@@ESEMXD Well, the car and the engine, code OM642, were designed before the big 2009 - 2010 world economic crisis. The CDI engines from Mercedes-Benz are highly reliable in general. There were some issues with the timing chain on the 250 CDI engine with 204 hp, but still, other than that, the engine is reliable. They have good injection system, highly reliable turbochargers made by Garret (before they were bought by the miserable Honeywell). And in general, they have quite a bit of power, high torque, low fuel consumption when going 140-160 km/h - like very low fuel consumption. And despite being diesel, they are smooth engines. You could also go with a C 220 CDI. A W204 facelift from 2012 lets say.

@@legioner9 Can you say the same for 2014 W205 C250+ model? Currently driving with W212 E350 2011. Seems like not for W205. And W204 V6 has this engine
