This was really helpful! I have not played competitive Yugioh since I was like 8 or 9 and Red-Eyes is my favorite archetype so this is gonna be fun. I appreciate the in-depth of how this deck could work and I plan on building this deck slowly to finally play some Edison. I am exicited to hear how this deck works for you!
Swing of memories lacks impact would just replace it with call the haunted for better value. For traps you only have 2 at this point it might be worth more to strait up use 2 royal decree as starlight road will destroy your boss monster and give them stardust. Exploder Dragonwing - Raging Battle as this needs dragon none tuners and I don't see how you can make it with your deck. Not to mention it is destruction so stardust. Musician king is a good card you would use instant fusion then bring back plague from grave to make Arcanite Magician an extrealy strong sincro that can pop 2 cards. Overall the ratios of the deck are too offensive while you have no defensive cards. If I see an empty board I can hit you for 10k with 4 diffrent combos to stay in your theme I would add in survival hand traps the best one with your deck would be battle fader and could even add in a sangan to get in hand easier. You seem to want to special summon the monster for having nothing in grave who conflicts with the dragon engine while 2500 att is nothing special. If you have decent control over your dark ratio in grave you want dark arm but even that sounds bricky with your deck so if we want something useful that can beat over 2500 att monsters who is dark or wind backwing gale can do it, is a normal summon and even a tuner and can cut by half the att of the opposing monster. (Do not use him in a machine matchup because of how forteress works) Your deck should preform decently against control decks but will get shredded against combo or OTK decks as you lack play interruption outside of 1 monster. Every local has a diffrent scene so I can't judge the overall performance or even tell you how to improve the side deck without additional data. Let us know how it went and what decks you played against so we can give you some more actionable advice. Good luck !
