The Remote Rebuild Challenge:
Choose a team from either conference but don't take control of it. Then choose a team from the other conference and do take control of it.
Without having any influence on them it's now the goal to turn the team you don't control into NBA champions by aquiring the players yourself and then trading them over to the other team, building a championship roster for them.
If this seems too easy the goal should then be to also rebuild your own team and having both the team you control and the one you remotely rebuilt meet in the finals to see if you can take down the surefire roster you gave them.

Idea: The Comeback Kids Challenge
Build a team of players who have been a part of the winning side of 2-0, 3-1, or 3-2 comebacks (ex: LeBron in 2016, Jokic in the bubble, Tatum this year), but the catch is come playoff time, your team will need to make a comeback down at least 2-0 in every series. Good luck!

A couple ways to make this harder is to put the top5 players on the trade block, and make it so it says that your team is selling.( I honestly don’t know if it influences the cpus, but it would be cool to find out

(Keeping current players overalls, if Victor Olidipo progressed to a 91 ovr in 2k18 by the 2023 season but is a 78 in 2k23 because 2k didn’t predict the injuries you still take the 78 Victor Olidipo to start the rebuild).

You should do something like this where you can have 1 untouchable player at any time, and they can be swapped. But, you can't make anyone over 93 overall untouchable, only under. That way you have more control and can mess up or succeed on your own terms

Video idea: Simulate a year of fantasy draft to get the draft order. Then spin a wheel for a draft class for each of the 30 picks. For example for pick 1 if you get 2003 you get rookie Lebron or for pick 30 if you get 2011 you get rookie Jimmy.
Then after you finish the draft you select a random team to rebuild.

Quick history lesson: At the halfway mark of the 2018-2019 NHL season, the St. Louis Blues were dead last in the league standings. Despite this, they went on a tear in the remaining 41 regular season games, making the playoffs and ultimately winning the Stanley Cup.
The challenge: 1 year rebuild. Take the worst team in the league at the halfway mark of the season and win a championship.
Bonus challenge: A big catalyst for the Blues' turnaround was rookie goaltender Jordan Binnington, who was called up near the halfway mark of the season, and became not only the team's starter soon thereafter (playing nearly every minute of every game), but also one of the best goaltenders in the league.
Have a rookie player in your standing line-up, and have him average the most minutes per game on your team.

1. Put all draft classes that consist of at least 10 players on a wheel
2. The draft class you land on are the players that you can only trade for or sign in free agency. Example is the 2019 draft class, where only players such as Luka and Trae can be on your team.
3. Win a championship with a 10-man rotation. You have three chances to build the perfect roster.
