We visited Florida in the mid 90s when £1 was worth $2 and picked this up along with Warcraft II and Grand Theft Auto. I loved the irreverent style, the snarky voice-over, the quick witted quips and the animations. So much care and imagination was put into the graphics too, obviously inspired by those animations you get at the bowling alley but made mostly with simple typography - it had a unique style that was so much fun. As a British 13yr old a lot of the US-centric pop culture questions went over my head, but I still loved it.
Thank you so VERY much for releasing the series on Steam! I always felt that the YDKJ games are special and deserve to be played by a new generation of gamers. :)
@@TKFTGuillotine The only way Fifth-D is coming back, is either Jackbox makes an entire rewrite, or a fan project carries it on, like the ydkj.co.uk/ version.
@@vanessaperez-hernandez2237 it's not actually. it got changed in the XL version. you can patch it back in by replacing a file in xl with a file from vol. 1
I am constantly begging for a modern Jackbox pack to bring this back. I don't care how many others don't care for it. This was my childhood and I never get tired of it.
A lifetime ago of memories!!! These kids don't even know!
Then WHY did I watch a ydkj game(in the classic pack)? Huh? HUH!?
Used to play this CD on my first desktop. Good stuff, thanks!
You dont know jack: A computer game from my childhood! There needs to be an updated volume.

I just found my CD's of the first five games! They wouldn't play on my newer desktop. I loved this game! Miss it so much!

Man, the original YDKJ is so quaint now.
I still have my first edition of this game. GOOD times!
Loved this game! We just edited to have tournaments amongst the family. It was a blast!
I still have the demo of the first YDKJ game which came out in 1995! It was so much fun, but I can't install it...🥺
They have it on steam now if you wanted to get em.
We still play this when family is over at Christmas and when the kids have sleepovers.
I finally understand the title now.
Is this still sound this was fun
