I wonder if bears are actually more sensitive to the scent on or electromagnetic fields of the cameras...and, apparently, coyotes also seem to sense them but get spooked. Bears are just, all, sort of, "What are you lookin' at? Yes, I'm a bear, yes I'm big - you gotta problem with that?".
I don’t know what it is with the black bears. Every one of them just beams right into the camera. You must smell delicious to them. Be careful! Lol. The coyotes smell human and they run in the opposite direction. All the other animals don’t seem to pay a lot of attention to it. But the bears….man, they are fascinated by the camera or the smell or both. Very cool video!
Man this is the reason I love your channel so much. All the wildlife is amazing. That bear is a noisy. Such beautiful footage 😍. Thank Snakeman for sharing it with us man.
I was born in Franklin and lived there for a while as a kid until my family moved away. Never realized there were bears there that large!! Bayou Teche was my backyard!
@@snakeman1 snake man what is the model on these cameras your using? I’ve been debating on investing in browning trail cams for deer hunting. These appear to work well judging by your videos
Beautiful Timber Rattler, and handsome Black Bear. I also loved the clip of the Barred Owl. It appears that it made a kill, but I couldn’t see what it was on my iPhone’s tiny screen. Did it have something? Blessings, and be safe kola... 😉
Those bears are sure curious and interested in your trail cam. Another great video!
Those blackbeard are curious of cameras, other wildlife don't seem to be though

Was that a bobcat or a puma @ 4:58?
they need to open black bear season down there ..lived there for 20 years the nears have become a pain in the ass..do nothing but destroy stuff.
Do black bears hibernate in such a warm climate?
No. They don't hibernate but they do take a long nap during the winter months.
@@snakeman1 thank you
It's interesting to see that bears are constantly surrounded by a cloud of flies/mosquitos.

They do find the cameras that's for sure. I use little bear proof boxes to put the cameras in. Thanks
Love the video. Lots of wildlife and the Bears and the trailcam were awesome.
Thank you Mary. Glad you enjoyed it.
I’ve never noticed what a flat assed walk bears have until now

Awesome footage ! Those bears sure like to sniff the cameras. That one bear sure has a lot of scars on his face . He must be an old fighter.
I agree louis. Old warrior that could tell a good story or two for sure. I can relate.

@@robertblades2379 Browning Strike Force Extreme. I'm by no means an expert but these cameras work well for my needs.

I’m not 100% positive but I’d guess it had a crawfish. My second guess would be a frog. 👍
That bear’s face looks rough ! He really wants to eat your camera !
He's an old scrapper for sure.
Always the bears...!! 👍😎🇨🇦🐻
that is one ugly bear. looked like he stuck his face into a beehive. looks kinda swollen
An old bruiser for sure. I'd love to know how old he is.
I love the bears.. they are so nosy!!
At 5:40 I think I saw Chris P. Bacon. 😉
