Yeah, I understand the DTI community is a bit much considering most of the players are ex- Royale high players. But I do think the reason why I and others may get a little defensive is because we don't want the game to turn into RH. Where everyone is criticizing the game for every little thing they don't like and imo I am starting to see that happening with the new DTI updates. Some people are ungrateful for having developers that actually care and listen to them and are taking advantage of that to command and hate on them for that same reason. Thats why I just feel a little off when people hate DTI for no valid reason. Honestly this is why i love this channel, literally all the rh content creators switched to dti immediately, i was thinking it was to spite rh in a way, but my mind has changed ( i still dont know ) Dti is a great game but i wish the rh creators did both

Even though royal high is getting toxic every passing second, it still is one of the most beautiful Roblox games I’ve ever played, the clothes, sets, hair, bodices, heels and even the buildings are so majestic. You can be creative and make whatever you want. All you have to do is grind and level up. As for me, I adore grinding games a lot and I love profit trading, I like dressing up and look cute. That’s why I didn’t quit royal high, I would never, I might take breaks or just not play for a few months but I won’t quit, I always get to urge to play it again. Dress to impress on the other hand, I tried many times switching as I knew it had a better community but I just couldn’t, after a while, dress to impress has just got so boring, the only reason I go back is because of Lana quests. Why I think it’s boring? Well, there are many factors, it’s very repetitive, I don’t like dressing up in only 5 mins, that’s too less, 10 mins like sunset island is ehh, okay. But 5 mins? No, I always get really frustrated if I forget to wear something since I have slight anger issues. Not to mention the voting system, it’s so terrible, genuinely so terrible. Makes me rage quit more than I do in fucking tower of hell. Like the bad outfits always get podium? And I’m not saying bad as in my opinion bad, I’m talking about trolls and stuff. Yk those outfits where they dint even wearing anything at all and get first. One more factor. Farming servers = cheating, why? Let me tell you, even the baddest, most terrible outfits can get about 50 stars each round causing them to get a lot of stars so they can join pro servers, pro servers are supposed to have pro outfits, but those people don’t because they just cheated their way up. In royal high, you can’t do that. And of course the last factor is, dress to impress is just not as eye catching and fun as royal high. As said in the video, it’s like a modern fashion famous or just sunset island, I’m better at royal high so why don’t I just play sunset island? Seriously, not to mention permanent vip is 800 robux? That’s so much just for a few more items, and there is a limit aswell. I know royal high also has expensive multipliers but the thing is, you don’t NEED to buy them. In dress to impress, the toxic dti community, the vip ones who call the non vips poor, are so rude that the kids watching feel obliged to buy vip just to “fit in”. And also, I don’t have multipliers and I’m pretty rich kind of. I just profit trade. (2x multiplier is usually affordable).
I have nothing against DTI but I swear is boring as hell, yes, you can make outfits and stuff but the layering on clothes triggers me a lot (cuz seems like the dti players are allergic to simple but pretty outfits) Also, I’m super indecisive and 5 mins to dress up is just impossible for me I gave it a try and I didn’t liked it, I suck on dress up games like on rh I change my fit every minute 😭 is obvious that on dti I’m gonna change my mind on the last second. Tbh if all the ex rh players said that rh was repetitive well guess what? As a runway diva in DTI who have played the game since december of 2023 and a RH player since 2017 I agree DTI all u do u just make an outfit like what is the fun in that? I agree it looks pretty and all but like what is the point if the outfit have NO PURPOSE LIKE AT ALL and like the fact the game's category is "roleplay" like where is the rp? DTI and RH are both not the best in my opinion I only play them still bc there is just no fun games like AT ALL. Honestly as a dti player who was already at fashion maven, i do not really understand the hype of it. Its votings are more rigged than in sunset island for some reason. Like the ratio of the votes in dti being rigged is probably around 8 in 10(usually because the voters votes everyone 1 star and only a few ppl voted 1-3 stars, sometime they voted 1-3 stars only when the ones they voted for didnt try at all) while in rh is around 1 in 10(if no teamers and ppl didnt vote). Its kind of funny for me considering how these two dress up games have some teamers in it and yet dti's votes gets more rigged than rh (yesterday i played dti and guess what? The person who kept placing was naked girl with a brown hair and make up on. The theme wasnt even summer themes or anything. ) And i honestly feel kinda bad for the both devs, like ppl are a bit too forcing them to work faster and work as they expect and usually the "expectations" is diffrent from others so some ppl would start to critisize(sorry if i spelled that wrong) the devs for not having their expectations fulfilled. I hope this community becomes better one day. 😞
the reason why the voting is rigged is bc sunset island actually gives u some diamonds when u vote but in DTI u get nothing and ppl want to win first ALL THE TIME. Everything is so rigged and no one knows what the theme means, if the theme is scene, everyone would do a movie scene and when I actually make a scene outfit I get voted last, it's actually so annoying because the community is mostly kids so they won't understand it much or they would do inaccurate outfits of the theme without researching and they'll get first. i know what you mean, you see creators like callmehhailey and beaplayz that have now shifted to dti after doing strictly on royal high content. they are their own people who make their own choices but i honestly miss seeing their rh content becuase in 2020-2023 they were my go to rh creators. its sad seeing everyone converting to dti but i can understand with all of the backlash and criticism royal high is getting right now with the new campus and the making of the dolls. i hope rh can pull through and listen to their community. because if this keeps going on more and more players are going to leave royale high. which is weird to see from someone whos been playing since 2018 where there were a 100k + players in the game all the time.

I tried playing dti once, the theme was "Lost at sea" or smth and I dressed as someone on a cruise bc I didnt have the mermaid tail... I then received death threats for not being a mermaid, and I haven't touched the game since! Other than that, it's just hard to leave behind all my progress in Royale High, since I started playing on oct 2017 and have been active ever since, so I've gathered a LOT of items over the years 💔

I don’t think it’s a DTI issue but just the players you were with. It’s can be crazy sometimes with little obnoxious kids but there’s always good servers as well. Don’t give up on it just yet! I also get not wanting to lose progress, I was like that too until my account got deleted and I started to realise RH was not beginner friendly and breached out. Alls to wishing you the best! ❤
In my opinion dress to impress videos are not that interesting a lot of the content creators make very similar videos and some even talk in a very pitchy voice that just irritates me so much
Fr like I do not see the hype of the game at all. It's overrated. The only times I am on DTI are updates and sometimes in freeplay to make outfits. VERY seldom I play in regular servers. Also I hate the 4-5 minute timer in the game, it stresses me out trying to rush outfits in the game. I hate it..

Enough of them can lead them to fix that certain thing. Which in your case is more time. Fingers crossed 2025 they have a new game mode to have more time. Have a good day though!
I play dti a lot more now since RH doesn’t really have updates and I personally feel like dti puts more work into their game than Royale high. I still play Royale high, I love Royale high, I really hope that RH 2025 is better than the last few years. But I agree with the community I am not a content creator but I don’t think I would want to make content on either one if I started today.
Yeah, I agree so much. I wish I had started my content on a different game because I feel like I am locked into making RH content since that's all people would watch from me. Personally, i dont mind dti...but i domt like it mainly because of how EVERYONE just hopped on to the dti wagen and the content for the game got overwhelming for me. It felt like it was being shoved down my throat and i couldnt even digest properly- overstimulation? If thats the correct way to put it. I do watch dti content from time to time but its just....meh for me ☹️ (sorry dti players if my opinion ofended you🙏🏾)
I have never played dti before, and my friends are always confused why I don’t, I just can’t play the game because it doesn’t interest me as much as it does, I just feel like royale high suites me more, and I’m so sad that most royale high players are leaving the community for dti 😕
I don’t really like dti. I feel like making outfits in a short amount of time and then being judged is stressful. And then it’s like, what’s the point? It’s just the same thing over and over. Royale high is a role play where I have more freedom in what I do and can have more long term goals. I was very disappointed when a bunch of the royale high RUclipsrs just moved over to dti. Like Callmehaley was my favorite youtuber for years, now I don’t even watch her content.
No one roleplays anymore though so that's not really a point, but I agree with everything else. Rh has more to it since it has been a game for 7 years but still feels dry a lot of time. I Callmehhaley shouldn't comeback to RH because of what the developers did to her though. i think it's valid for her to leave. Other content creators though probably wanted to play a game that had less drama and more "content" and thus went to DTI.
I still role play, by myself or with friends so it works as a point for me. I know what happened with Callmehhaley and understand why she and other royale high youtubers left, but I’m still disappointed that a lot of the youtubers I watched do dti now because often times I loved the people behind the channel and wanted to keep watching them but their content just isn’t entertaining to me anymore and doesn’t apply to me. It’s just sad is all. Nothing against their decisions.

As someone who played royale high for a pretty short timespan (2019-2022) and plays dti almost everyday I agree that the dti community is very toxic, if you’re interested there’s a game similar to dti called IT GIRL it’s a better version of dti without all the toxic players :)
Right, currently Dress To Impress has the most toxic Roblox community because this bunch of propaganda from DTI has attracted mostly people from Twitter stan who probably are not even into Roblox. They are probably just playing it because it's what's hot right now and you know how much of fad chasers these people are. As someone who has been playing RH since 2020, I honestly prefer DTI, mostly because they listen to their own community more often, but I also understand that both games have completely different themes, and comparing them would be absurd, that's all I have to say
I used to watch beaplays for her royale high videos, but now she basically only posts dti content so i started switching to other youtubers like you. i also gave up on her beaplay giveaways and pageants because its too time consuming and i need to study for goodness sake😭

I don't play dti anymore. I stopped when I realized this is a pretty unentertaining game It's the same thing over and over again. The old royale high players who left asked for rp realms and places to roleplay in since they quit royale high, but you can only access it in freeplay. It's a really constant game and when you think about it people only left because of the lack of updates and the community aka callmehaley. So, over all its a 6.8/10 for me

But in my opinion I never understood the hype around the game, I'm not good again time management and when u don't have the most perfect outfit players can be judgemental (not all but at least most servers I've been in and what I've seen from the community). DTI is inspired by real life items I don't think they have ever thought about copying Royale high since the games are completely different. I think this just might be a reach.
In my opinion, DTI is too overhyped. So overhyped that even celebrities like Madison Beer played it. I think that it's a Fashion Famous ripoff, but just better and more advanced. It has better avatars, outfits and lore. It also gets tons of big updates, unlike Royale High which usually gets small updates. This may be why most Royale High content creators (For example, BeaPlays etc...) moved to DTI, and that's all they post now. Although they were once very active and renowned in the community. They also might be playing the game because of it's popularity, so they can make more of off it and may possibly leave DTI once it goes out of fashion. So glad to see a Royale High content creator that isn't leaving Royale High for DTI. Keep going!!

You can be creative and make whatever you want. All you have to do is grind and level up. As for me, I adore grinding games a lot and I love profit trading, I like dressing up and look cute.
That’s why I didn’t quit royal high, I would never, I might take breaks or just not play for a few months but I won’t quit, I always get to urge to play it again.
Dress to impress on the other hand, I tried many times switching as I knew it had a better community but I just couldn’t, after a while, dress to impress has just got so boring, the only reason I go back is because of Lana quests.
Why I think it’s boring? Well, there are many factors, it’s very repetitive, I don’t like dressing up in only 5 mins, that’s too less, 10 mins like sunset island is ehh, okay. But 5 mins? No, I always get really frustrated if I forget to wear something since I have slight anger issues.
Not to mention the voting system, it’s so terrible, genuinely so terrible. Makes me rage quit more than I do in fucking tower of hell. Like the bad outfits always get podium? And I’m not saying bad as in my opinion bad, I’m talking about trolls and stuff. Yk those outfits where they dint even wearing anything at all and get first.
One more factor. Farming servers = cheating, why? Let me tell you, even the baddest, most terrible outfits can get about 50 stars each round causing them to get a lot of stars so they can join pro servers, pro servers are supposed to have pro outfits, but those people don’t because they just cheated their way up. In royal high, you can’t do that.
And of course the last factor is, dress to impress is just not as eye catching and fun as royal high. As said in the video, it’s like a modern fashion famous or just sunset island, I’m better at royal high so why don’t I just play sunset island? Seriously, not to mention permanent vip is 800 robux? That’s so much just for a few more items, and there is a limit aswell.
I know royal high also has expensive multipliers but the thing is, you don’t NEED to buy them. In dress to impress, the toxic dti community, the vip ones who call the non vips poor, are so rude that the kids watching feel obliged to buy vip just to “fit in”. And also, I don’t have multipliers and I’m pretty rich kind of. I just profit trade. (2x multiplier is usually affordable).
I have nothing against DTI but I swear is boring as hell, yes, you can make outfits and stuff but the layering on clothes triggers me a lot (cuz seems like the dti players are allergic to simple but pretty outfits)
Also, I’m super indecisive and 5 mins to dress up is just impossible for me
I gave it a try and I didn’t liked it, I suck on dress up games like on rh I change my fit every minute 😭 is obvious that on dti I’m gonna change my mind on the last second.
Tbh if all the ex rh players said that rh was repetitive well guess what? As a runway diva in DTI who have played the game since december of 2023 and a RH player since 2017 I agree DTI all u do u just make an outfit like what is the fun in that? I agree it looks pretty and all but like what is the point if the outfit have NO PURPOSE LIKE AT ALL and like the fact the game's category is "roleplay" like where is the rp? DTI and RH are both not the best in my opinion I only play them still bc there is just no fun games like AT ALL. Honestly as a dti player who was already at fashion maven, i do not really understand the hype of it. Its votings are more rigged than in sunset island for some reason. Like the ratio of the votes in dti being rigged is probably around 8 in 10(usually because the voters votes everyone 1 star and only a few ppl voted 1-3 stars, sometime they voted 1-3 stars only when the ones they voted for didnt try at all) while in rh is around 1 in 10(if no teamers and ppl didnt vote). Its kind of funny for me considering how these two dress up games have some teamers in it and yet dti's votes gets more rigged than rh (yesterday i played dti and guess what? The person who kept placing was naked girl with a brown hair and make up on. The theme wasnt even summer themes or anything. )
And i honestly feel kinda bad for the both devs, like ppl are a bit too forcing them to work faster and work as they expect and usually the "expectations" is diffrent from others so some ppl would start to critisize(sorry if i spelled that wrong) the devs for not having their expectations fulfilled. I hope this community becomes better one day. 😞
the reason why the voting is rigged is bc sunset island actually gives u some diamonds when u vote but in DTI u get nothing and ppl want to win first ALL THE TIME. Everything is so rigged and no one knows what the theme means, if the theme is scene, everyone would do a movie scene and when I actually make a scene outfit I get voted last, it's actually so annoying because the community is mostly kids so they won't understand it much or they would do inaccurate outfits of the theme without researching and they'll get first. i know what you mean, you see creators like callmehhailey and beaplayz that have now shifted to dti after doing strictly on royal high content. they are their own people who make their own choices but i honestly miss seeing their rh content becuase in 2020-2023 they were my go to rh creators. its sad seeing everyone converting to dti but i can understand with all of the backlash and criticism royal high is getting right now with the new campus and the making of the dolls. i hope rh can pull through and listen to their community. because if this keeps going on more and more players are going to leave royale high. which is weird to see from someone whos been playing since 2018 where there were a 100k + players in the game all the time.

Trendsetter here! Theres a gameplay mode where theres no timer, if that matters. I have a very bad memory too, but i have muscle memory at this point.
I tried playing dti once, the theme was "Lost at sea" or smth and I dressed as someone on a cruise bc I didnt have the mermaid tail... I then received death threats for not being a mermaid, and I haven't touched the game since! Other than that, it's just hard to leave behind all my progress in Royale High, since I started playing on oct 2017 and have been active ever since, so I've gathered a LOT of items over the years 💔

I don’t think it’s a DTI issue but just the players you were with. It’s can be crazy sometimes with little obnoxious kids but there’s always good servers as well. Don’t give up on it just yet! I also get not wanting to lose progress, I was like that too until my account got deleted and I started to realise RH was not beginner friendly and breached out. Alls to wishing you the best! ❤
In my opinion dress to impress videos are not that interesting a lot of the content creators make very similar videos and some even talk in a very pitchy voice that just irritates me so much

I play dti a lot more now since RH doesn’t really have updates and I personally feel like dti puts more work into their game than Royale high. I still play Royale high, I love Royale high, I really hope that RH 2025 is better than the last few years. But I agree with the community I am not a content creator but I don’t think I would want to make content on either one if I started today.

Personally, i dont mind dti...but i domt like it mainly because of how EVERYONE just hopped on to the dti wagen and the content for the game got overwhelming for me. I don’t really like dti. I feel like making outfits in a short amount of time and then being judged is stressful. And then it’s like, what’s the point? It’s just the same thing over and over. Royale high is a role play where I have more freedom in what I do and can have more long term goals. I was very disappointed when a bunch of the royale high RUclipsrs just moved over to dti. Like Callmehaley was my favorite youtuber for years, now I don’t even watch her content.
No one roleplays anymore though so that's not really a point, but I agree with everything else. Rh has more to it since it has been a game for 7 years but still feels dry a lot of time. I Callmehhaley shouldn't comeback to RH because of what the developers did to her though. i think it's valid for her to leave. Other content creators though probably wanted to play a game that had less drama and more "content" and thus went to DTI.
I still role play, by myself or with friends so it works as a point for me. I know what happened with Callmehhaley and understand why she and other royale high youtubers left, but I’m still disappointed that a lot of the youtubers I watched do dti now because often times I loved the people behind the channel and wanted to keep watching them but their content just isn’t entertaining to me anymore and doesn’t apply to me. It’s just sad is all. Nothing against their decisions.

As someone who played royale high for a pretty short timespan (2019-2022) and plays dti almost everyday I agree that the dti community is very toxic, if you’re interested there’s a game similar to dti called IT GIRL it’s a better version of dti without all the toxic

Right, currently Dress To Impress has the most toxic Roblox community because this bunch of propaganda from DTI has attracted mostly people from Twitter stan who probably are not even into Roblox. They are probably just playing it because it's what's hot right now and you know how much of fad chasers these people are. I used to watch beaplays for her royale high videos, but now she basically only posts dti content so i started switching to other youtubers like you. i also gave up on her beaplay giveaways and pageants because its too time consuming and i need to study for goodness sake😭

I don't play dti anymore. I stopped when I realized this is a pretty unentertaining game It's the same thing over and over again. The old royale high players who left asked for rp realms and places to roleplay in since they quit royale high, but you can only access it in freeplay. It's a really constant game and when you think about it people only left because of the lack of updates and the community aka callmehaley. So, over all its a 6.8/10 for me

I keep seeing people say all of this about how bad and toxic the servers and players are… yet I never see this in the game? Rh isn’t any less toxic so I don’t see why these two are even comparable atp. If you like dti then that’s fine if you like rh then that’s fine too. Personally I play both but I’m on the verge of quitting Rh because the game is extremely boring and feels like it’s on the verge of being abandoned or something

The sad truth for us who have been playing this game for years is that there is still no replacement for Royale High, no game has been near to the extremelly amazing and super fun game it was during it's peak.

finally someoneone said it, I have nothing against dti or the developers nor content creators making content surrounding dti. But in my opinion I never understood the hype around the game, I'm not good again time management and when u don't have the most perfect outfit players can be judgemental (not all but at least most servers I've been in and what I've seen from the community). In my opinion, DTI is too overhyped. So overhyped that even celebrities like Madison Beer played it. I think that it's a Fashion Famous ripoff, but just better and more advanced. It has better avatars, outfits and lore. It also gets tons of big updates, unlike Royale High which usually gets small updates. This may be why most Royale High content creators (For example, BeaPlays etc...) moved to DTI, and that's all they post now. Although they were once very active and renowned in the community. They also might be playing the game because of it's popularity, so they can make more of off it and may possibly leave DTI once it goes out of fashion. So glad to see a Royale High content creator that isn't leaving Royale High for DTI. Keep going!!
I don’t make dti content on my TikTok acc because I don’t like the game even tho I’ve seen most of my rh moots turn to dti and gain more views I don’t want to make content that will make me go viral even tho I make rh vids and they get about 20-100 likes and if I made dti I could get 100-200 I would rather do I what I like most
