Whow, thank you so much! Took me so long after a long time to discover Paul Bley again. And also, what a level of breathing together in a band! So much space and relaxed, though intensive, highest level of listening and communication ❤
This is my favorite piano trio of all. What a treat to hear this! I love these players. I like the trio recordings with Charley Haden too but this combination really speaks to me. Thank you for posting this and all the Paul Motian sets you have posted. I am just overwhelmed at the opportunity to hear this. Thank you.
Merci à vous. Post-mortem et + de 20 ans après, ces musiciens restent actuels. Merci également pour les 15 minutes de J. Bro en 4tet avec M. Turner/T. Morgan et J. Baron sur votre playlist, quels musiciens ! Quelle performance !
RIGHT? Everyday I look to see what new magnificent prize awaits me on my YT feed. It's like a present every time I check it out. I freaking love this trio. THe record from 1990 really got me into Paul Bley, and have dove in, checking out all his different albums, live shows, etc. THIS trio holds something for me, maybe it's just because that's what I heard first, but either way, 3 master musicians, and just a great vibe. I am blessed to be able to hear this!!!
@@johnnyprovo988 Hi Johnny ! Thanks for your interest. I'd like to share this short performance by Paul Bley with you : less than three minutes of joy. ok.ru/video/26385648237
Paul Bley, boldly took the Piano Trio to Brave New Worlds! As much as I love Jarrett's trio...this is the Apex!
They have all contributed in their own way...
Очень красиво😊

For me, he has THE most recognizable and best sound on piano of any of the dozens upon dozens of jazz pianists that I have heard.

Lindíssimo! Muito obrigado! Thanks desde brasil
De nada, com prazer !
But...47:37 is Moor (I know the theme) , and at the 53:25 it is something that is usually called "Flame", Paul Bley's extrapolations of My Old Flame.
Fue paul bley uno de los músicos mas capaces de Nueva York. Escuchen y no hablen. Las palabras están de más.
did bley ever play "smoke gets in your eyes?"
n9 is not ida lupino tune
It's true, sorry !
