- Did you always wanted to have a wireless webcam / camera, which you can place wherever you wanted? To see your 3D printer from your PC? Wanted to walk around the desk when you are having a conference and having the webcam following you?
All this you can do with Canon Powershot PX alias Powershot Pick and much more!!
Check this how to video, to setup Powershot PX as Wireless network webcam. The ultimate solution for your own PTZ webcam, which works with more or less all conferencing / video call apps ( Zoom, MS Teams, Skype,..) - Наука
Same problem here I have spent hours trying to get this to work (whole reason I baught this cam) cant find any trouble shooting support anywhere. Have followed directions to the T and still nothing running win 11 pro. I would not advise to use as webcam.
Adam how is your network setup?
@@jurcek_bricks it's not my network it's simple setup computer even sees the device but just not in the webcam utility.
that's really interesting. I saw that there could ve problems with some routers, but ony old devices....
Where can you see the camera in your computer?
Im having a really hard time setting it up as a webcam ive only been able to make it come up on the utility app once.
onemanarmy there is an app as part of Windows named "Camera". Run it and check if it's visible there. If not, something went wrong with the installation/connection.
If the Wireless app on your PC is not detecting the camera something went wrong with the WiFi settings. Try to reset the camera and make the whole procedure once more.
@@jurcek_bricks Doing the same procedure I have only had the option to interact once. And i lost the connection after disabling my computers default webcam when I had to restart.
@@Stafernisy why did you disable the webcam? it's not needed to work.
my proposal would be to uninstall the webcam app from pc, restart it, reset the PX and make everything fron scratch.
Did it work?
@@jurcek_bricks no, after imputing my wifi name and password etc it has a solid blue light but doesnt show up on the desktop app or in my internet provider app to confirm its connected to wifi.
Doesn't work on mac -.-
Also i think my comment was blocked
it's not working on mac, because the app is available only for Windows
