This reminds me of when fidget spinners were a thing and people bearings started getting worse. As the only yoyoer in the school kids began paying me to fix/ maintain their bearings. Good times....😂😂😂

Recently the thumbnails have been so captivating! These vlogs are becoming higher and high quality. Soon enough even non yoyers will begin to watch these vlogs.
That's exactly how I maintain my bearings. Deshield, isopropyl bath, a needle drop of lube, once every 3-5 months. Great video, for sure the most useful for new yoers among your vlogs

To get that walking footage this man had to walk up, place the camera down, fix its position, walk back, get the shot, walk to the camera. Then he had to cut it all. Multiple times he did this. When he got the walking in the house shot he had to go in the house, place the camera, hit record, and walk back out, then back in. Props to this man for the dedication, but this made me realize the life of a vlogger is even more fantasy then I previously believed. None of his shots were completely "natural", and he always has to act in a certain way for the camera.

ever taught about ultrasonic part cleaner for your bearings ? put water in the cleaner and your prefered solvent in a glass jar with your parts. you could be amazed to see all the stuff that comes out with that cleaner.

HAHAHA! I walk somewhere, put the camera down, turn around and walk that way again as if it was the first time I walked there. That's how Casey did it, that's how Logan did it and it's worked out pretty well so far HAHA.

I want to clean my bearings with lighter fluid, but what should I do to it when I'm done? What do you guys usually do to it after cleaning? I can't just throw it away as it's flammable, and I don't have a refillable lighter as I'm not a smoker or anyone in my family.

Carbon will deposit if you anything above the flame. Make sure to not expose the bearing to the top or space above the flame.

Bro what lube you using. I did the same thing put it on a needle tip and it immediately reduces the spin time. But yours keep spinning much much longer

Haha be sure to keep the pads and bearings maintained. You don't need as many yoyos as I have, it just makes it less tiring to maintain.

Ive just got my first yoyo a little bit ago and watched your video on how to tell when your yoyo bearing is tired and seems to be and i was wondering should i get them cus i do throw it for 30 min to 1h a day.
It’s the yo-yo’s response system. Has to do with bind and response consistency as a whole. Different pads play a bit differently and worn out pads make binding less consistent and just harder to do.

What is the purpose of lighter on a bearing after a cleaning on lighter fluid i want to know
You can't put a bearing into straight water otherwise it will rust. So the lighter fluid eliminates all the crap in the bearing slowing it down, without causing it to rust.

Unresponsive. Any serious 1a Yoyoer will be using an unresponsive Yoyo. Unless they are a looping (2a) champion.

When you flash methanols carbon particles will separate. So all the work you did to clean them you just ended up with essentially throwing ash into your bearing.
