This is awesome ! Thank you so much!
Saw them in concert a few tmes and their so much fun. They are the AC/DC of Newfoundland!
I was raised listening to great big sea and im damn proud to listen to such an awesome fellow canadian band
I love this concert. It's old, but great to have on while I am at work!
Thats categorically awesome, hope you had a great day then at work!
Majorly late response and hey lol with the one song hey being connected with the Bruce's (its a long one but... bear with me lol) yeah genuinely a descendant of Clan Bruce lol, I could become the Monarch in Scotland, its about as likely as the Pope to become a Protestant but it could happen as much as him becoming a Monarch in Canada pmsl!
I love that band soo much!
This was a great show. A Canadian friend had gotten me hooked on GBS a couple years before. I was in Toronto and made my way to see them that night. This Texan had a great time that night.
I love the tone and timbre of their voices and how they harmonize, but with an 'edge', no other band like them! Newfoundlanders are very special people!
This is so accurate and yet succinct. Thanks.
I saw the GBS XX anniversary show in 2013 New York City and these guys are truly awesome!
How come I've missed these guys for so many years? Totally great! Going to buy the back catalogue! Love and peace.
I saw them in Vancouver BC Canada years ago! From Esst Coast to West Coast ! Fun to dance to!
My first GBS concert. Never forget it
This is one of the great bands I could listen to all day/night.
I have seen them in concert over 10 times and every time was amazing.
need too see them live again. I hope they do a reunion. I bet they will.
They need to and hey like I said to someone else haha:

" Yeah..... lol
Bob Hallett is one talented motherfu**er! They all are but wow!
people who don't like this music they are crazy!!!
maaaan, I still listen to audio rips i made of this show back in 2004. I'm so glad you posted this to youtube. I don't think the original streamed version still exists. The setlist on this tour was amazing. They were clearly rejuvenated by the change in line up and generally having a consistent touring drummer now.
Time for a reunion tour boys!
I saw them two or three times on this tour. Each show was great. MY favorite GBS tour I've seen.
They totally rock...seen them twice so far and incredible performance from Alan Doyle and band.👌
My friend Chris & I enjoy your music. We have seen you in concert in Vancouver BC. My friend Chris Hoffman especially enjoys dancing to your music.
Thanks for this!
Being in London, England, this is probably as close as I'll ever get to seeing these guys in concert (solo or as a group)!
Love listening to/watching them preform.. there's always so much energy from both the group and the crowd! Not to mention the great music too!
Love, love, love GBS! Best band around! I am not from there, but a good friend in NL introduced me to them a few years ago.
If you feel the warmth radiating from this band on this video you will feel it tenfold when you see them live! We've seen them three times, plus the great treat of meeting Alan after his solo show, and those were incomparable concerts. GBS are kings, indeed.
"And Bob broke out his fiddle and danced naked across the floor" :)
TORONTO!!! A great big sea of a city!
My friend Chris & I have enjoyed dancing to your music ! Seen you in Vancouver B.C Canada!
Awesome music I love it
AWESOME!!!
Love them!!
This is awesome music.
44:22 This guy gets it!!
Is that you? ;) good job b'ye
There you go!
Gold
It's Irish Fest weekend in Oshkosh. Gotta start it with some good music, and GBS fits the bill. Too bad they aren't going to be there!
I'd love to be in the middle of that audience!

💕🐳It IS AWESOME🐳💕
RECRUITING SEARGENT!!!!!!
I squeaked the most at that point. :-D :-D
*squeeeeeBobsqueeeeeeeeeee*
⚓🔥
Love it! Great group if you have never heard them check them out!
Canadians
"I'll vote for you!" :-)
😊
Man, who'd think there'd ever been a room in Toronto hoppin to the accordion? Lol
I think I figured it out it makes a lot of mistakes you freaking eliminate one mistake and you need to keep on going finally get all your mistakes taken care of and you're perfect
I wonder if anyone has a digital dvd quality version of this concert. Hint, hint, hint Alan, Bob, Sean
take a listen to, When I'm up, river driver, sea of no cares, When I am King, wave over wave... that should be a good start for you
Thanks for making my life better when I'm in hospital
#crazy
*PADDY MURPHY!!!*
Great stuff. I am new to these guys. Can you list the names of the songs so I can buy them?
Why is Dwight Schrute at the concert? 1:13:14
Hurray for newfies
I've been a metalhead most of my life, but GBS (along with Fury in the Slaughterhouse and Villagers of Ioannina City) is one of the few "other" bands I could listen to all day long. And yes, you may check out the other two now. Lol.
Alan almost sounds auto tuned lol
lol...
Bob: stranger things have recently happened
Alan: yes George Bush became president so I figure I can become king!
is this Kris on the drums???
Yes. Kris MacFarlane is the only live drummer GBS ever had. And the only live drummer Alan has ever had too.
@@BetweenTheRock great big DVD was someone else though, right?
@@woodenstoolstudios7211 I haven't watched the GBDVD in 15 years, but Kris is GBS's only live-show drummer. Every now and again someone might have sat in on a song or two as a lark - even Alan and Sean took their turns at Kris's drum kit on occasion - and there were drum tracks on their albums all the way back to the early days, but to the best of my knowledge, Kris is the Great Big One & Only Live Drummer.
@@woodenstoolstudios7211 I think this was the first time I saw Kris w. GBS. ruclips.net/video/mqDdMA1QKoc/видео.html
He's killer anyway...
Bob was kind of flat on that Newfoundlanders tune....
