inpact tested, because it goes in a PLATE CARRIER and has to be lightweight. Seriously, see their video where that shoot this thing. It absorves rounds when frozen and the plastic just has indentations. Seriously, you done own one, you just SAW one and didn't like the price and it "felt cheap". That's all you got as an argument. Come with a real one dumbass. You want this thing to be the same price as fake china dummy plates, you're crazy.

I just bought one at Serious Viking 2, during the tier one mission I lost the bite valve, do you know if that or the whole hose are replaceable?
Just get any bite valve you like. Upgrade to a source or camelbak valve.

I got one about a month ago straight from Qore. I say it's been a God send for putting in my work vest and my airsoft vest so I'm not sweating like a prostitute in church within the first few hours.

seems like it would add more. i stopped using my condor cyclone plate carrier cause was always sweating my ass off too much in it because we only play out doors in the area i live at and went with sure grip battle belt and leg panel set up instead
if you put it on the front, you dont have it sagging on the back choking you out
Its the dumbest thing i seen so far for an airsoft merchandise. The obly thing i can see for using this would be a long gameplay. Anything else beside that would be pointless.
It lasts 4 hours. Do you really think ice melts in 10 seconds
Its built for real people to use not airsofters as a priority. Have you ever spent a day in Iraq or Syria? This would be a fucking god send to soldiers and marines there.
