    I wonder if bears are actually more sensitive to the scent on or electromagnetic fields of the cameras...and, apparently, coyotes also seem to sense them but get spooked. Bears are just, all, sort of, "What are you lookin' at? Yes, I'm a bear, yes I'm big - you gotta problem with that?".

    Do black bears hibernate in such a warm climate?

    • @snakeman1
      @snakeman1  2 года назад

      No. They don't hibernate but they do take a long nap during the winter months.

    It's interesting to see that bears are constantly surrounded by a cloud of flies/mosquitos.

    I don’t know what it is with the black bears. Every one of them just beams right into the camera. You must smell delicious to them. Be careful! Lol. The coyotes smell human and they run in the opposite direction. All the other animals don’t seem to pay a lot of attention to it. But the bears….man, they are fascinated by the camera or the smell or both. Very cool video!

      They do find the cameras that's for sure. I use little bear proof boxes to put the cameras in. Thanks

    Beautiful Timber Rattler, and handsome Black Bear. I also loved the clip of the Barred Owl. It appears that it made a kill, but I couldn’t see what it was on my iPhone’s tiny screen. Did it have something?
