  • First full day in spectacular #hunzavalley, and trust me, it did not disappoint! We'll take a walk through the #bazaar in the main town of #Karimabad, visit an 800-year old fort on top of a mountain, and of course meet some super friendly locals along the way. Let's check it out.
Don't forget to watch in 4K!
Thanks for watching! Cheers, Nick :)

Greetings from Los Angeles. The reason for short doors is so an intruder would have to bend to get in, and thus, it would slow him down.

08:01 Its not bcoz of short people. Its main purpose is to keep drifting snow and chilly air entering in the house to a minimum

@3:09 the lower parts of the mountains looks quite scared, like houses used to exit or something new is being built?

At that, there were also kingdoms in east Turkistan now China's Xinjiang. Chinese invaded east Turkistan in the 1880s some of the regions were under the control of the USSR. Hunza former Kanjud was also under the influence of Russia and the Britishers were afraid they would use these people and invade Kashmir and Delhi India where the Britishers were in power Britishers invaded this region in the same year when the Chinese attacked east Turkistan both Britishers and Chinese got success and Chinese failed to invade Hunza. This is the reason Chinese say Hunza is also part of East Turkistan because Uyguristan or kingdom in Kashgar ,yarkand urumchi had good relations with kingdom of Hunza
